Tried combination of excel and calendar. But calendly solves this simple problem if you manage it effectively. Pros It makes everything easier to manage clutter and organise time based on convenience of both parties. Integration are another huge payoff but apart form that it's just simple UI and anybody can use - get upto speed. This simplicity and yet powerful functionality can be really powerful. We haven't looked for another option we enjoy Calendly so much. Pros This has made making appointments super easy. The back and forth texting and emailing are gone! Setting up different types of appointments with automatic Zoom invitations has made our life so much easier. Cons Sharing different appointments with co-workers isn't super easy. Pros I liked having a free trial to play around with it and get used to it. It's a popular system and I knew many people who had used it. Plus on a small business level the pricing is really low cost. Cons I tried setting up one of my people with two calendars based on existing clients and new clients that we wanted to keep separate. After a long time looking on the support docs with no success I emailed support, they were helpful and what I found out was that we needed two separate calendars for the same person whereas I know other scheduling software had the option to separate them out so we switched. It’s been a great way for me to stay organized. I doubt I’ll ever use any other calendar after having this. 10/10. Pros The ease of access to my contacts and my calendar that’s already installed on my device. The way it syncs everything together is great. It allows me to see everything all in one place. Cons The only issue I’ve had is an event not saving and not getting the notification for it. It was a really important event, however I’m sure it was something I did as I was fairly new to this at the time. It used to take so long to do this, now it takes me 2 minutes to send an email and Done! Pros My favourite thing about this is that I can inform staff to book time with me on their own. This saves me so much time that I would have otherwise spent going back and forth with 25 team members trying to find times to schedule them. Cons The only thing that I could say was lacking, and I am not even sure there can be a fix at all, is that once someone books something, there is no easy way to rebook if they have to change their availability. " November 12, 2020 2.0 Pros I like the way it looks on my website and that there is follow up to appts. Cons I switched to Calendly because it offered the option to have group sign ups. Unfortunately, the group sign up is complicated to set up and very difficult for clients to sign up. I also experienced multiple times when for an unknown reason, Calendly disconnected or wouldn't allow clients to book their session or pay. Pros I liked how the visual representation of time, and how I can block it off so when it came to presenting it to potential clients it's very straightforward. Cons There isn't much bad to say about the software, maybe making it easier to integrate with other apps to provide a more seamless UX? Pros Signing up with Calendly is very fast, and users appreciate the simplicity of the process. It is also effortless to have Calendly integrated with a website or social media. Cons Calendly does not have a feature to add multiple brands or companies under a single dashboard, one of the significant downsides for those engaged in numerous businesses. I imagine the paid version delivers on all it says. If I was a professional services business (like a therapist) I would use this everytime. The Outlook integration is broken, the patch does not work. The Zoom integration crashed Outlook and cannot be reestablished. Customer service is non-existent or at the very least, just a re-hash of what you find when you dig thru the online support they offer. . Pros seemed to be an easy tool. Turns out I am a tool for trying to make it work. BEFORE you invest time and energy here, search the support docs and read the dozens of issues and questions from Microsoft and Outlook users. AVOID. Cons Functionality with integrations for Zoom and Outlook are constantly crashing, and appointments are being set one on top of the other, resulting in 4-6 hours rescheduling appts and setting up Zooms last week. After several hours attempting to use suggestions from support and reinstalling patches, etc. no progress to a fix. Reached out to customer service (email only) and was handed around with an escalation but received no reply no meaningful help. They went radio silent. Eventually when my business grew i changed over to more advanced options. Pros This is one of the most used booking calendars in the market and it is very easy to use. A lot of the options on the free version are what you will most probably need in a small business operation. Pros This software takes the tedium out of scheduling meetings. I include a link to my Calendly at the end of all my emails, and clients have the ability to schedule time with me at their convenience (with times/dates/limits that I can control). I am also able to share my personal Calendly link to others who wish to schedule time with me. This personal calendar link allows people to pick the best time and plan to meet with me without hassle. Overall, this simple scheduling tool allows me to focus my time doing other tasks without stressing about my calendar. Pros Calendly is a simple, easy to use scheduling tool that syncs to either Google, Office 365, or Outlook application. Once an appointment is scheduled, the appointment is automatically placed on your calendar and an email notification is sent. It takes away the stress of overbooking! Cons The only disadvantaged to Calendly is the inability to connect a videoconferencing link in the calendar invite. If you would like to connect a videoconferencing link, such as Skype, Zoom, or Google Hangouts, you would have to manually go into your calendar applications, edit, and add the link. It's a great tool and one of the best I've used. Pros I've tried a few different meeting scheduling apps, but I keep coming back to Calendly because of it's great design and ease of scheduling, both for me in setting it up and for my clients. Cons There really isn't much to dislike. Even the free plan offers enough functionality to work well.
