All users can fumble their way around the platform without any real training and still figure everything out. Cons Moderate inconvenience items: The archiving file (PY) are not as easy to navigate (a lot of fields are missing in the overall view and you have to click into each individual control to see the fields). The tool requires an excel plug-in, AuditBoard Sync, which requires individual installation on each machine, and requires the user to close out of all Microsoft Products to install. The install fails if files are open. Can be a real headache for IT departments. Review Source SB Stacey B. Pros SOXHub has been a significant improvement to our overall SOX management. It has centralized our program, reduced administrative burden, and allowed the team to focus more hours on areas of true value. Cons Some areas that were missing have been added during recent roll outs. Looking forward to using new functionality. Pros Allowed us to have a 95% travel free SOX audit especially when it the world closed down during the pandemic. Three years of remote auditing with Auditboard and MS Teams. However, after going to the Audit and Beyond conference and getting some great face to face discussions, I am very hopeful that our experience will shift to being very positive. We look forward to connecting and learning how to maximize our AuditBoard products. We sense a good shift in the tides with AuditBoard. Pros AuditBoard allows for great organization of audit details year over year. We love the issue tracking and it's easy functionality. Cons Our implementation was a challenge, we never really felt confident in the product we were using. We were not educated enough on how OpsAudit and SOXHub should be utilized. We've submitted simple suggestions but have not received good feedback or seen them implemented. It seems as though our requests for assistance are closed with sending us to AuditBoard university instead of a person helping explain something. The support is great we usually hear back right away and overall it has really helped us a team. Our CAE never used our old tool but with AB and the ease of use hes actually using it Pros It is very easy to use and customise based on our needs. We love that you can bulk update fields and export anything for reports. Cons We are looking to create an audit plan within the tool and attach to entities right now its all separate. This causes issues as the company grows in size and implements new controls, and makes the cost higher as we grow. There is a high level of customization that allows companies to make the product work for their strategy. Cons The permission matrix is very complex. As an administrator, I spend a lot of time trying to configure permissions to frame the access I want different levels of users to have. I am grateful for the ability to edit permissions. However, there is a list of 2k+ permissions that are not always easy to identify as the one that impacts the actions I want to implement.
