January 26, 2021 5.0 Having a contact form on a website is great for catching spam but not leads. If you want to catch actual leads on your website, add a schedule a call button and link it to calendly. You will be pleasantly surprised. Pros Integrates easily with ALL my google calendars. Simple interface. It actually drives me business leads. Cons I was looking for a way to charge a trip fee add-on based on the user's locations and this didn't have it - but nothing did. I can sync the calendar with my Mac Calendar app so when I'm unavailable it gets updated everywhere. Calendly allows you to set a "minimum scheduling notice" to prevent last minute meetings which is an awesome feature. You can personalize your URL making it easier to share with clients. Cons The free version of Calendly is a bit restricting. You can only schedule for one event but have the ability to create multiple events. My company is currently testing out the free version but will be purchasing the paid version shortly to more fully experience all Calendly has to offer. Our clinic partners love the ease of collecting appointments and the ability to sync with Google calendar. Setting up the rules regarding availability on your calendar is very straightforward. Cons The interaction between Calendly and the person who wants to schedule a meeting isn't the best. Pros I love how easy it is for me to be able to send a link to clients for them to schedule an appointment to speak with me. It's very customizable, and connects seamlessly with Google calendar. Generally, it's a nice and simple scheduling solution for anyone who wants to pay for that. Pros I like the simplicity of the layout and the ease of getting started with it. I know several other coaches whose use it and it's also easy from a client perspective. Cons I only used the free version and it was frustrating to have only one scheduling option. There are other software packages that give you a more robust free version, which I've switched to using. As a solo entrepreneur with an extremely limited budget, I wanted something I could use now and look professional that I can then scale up to a fully paid version as my business grows. Not being able to use Calendly for 2-3 types of appointments meant I had to deactivate and reactivate appointment types each time I contacted a potential client, which simply didn't work for me. Our sales team was finding it was difficult to schedule demos with clients for our product, but now that the power is in the clients hands, our team has to do less chasing! You can include payment in case someone needs to pay when they schedule an appointment. There is also options for automations. I use this to send people a link to schedule. This has been invaluable for phone screening -- I'm able to send 30 candidates a link to set up 20 minute calls and it doesn't matter what order they schedule in. It really reduces the amount of time it takes to schedule. I also really appreciate the ability to set up windows of when people can schedule, how far in advance people can schedule, and to ask specific questions (for example, I use "What position are you interviewing for?" and "What is the best number to reach you on for this call?" Cons Honestly, almost nothing! Maybe one thing that would be helpful is a notification if you have fewer than 3 times available, or something like that.
