Pros

1\. Onboarding and customer support. 2. Ease of implementation. 3. Continuous functionality enhancements. 4. Ease of use. 5. Supports our processes.

Cons

1\. License requirements can be a little confusing. There are not any other issues we have with AuditBoard

I've been using AuditBoard for over 5 years and have enjoyed our experience. We've implemented a lot of the new features that AuditBoard has rolled out and been utilizing Workstream for many organization wide certifications.

Pros

How it's easy to navigate and use, there are always new enhancements coming out that helps utilize the system more. If there are issues, customer support is quick to respond and help resolve the issue.

Cons

Some features are restrictive to tiers or features aren't compatible with certain Microsoft Office versions.

Very well designed tool to manage SOX, SOC and Operational audits, with consistently evolving AI capabilities.

Pros

Its simplicity of use, combined with multiple features important for Internal Audit/SOX work, such as controls and documents testing platform, outreach to stakeholders to perform periodic controls and provide evidence needed for testing, connectivity to other enterprise applications.

Cons

Doesn't provide a good option of cloning existing controls and requires to create new control every time.

Pros

What I like most would be the ease of use. I constantly get feedback from our stakeholders on how easier the system is to navigate.

Cons

What I like least about AuditBoard is the number of bugs and issues. It seems that sometimes things are rolled out before testing, which cause other issues.

Overall, a very positive experience. An incredible product!

Pros

The very efficient & integrated functionality that saves us about 3,000 hours per year of Managers and Directors time. As a former Audit Director/CAE at four companies AuditBoard's product/solution is the product I was waiting for for decades.

Cons

the removal of Issue creation from non-CORE users. This creates an inefficiency throughout Controls and Ops Audit.

Auditboard is an innovative company that is receptive to feedback. The product continues to evolve with the needs of the customer.

Pros

Ease of use for out of the box functionality; do not need to be a technical person to understand how to use the product

Cons

The only con I would highlight is the cost is substantial compared to other products, but the capabilities and level of service make it worth the investment.

We have had a very good experience with AuditBoard. The application has improved our SOX program and they have great customer service.

Pros

AuditBoard has great customer service; they respond to support tickets within 24 hours, but usually it is within hours of when I submit the ticket that I receive a response. It is an intuitive application to use, which makes it easier for training purposes with our end users.

Cons

When you filter in List View in one field, it does not limit the options that are available in the other field drop-downs. It would be nice if the options became limited like it does in Excel when you filter.

AuditBoard has been beneficial for us and we feel they prioritize continuing to enhance their offerings.

Pros

The connection between Audit, SOX, Risk & Compliance. Having a central platform makes it easier for the multiple teams to work together, coordinate, and understand objectives, making collaboration for efficient and effective.

Cons

I wish there was more formatting options in capturing Audit work documentation, like rich text fields - I don't want to put everything in an attached workpaper. I want to make pretty, formatted workpapers directly in the work test page. :)

Overall, my experience with AuditBoard has been highly positive in the two years that I have been a user and administrator. AuditBoard users are highly resourced with the Help Center as well as AuditBoard Academy.

Pros

The AuditBoard platform is highly customizable, which allows our team to tailor the data captured, and thus reportable, in our operational audits and ICFR. In addition, the ability to define multiple issue types and define relevant fields for each type provides for enhanced enterprise reporting and drives consistency.

Cons

Not having the ability to do basic formatting in free text fields is a drawback (bullets, bold, italics, etc.)

Our company experience has been good. If we were to implement again, I would take more time in setting everything up initially.

Pros

Cons

The thing I like the least is the control UID naming. The process/subprocess do not add value to the UID but make is long and complicated to remember.

Pros

It makes day to day auditing a lot more streamlined. I also like the interconnectivity between modules.

Cons

The price has come up substantially, and lately more and more self service is being pushed over former white glove help.

The integrated modules. I like that you can set up controls in 1 place and they can be used by the other modules/users.

Cons

The product is not easily customizable. For example, the policy module cannot be customized to allow the workflow for reviewers to be sequential.

SOX Hub workflow including interface with control owners for documentation and evidence collection; AuditBoard Sync for real time editing of workpapers within the system

Cons

lack of segregated user access at admin level when managing multiple types of activities within one instance; for instance, not being able to restrict access to internal audit workpapers from other admins unless you have IA be the admin for the entire platform

Pros

Lots of solutions for common problems. The help function is very useful as a jumping off point to figure out how to do what I need.

Cons

Some struggles with evolving with changes. We are long time customers and sometime feel behind the ball catching up.

Overall I have had a really positive experience with Auditboard. It's very intuitive and easy to get using the product. Adoption across the organization is pretty quick.

Pros

Auditboard provides a connected platform to track all the risks, testing and compliance required for my company. It's key feature is that it is all in one single platform.

Cons

Depending on how deep you want to dive into it, there are complexities you can enable/disable from a permissions standpoint and access. These do get a little technical and cumbersome.

While selecting the product, I had a great experience with Sales Team (\[sensitive content hidden\]) was an outstanding representative, who understood my needs but most importantly, set my expectations correctly. I would select AuditBoard again!

Pros

AuditBoard is a robust platform, which follows a well-thought methodology but it is flexible and adaptable at the same time. It meets my requirements.

Cons

The implementation process was complex but we made it through. It was performed by a third party (RSM), who was outstanding. However, it took us a while to complete the project.

The people we work with directly are great. We have had some issues with lack of timely or complete responses from tickets submitted with problems.

Pros

auto-save is great. I do like the easy of customizing as well.

Cons

some areas are overly complex (permissions) and some are too basic (formatting in fields). It seems like the development group has a lot of great software engineers, though may be missing human factors and user community involved with the design and testing.

Overall my experience has been positive. I used AuditBoard at my last company and was an advocate for implementing AuditBoard at my current company that managed the SOX program in Google Sheets. AuditBoard helps limit administrative tasks, assist with version control issues and influence control owners to take ownership of their RCM.

Pros

Onboarding stakeholders and control owners to AuditBoard is streamlined since the UI is user friendly. Users outside of the IA team are able to quickly navigate to the RCM, PBC and certification page.

Cons

The complicated backend process to link new IPE records to controls.
