It's easy to mark availability and then have it directly translated into someone else's time zone for them. It's easy to use and to implement and it generally makes everyone's life easier Pros The way this software handles time zones and availability is absolutely impressive. I've never had an easier time scheduling meetings and projects with people from different countries. Cons There wasn't anything I particularly disliked. You preset your availability and you let the other person choose when they can take. Completely takes the guesswork out of scheduling phone calls! It's a matured platform that integrates with many of the platforms that business owners use. They stay in touch with their customer base as a way to stay current with their needs. Pros They have attention to details when it comes to features that help setup meeting options quickly. A visible hidden/showing toggle for when you want to have certain meeting options to remain private. Integration with zoom. Setup of custom reminders Automatic follow-up emails to survey meeting participants Payment integration with Stripe Cloning meetings and availability Chrome extension and Gmail integration It is a great experience in their paid plans. The free plan lacks certain integrations and customizations but it's worth the use when you are starting. Cons When I started using it, the lack of zoom integration in their free plan was a bummer. April 17, 2021 4.0 I've found a way to make Calendly work for me that I'm happy with. Overall I like to control my own schedule so I use this when I am doing a specific launch and want to offer a limited number of schedule-your-own sessions. This is perfect for that! Pros Calendly is very easy to set up and sync to your existing calendar. I have found it easy to create time blocks either individually by date or repeated week to week. Cons I know this is hard, if not impossible to find, but I really wanted a scheduling account that would sync to multiple calendars in the free version. I have 10 google and apple calendars I use to track my blended family and 2 businesses, it doesn't really help to only sync with one calendar, but I don't use a scheduler enough to pay for a more sophisticated plan. November 3, 2018 5.0 I've had a great experience with Calendly. It's definitely spared me a lot of scheduling headaches. Pros Calendly is like having your own personal assistant, seriously. I've wasted so much time in the past going back and forth with clients about meeting schedules. "What time is good for you? Sorry, I'm booked then, what about THIS time?". Calendly allows me to post my availability and then clients can scroll through to find the perfect time for them. Automating my scheduling saves me an enormous amount of time. I like that I can add time limits to appointments as well as add in the amount of lead time I need between the current time and when someone can schedule an appointment. I need time to prepare for meetings, so this option always gives me plenty of lead time to prepare for newly scheduled appointments. I also love that it integrates with my Google calendar. Cons It would be great if you could customize the look of Calendly to give it a more branded feel. Review Source Tanya M. Pros I appreciate the flexibility Calendly affords to my prospective clients. Before using the software, I would propose days and times to prospective clients to schedule a meeting. Now, they can easily choose and day and time to meet that works for them and book a meeting directly into my calendar. Cons Unless you upgrade to a paid plan, you are limited to specific constraints. For example, you can only use the free version to schedule meetings around one event. I does what we need it to do. When we try to push the limits of it's capability it gets a little delicate but that's to be expected. Cons When you start trying to get to complicated..with weird sales pods or shared calendars and multiple integrations...things start to get very very fragile and can break easily. Even from the candidate's perspective, we have received multiple accolades with people just being impressed that they were able to schedule time and receive the confirmation instantly with all instructions for the interview/meeting that we set up. Pros This is the best tool to use if you are in recruiting. The ability to set up different email templates is wonderful. I support the recruiters on our team and they use Calendly to send out phone screen invitations to candidates. The responses are instant and Calendly syncs with our Outlook Calendar, so they are only able to schedule themselves in an available time slot within the parameters we place. Cons The only drawback is the chatbot. When needing help on a specific area, the chatbot is not the best option to use for assistance. You would have to reach out to Calendly's team directly. Get Calendly, pay the cheap subscription price, connect your calendar, and start sending the link out to schedule your meetings. Your calendar will be blocked off for the times you already have a meeting, or set as blocked times, and your clients will be able to pick times that work best for them. Using Calendly will make you look more professional and your customers will appreciate how easy it is to work with you. It has greatly simplified setting up interviews with potential future staff, enabling me to enter my schedule at will and send them a blank calendar with times for them to select. It's saved a lot of back and forth, and has given me a backup system for when an applicant had their interview time wrong. Cons I often forget to change the schedule before sending it out.
