August 16, 2019 5.0 We have literally created an api integration with our CRM for Calendly as the native meetings software on the CRM is rubbish. Calendly is a booking software and they do it well. Pros Ability to easily create different meeting options. Settings around how meetings are distributed between resources. Cons Our biggest frustration with one of our teams is the all or nothing on some of the settings such as everyone needs to be available as opposed to having for example 2 of the 3 people available. Pros I love being able to select my availability as well as customize different event types to fit different clients or meetings, and add my own pre-meeting questions that help me better prepare before. The software makes it so easy to schedule meetings through Zoom, Google Meet, phone call or in person, and especially helps when you are in different time zones with a client! Pros This allows me to book solid follow ups with leads in my pipeline who are generally pretty busy people. The link gives them a chance to book a time that works with both of our schedules in a few clicks of a button. On my end it's very customizable in terms of appointment requirements, and when I allow them to be scheduled. Also updates your calendar in real time. Cons Sometimes when working with international clients the timezones don't coordinate and they end up booking something that isn't at the time they intended. I'm not sure if this is something that can be addressed on Calendly's end, or if its on the end of the person booking the follow up. Review Source IU Irfan U. No more emailing back and form with availability comparisons and it manages the reminders about the appointment as well! It has greatly simplified this process for me. It has a lot of features that aren't useful to me because of the nature of my industry, but I would guess they are similarly awesome! I also really love that is references my 2 Google Calendars and edits them for me. Yay! Cons The only potential downside about this software is you have to stay really on top of putting things on your calendar the moment a meeting or tasks is assigned or else you can accidentally double book yourself (it's a good thing in the end). I use it all the time to interviews setting and work perfectly for me Cons Some times the person who set the appoiment dont see confirmation email or link of the virtual meeting. The customers also get an email after the appointment is scheduled so they are able to cancel it or request a day/time change if something comes up and that day/time no longer works for them. Pros We use a receptionist company that takes all of our business calls and whenver a customer wants to schedule a free estimate, the receptionist uses Calendly. We have sales reps that are assigned these customers in a round robin way. The appointment automatically gets added to their calendar and all of the customer information is included. We are saving so much time compared to scheduling via phone call or email. Calendly allows me to our add our branding, so it's a seamless process for customers. Pros Simple user interface - Calendly makes it easy to offer appointment times for customers and integrates them with existing calendars. Cons With the 1 user plan, I am limited in how it works with my team. The multi-user or team plans are out of our price range (very small business). I would like to be able to notify more than one email address when an appointment is made. Love the clean interface and user friendliness. Being able to send a link to a bunch of possible hires and they choose a time to talk to us made the virtual interview much easier to organize. Pros Very easy to setup and send invites for scheduling appointments. Loved the various customization options. Great to have zoom integration with the free trial. Calendar integration was very useful for automatically adding the confirmed meeting to my calendar. Clean interface. Customized links. Cons The main downsides of this service are all resolved by purchasing the premium option. The last time I used this to schedule meeting they did not include Zoom integration with the free tier, but they have since added it. Pros I love how easy it is to schedule calls with my clients. The interface is pretty, easy to use and intuitive and the program makes coordinating schedules efficient and streamlined, which is very improtant to me as a business owner. Cons The only reason I'm no longer using Calendly is become its competitor, Acuity, has partnered with Squarespace to offer free memberships to the paid version of their program, offering more extensive options to me without having to pay. I will still use calendly on a social level but not on a corporate level. Pros It's an incredibly simple software with one objective. Allowing candidates to look at your calendar and book time to speak with you. I love how simple and to the point it is. It is easy to navigate and it is free. Cons From a user experience the application itself it not very pleasing to look at. As a Recruiter who reaches out to new candidates I feel that it takes away from the professional experience. Even when it creates an invite on the calendar it just feels a little messy. February 25, 2022 5.0 Using Calendly has been great and saved a lot of time with easy scheduling for meetings. I am a therapist/Clinical Director at a private practice so I don't have a lot of time to go back and forth checking schedules to meet with outside providers or other therapist so this made it much easier. Now when someone needs to meet with me, I just send them my link and they can schedule what works for them without me having to do anything else! Pros It is super easy to use and takes the back and forth out of working out a time to meet. They can easily click my link and choose from my available appointment slots. I also like that I can add different types of appointments and locations for them to choose from. Cons There is not anything I have come across that I did not like just yet. IT Manager Civil Engineering Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Easy option for scheduling software installs...or anything really." April 5, 2022 5.0 I used this in a trial capacity because I needed to install software on 36 user computers. I know I could have pushed out the software through Group Policy or script, but this was a very hefty install and I wanted the users to know while it was happening. Instead of having them call me when they were ready or trying to tell users when I would be hitting their PC, I simply sent out my Calendly link (I created a 60 minute window appointment link) and had them schedule it when they would be ready. Calendly looked at my calendar and only displayed the 60 minute windows available on my calendar to them. My users all scheduled times that created MS Teams meetings for each appointment and a calendar event for them to accept with a 15 minute reminder for them and for me. It worked out very well for all involved. Pros Availability shown to the appointment makers from my O365 calendar was perfect for making sure I was not double booked. Creating a Teams meeting for each appointment and setting reminders for all involved worked extremely well. The ability to make up time windows in different increments for different kinds of appointments was very nice as well. Cons The only thing I did not care too much for was having to re-integrate it with my O365 account after a period of non usage. I don't know if it was some kind of timeout or an error, but it was easily correctable and not a big deal.
