I like how the dashboard gives me everything I need immediately, it updates in seconds. I also like the level of detail that is available. I am an analyst and its clear that I can go down to the individual data level. Cons I am not sure why some emails are not being sent. I felt they were a dishonest company that lies about its emailing stats. They have incompetent and barely trinaed tech support, and dealing with the Sales manager is like talking to a brick wall of dishonesty Pros At first, I liked the ability to cold email. But then, it stopped working. Cons Elastic Email has some of the worst trained tech support agents I've ever worked with. People who can't read or process questions. Sometimes you submit a ticket and you get a response that is not remotely related to the issue. Reason for choosing Elastic Email We didn't we started using MailJet and Maailerlite and we cancelled all subscriptions to Elastic Email after a data breach that cost us $2500, and they assumed no responsibility. They were the first emailing service I chose long term after a lot of research -and at price point of $10/month for unlimited emails, it was exactly what my biz needed at that point, and what the doctor ordered. Emails are delivered reliably and the service itself is easy to set up and use. The only minor issues I sometimes had with their product was that advance payment wasn't possible - however, I'm sure they're working on a way to get that in there as well! Their customer service is excellent, and the product overall is value for mony and easy to set up and use. Couldn't have asked for more from Elastic Email - I no longer use their service (for now) - but might well return at somepoint in the future! Pros Ease of sending emails, setting up campaigns (both one time and recurring) - easy to add contacts, and integrate the web form into websites as well. Cons The template maker could use some improvement, a bit slow at times plus perhaps not the most ideal in terms of how it's set up - but given all the pros Elastic Email has otherwise, I'm loathe to call it a "con". Its just constructive criticism from my end in terms of how an already excellent product could be further improved. Repeatedly get rude, canned or totally irrelevant responses. In trying to get answers to all the errors in the logs (for a clean list I have used for years before Elastic) the Elastic reps repeatedly stated that the issue was "your contacts don't want to receive your emails." This is just frustration, not problem solving. Pros Elastic is supported by my Cloudways server Cons Terrible IP reputations. My list is tailored and clean. I had no problem sending to this list before. Since switching to Elastic I have had bounces, throttling, greylisting, blocking, etc. I hired a deliverability expert who looked at the logs and said Elastic sends from IP's with low reputation and my deliverability is affected by that. Tracking and dashboards are really easy to use and have a lot of information Cons I could not found the place to input custom fields on the contact or put personalize fields into the email, I am only able to add standard fields into them. I don't know how reputation is calculated, but you can drop really easily which will cause further problem when sending emails. Since 2018th we went through multiple improvements. It is worth checking Elastic Email again and give us a second chance. I use it as an add-on for an add-on and I actually get a lot of errors and I'm not sure my emails are being delivered. Cons This should be a complement to some bulk email manager. Well, 3 support tickets, all of it received can replies even if the original ticket was answering all the requests that were in the can reply. Bad service, bad company.
