Cons It can be a little boring since it is very basic, it lacks UI upgrades for it to be on the snappy side, nonetheless this is still a very useful tool. It is easy to fill out questionnaires regarding why we are scheduling a meeting and it provides us with updates regarding timelines so that we may ensure we meet correct deadlines prior to the scheduled date. Pros I've set my parameters and it links to my calendar, so now, any time I need to schedule a call with someone, it's just pasting a link. It makes it super easy and clear for my customers to see if the times I'm available will work for them and they can pick. And I don't have to think about it much or go back and forth with people trying to find times. Cons The only cons I've come across are things that stem from me using the free version. I only need this occasionally, so it doesn't make sense for me to upgrade. I accept that a free version will have limits. Pros Calendly is one of those tools that you don't know you needed until you use it. It solves well many of the issues that usually happen with meetings. It also feels like having a digital personal assistant which is in charge of arranging your meetings, scheduling them, and remind you when you have them. I like that you can specify your preferences for Calendly to know of your availability. Pros Using calendly I made an appointment by going to scheduling page sent by my client. I selected the appointment type as one-on-one and then selected the date and time. Finally entered my details and confirmed my appointment and submitted. After that I received an email regarding the appointment details and it reminded me time to time about my appointment. The integration tools are intuitive and seamless, making the act of booking out time a much simpler process. Pros Calendly is an excellent tool for managing calendar invites, and avoiding conflicts in schedule. Integrating it into a website allows you to screen leads as well for sales purposes. Cons I have very few issues with Calendly, but I know that not everybody is interested in using the platform. Some people are stuck in the past and still prefer an email thread to work out the details for a meeting. It helps to create secret events, manage buffer time between meetings and more. You can share a link where your future availability details can be accessed by others as well. Cons They need to take integration a bit further by allowing native calender softwares on Windows and smartphones too. The free version allows for 1 event type to be used. I love how simple and easy it is to use and set up. The interface is very intuitive for my clients and ensures I don't get double booked and customers are empowered to choose a time that works best for themselves. Cons Would be great to have more controls in place to help disperse appointments between days. Some of the more advanced settings are less intuitive to find and can be called out more. When selecting the time that works best for you, you can also see the group's anonymous responses to see what the most popular times are. It allows you to make meeting times work for everyone! Pros When you send a calendly link to your group, each person can click and select the times that are most convenient for them to meet. It is a great way to decide what time to have a meeting or event if you have a lot of peoples schedules to consider. Or you can use it to schedule multiple individual meetings with people. The link is sent out, and each person can choose from an available list of times for individual scheduling. Cons You do have to scroll to the right or left to see all of the times that are available. Pros I like that I can simply share a link to my calendar and let my calendar fill as it will. Allowing my customers to book a block of time that suites their schedule and mine with no conflicts is key! Cons I haven't looked into it much, but the look is kind of boring. I'd like to be able to customize what my calendar looks like. Pros It was the first of its kind available here, so I recommended it to a friend based on functionalities. He uses, and loves the paid version. a year later, I also tried the trial version. For me, I didnt find it as easy to use- I managed to schedule appointments and send links, but somehow couldn't set a flexible duration. This may have been due to the trial version- but I didnt like it. Not all meetings are equally long. Cons As I mentioned- I had some issues setting flexible durations for meetings. Maybe it was just me, maybe these restrictions come with the trial version. In any case I discontinued. It made scheduling appointments and meetups really convenient, especially if the person I'm meeting is tech-savvy. But the custom date and time can improve, in order for me to say it was a great experience. Pros I like how it conveniently gives people a platform to schedule an appointment. With Calendly, I don't need to get a person's email and invite them. They can schedule it themselves. I also like how you can control your available dates and times. It's also cool that people can earn from the appointments and meetings they scheduled via Calendly. Cons I don't like the visibility of custom date & time feature. For a scheduling app, customizing the slots' date and time should be easily accessible. I should be able to change my available dates and times in one click or at least two clicks.
