While the system is designed for awards I can attest that the systems functionality meant that it was easy to convert this to a grant management system with simple changes to language. I found the Award Force site easy to navigate once you are shown how and the support team set up time for as many orientation sessions as I needed and were prompt in responding to any issues. As an administrator, its really easy to see nominees are progressing through submitting their entry and then during the judging round to see how the judges are progressing. Reassuring customer support that solved issues quickly - and even on one occasion created a solution to a bespoke issue we had. Cons The 'broadcast' feature could be improved. It could feature more mail merge tags based on the entry or user form. And messages would often land in people's spam folder. The client found the system easy to navigate once we had quickly shown them how to view submissions etc. It is great you can have different stages of the judging process which are easily viewable within the 'Judging' menu bar. Pros Customization features, ease of use, UX, great functions and it looks very slick. It is easy to understand, and we can build it to our needs. Cons There are some restrictions as in to what it cannot do, but they are minor, and quite often resolved with the next development batch. I definitely recommend the training call as it is easier to understand when someone who is very familiar with the system shows you around. Cons There's no one piece of software to do everything, but we've encountered very few issues or inflexibilities we haven't been able to work around. It allowed a more hands off approach with entrants. For our judges the process allowed them to work in their own time at their own pace and for them to communicate with their fellow judges without rquired mutliple meetings. Pros The support we received to set up for the first time; the simplicity of use for entrants and judges. Cons For our small organisation the cost was a major addition to our budget. It's super easy to set everything up and user friendly!" September 21, 2017 5.0 It saved us SO much time with our Awards program. Couldn't have done it without Award Force and their great team! Pros Award Force is so user friendly. Once I was shown how to use it, I picked it up within minutes. The program is so smooth and I've never had any issues while using it. It is so easy to search, for example, for certain categories or entries. This saved us so much time during our process. Cons The only thing that I can even list as a con was the hour we spent in training over the computer. There were certain parts that I found confusing and didn't feel like were completely explained. However, customer service agent was a complete angel and did her best to explain. Once I got my hands on it, I picked it up quickly. Review Source CA Clarisse A. Award Force is very easy to use, super intuitive and the support is first class. The flexibility the system gives for different categories / nominations, along with integrated payment options and automated notifications, makes this system a dream! Cons This is an excellent platform for simple awards programs - programs where there is one application period as an example and requires no pre-screening.
