Pros CodeREADr offers us an all in one solution for our Event access control needs. We can scan our event attendee's tickets no matter the format we use for the ticket codes, and offers great solutions for venues with limited connectivity with their auto-sync features. They offer a great API that easily integrates into our solution to automate the scan services and database creation, and also forwarding the scans to our backend. Cons Some of the features that can be configured through their admin portal are not yet available to be configured using their API, but most of the features we use are fully available. Some app rebranding features can only be set on an account level but not on a per user or per scan service level. Pros When I was doing research for my customer there was only one such solution I've taken into consideration and it was CodeREADr. The great thing is that the mobile app works almost on any smartphone but if you need performance you can use professional barcode scanners as well. Cons It's not cheap and when considering a solution with a bigger number of app users I would go for building my own app using FlutterFlow + Mindee or something similar. But for 3-10 devices this is the right value for money. We use it for testing RFID cards and other hardware. But my company also recommends it to people looking to do attendance tracking. Cons I would like it if they would sell a development package as well. A flat rate people could pay to get the database setup any way they like.
