We use it to book our podcast guests and meeting. Pros Automated and pretty intuitive. Easily integrated with other apps like Zoom. Syncs with google and ical. Pros It is literally fool-proof to use, so far everyone I have ever sent a Calendly link has been able to use it to book a time in my calendar. A lot of clicking around to make sure everything is working and as it should be. Would be great if there were more pricing options and I could send emails directly from the site as opposed to copying the link into another email program. This may be a feature with the full subscription/purchase, but as a small business we would not use the program enough to justify the spend. Overall, great program/software! Makes hiring a breeze... I'm able to schedule interviews with multiple candidates at once without worrying about double booking and they can choose a time convenient for them! Pros Easy to customize! Can set up interview appointments easily for a job and can reach many candidates at once. Syncs easily with email and google calendar. I can have one role listed and just adjust dates and times as needed when hiring again. All the details and information are kept until I change it directly, even after the selected dates so I don't have to re-create a "job" each time. Cons Currently only using the free version... so options are limited. Would like to have several different jobs or roles at once, but that is only available with the subscription. Unfortunately, as a small business we do not have a need or demand to justify the purchase... would be nice if they offered different features or options for purchase based on frequency of use or size of the company. I think it is too costly. Pros I've used many scheduling platforms. Calendly is pretty solid! Its not the best but not the worst. You can't check multiple calendars for conflicts without paying more. It costs to add more users as well. I found a better product that is free, easy to use and has all the features I want so I stopped using Calendly. (Appointlet) Cons Setting up scheduling rules and changing availability isn't very easy. Costs too much to add users and won't check multiple calendars without charging more as well. Pros I really like how quick the setup process is. It's really slick that it can block off appointment slots if it sees I have a conflicting appointment. Text reminders are essential these days since many people miss email reminders amongst all the other junk mail they get. Cons The freeware has just enough features to get you hooked and wanting more functionality. I used to deal with no-shows all the time but now my process has greatly improved because of Calendly. Cons I would like to see Calendly allow "open house" style appointments where an unlimited number of people can sign up for the same time slot. We use the Calendly link when we let people know how they can get in touch. I'm really happy with the functionality in the free version/subscription. I probably send a Calendly link out a few dozen times a day! Pros It's so easy to set up my available days and times and connect to my calendars on Google Cal so when I have an event I add to a personal or business calendar, it changes my Calendly availability. People can reschedule if we need to (easily), and I can include instructions in the event. And that's all in the free version! I tried out several before settling on Calendly. It allows me to customize the length of meetings that people can schedule with me (which is great, as my availability and their needs vary by day), and sends automatic text and/or email reminders about upcoming meetings to my clients. My scheduled appointments integrate with Google Calendar, saving me the extra step of having to manually add them. Cons It can be a bit challenging, at first, to learn how to navigate the dashboard, as parts of it aren't as intuitive as I'd like, but with very little effort, I mastered the Calendly system. My reschedule rate is higher rather than just flat cancellations. My direct sales business is professional and my appointment times are clearly identified for my customers. Pros Calendly allows me to keep my calendar private but my scheduled appointment openings public. I have a public calendar link that my team or customers can access. I absolutely love the text reminde feature where I can customize the text. Personally, I have my calendar link in the text reminder in case someone needs to reschedule their appointment on their own. For group scheduling, I like to use Calendly to find overlapping availability instead of (or before) using Doodle or making manual suggestions. Customization of the meeting form is almost perfect in order to collect the info I need and integrate things like zoom links into the ultimate calendar invite. Cons The culture shift of Calendly has been and continues to be a little hard. Even though using Calendly is incredibly efficient, there are some times when asking someone to use my calendly for scheduling feels impersonal or like I'm not valuing them as a partner.
