November 3, 2018 5.0 I've had a great experience with Calendly. It's definitely spared me a lot of scheduling headaches. Pros Calendly is like having your own personal assistant, seriously. I've wasted so much time in the past going back and forth with clients about meeting schedules. "What time is good for you? Sorry, I'm booked then, what about THIS time?". Calendly allows me to post my availability and then clients can scroll through to find the perfect time for them. Automating my scheduling saves me an enormous amount of time. I like that I can add time limits to appointments as well as add in the amount of lead time I need between the current time and when someone can schedule an appointment. I need time to prepare for meetings, so this option always gives me plenty of lead time to prepare for newly scheduled appointments. I also love that it integrates with my Google calendar. Cons It would be great if you could customize the look of Calendly to give it a more branded feel. Review Source Tanya M. Pros I appreciate the flexibility Calendly affords to my prospective clients. Before using the software, I would propose days and times to prospective clients to schedule a meeting. Now, they can easily choose and day and time to meet that works for them and book a meeting directly into my calendar. Cons Unless you upgrade to a paid plan, you are limited to specific constraints. For example, you can only use the free version to schedule meetings around one event. I does what we need it to do. When we try to push the limits of it's capability it gets a little delicate but that's to be expected. Pros The tool solves a critical problem for sales people...that badly needed solving. It delivers on exactly what it promises too. Cons When you start trying to get to complicated..with weird sales pods or shared calendars and multiple integrations...things start to get very very fragile and can break easily. Even from the candidate's perspective, we have received multiple accolades with people just being impressed that they were able to schedule time and receive the confirmation instantly with all instructions for the interview/meeting that we set up. Pros This is the best tool to use if you are in recruiting. The ability to set up different email templates is wonderful. I support the recruiters on our team and they use Calendly to send out phone screen invitations to candidates. The responses are instant and Calendly syncs with our Outlook Calendar, so they are only able to schedule themselves in an available time slot within the parameters we place. Cons The only drawback is the chatbot. When needing help on a specific area, the chatbot is not the best option to use for assistance. You would have to reach out to Calendly's team directly. Get Calendly, pay the cheap subscription price, connect your calendar, and start sending the link out to schedule your meetings. Your calendar will be blocked off for the times you already have a meeting, or set as blocked times, and your clients will be able to pick times that work best for them. Using Calendly will make you look more professional and your customers will appreciate how easy it is to work with you. It has greatly simplified setting up interviews with potential future staff, enabling me to enter my schedule at will and send them a blank calendar with times for them to select. It's saved a lot of back and forth, and has given me a backup system for when an applicant had their interview time wrong. Cons I often forget to change the schedule before sending it out. It helps provide better customer service and time to Pros Our team uses Microsoft Outlook Calendar, but always struggle looking at our schedules to see availability. I include the link on my email signature and you can easily view my availability OR schedule a 30-minute meeting (or your preferred time). Cons I would love to be able to see more visibility and scheduling options between more people. The free version gave us enough tools for what we needed at the beginning. Never reached the need to upgrade to premium. Introwise appeared in the moment we needed to upgrade and we're really happy with the change. Pros Free version of the app is fair and gives enough functionalities for what I needed at the beginning of my business. Cons The monthly fees for the premium version of the software is a bit excessive, in my humble opinion. I've never tested it, but I think prices are more related to the popularity of the service and the fact it was the first software to serve this purpouse. February 6, 2018 5.0 Pros My favorite feature that Calendly provides is the ability to setup team scheduling. Being able to setup a link for clients to schedule a call with an entire team's availability, that is then assigned by round robin, and is fully integrated with everyone's google calendar rocks! I highly recommend Calendly as a great scheduling tool. It has a clean and easy to use interface and very good integration options. Cons I only ran into a small bump with my time zone settings, but the Calendly support team was fast and friendly to help me get it fixed. It was somewhat cumbersome when I tried to provide a feature request idea I emailed to the support team. Instead of the support person gathering and passing along the idea, I was sent a link to a 'General Products Ideas' where I was instructed to find an idea similar to mine in a giant list to be able to include it. Pros Calendly is a good appointment scheduling platform that I use whenever I need to book appointments with my work colleagues or external partners. It allows you to schedule calls and integrates with other platforms such as Zoom which is super convenient. Pros Anytime you need to make sure that you will be there for someone from a different hemisphere on the right time - check. It makes sure that everyone sees the time adjusted to their local settings - and that they won't miss it. On top of that, you can set up a whole plethora of different meeting options. Not only finding a time that works well for us both and then integrating seamlessly with my Google calendar, but with the upgraded version of the software, I'm able to also customize automated responses. I use this feature to send information on where to meet and request information to be sent over. Pros I love how simple, easy, and reliable this software is. It has allowed me to schedule guests for my interview show without a bunch of "back and forth" emails to find a mutually beneficial time. Cons It's certainly not the "prettiest" of softwares.
