We use it to automate requests that would normally get lost and buried in emails. The ability to share support with external auditors has been crucial. Cons I would like to see improvements in the "Files" sections as I often have troubles adding what I need. Pros Auditboard support has been super helpful in setting up functions, rolling forward audits, closing SOX programs. Cons Report generating can be easier/more comprehensive. Sometimes I need to generate multiple reports for the information I need, or I need to generate a report to build another report to get the information I need. Our Team has found its a smooth transition from the manual work to the meaningful GRC tool. We can focus on creating survey templates, automated evidence provided by frontline users, follow up status updates much more effiencetly. The alignment between teams is so much easier through ABI dashboard. Cons Overall I like the application and all the new feature it rolled out. U will love ot have a better ROI. It was very users for our employees to use globally with little to no training needed. Cons Reports - the out of the box dashboards and reports are not helpful. The only way they are useable are through an API with PowerBI. Today, I am at their annual conference in California, and I can't say enough wonderful things about \[sensitive content hidden\] , Senior Manager, in Customer Success. We were at breakfast and \[sensitive content hidden\] shared information with us about the weekly office sessions (virtual) that we can attend to learn more about the product. He answered all our questions related to the new features in AuditBoard and even discussed the new SOXHUB Admin Certificate. So excited to do that too. AuditBoard - if you are reading this, \[sensitive content hidden\] is an asset to your company! Pros The product is very user-friendly, version control is very valuable, and each year new features are rolled out. Cons I would like to see documents open on the same page. For example, to see the issue details open on the side of the page and still see the control info page open. Reason for choosing AuditBoard We wanted one "source of truth" for both Ops and SOX audits. The other tools did one well and one poorly but AB can manage both well. I love how modern it is both aesthetically and in functionality. The user-friendliness of it from a control or process owner standpoint is unmatchable. Pros I love that Auditboard is so user friendly for process/control owners. Everything is laid out step-by-step and easy to use. Workstream is such a great functionality too - our PBC requests went from a very manual and not well tracked process to easily repeatable and understood throughout the organiztion. Cons As an administrator, I've found there are a lot of tricky functionality steps to take. Once you know them, it's very simple and makes sense, but to first start out knowing nothing there is a learning curve. For instance, adding a new control simply adds it to a control listing in settings and there is a separate step to add the control to the control/testing environment. I've noticed that you cannot drag folders to replicate them within Auditboard, and file names cannot be the same. This makes the process to finish testing a workpaper very manual. It's very customizable, and there are sooo many opportunities for automation. I love it! Cons AuditSync can use some improvements. Sometimes it will say it has saved, but it does not. The customer support is top notch and any issues we raise are resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, there is so much training available to help guide you if you are new to the tool. Pros I think I enjoy how user friendly the system is. I came from a public accounting company and the layout of AuditBoard made a lot of sense and everything clicked for me shortly. Cons I wouldn't say that this is something that I don't like about AuditBoard itself, but I work on GITC, and I feel like I may not be able to utilise the full functionality of AuditBoard. We have many systems that are tested as part of a single control and it can make it tough to utilise all of the different features that I think are helpful, but just would not make sense to use from a GITC perspective. We are still in early stages of implementation and there is definitely more work to be done to fully benefit from the tool Pros Software is very intuitive to use. Implementation team was very helpful during initial phases. Documenting and reviewing workpapers is much more efficient than it was using our previous system. Cons System seems to time out frequently without warning. Additionally, we have had issues with access and have been unable to realize as much efficiency as we would like. September 30, 2023 5.0 Very flexible answers to risk and management issues. Visualization keeps me in control. It is absolutely an industrious tool. Pros It all trickles down to the basic audit and risk management. If well used, AuditBoard will do the job for you. Matters concerning compliance are well handled with the weight they deserve. For the software, it is basically easy to use. Nothing about it is complicating. Cons I give credit where it deserves. AuditBoard gives it all especially to me as a head of audit in a big organization full of responsibility. I've created tickets with their IT team when I need help and will usually get a response same-day. Pros The dashboards which allow you to view status across businesses. Cons These were occasional glitches with uploading documentation, but I was able to create a ticket with IT and the team resolved this issue after I recorded my screen and recreated the issue for them.
