Pros

Sage x3 is great for managing online stores, stock and orders, very good for traceability and thus improving efficiency in operations.Sage 300 is good for small and medium businesses

Cons

Sage x3 is too complex on initial setupSage 300 has some limitations for the advanced features

A great tool

Pros

It is feature-rich and meets most standard business needs. The excellent ability to customize the application makes it more adaptable to individual business experiences and expectations. Both Sage X3 and Sage 300 when it is well implemented can be such an amazing solution.

Cons

When it comes to customization, it's not the most friendly. Having to work with a language like 4GL can be a pain in the neck. There are fewer resources available for beginners of the language to get started with and it's indeed a very serious one based on experience.

Originally, it was a very efficient way to get an e-commerce website for our business. It just has not kept pace with the industry standards.

Pros

We have never had an issue with security; the website syncs with our very large inventory of items; it is fairly clean and simple to use when it comes to the basics of category and page set up.

Cons

Due to the large number of SKU's the site loads very slowly. There is no way to generate a site-wide performance or image size report to see if some pages could be optimized. There is no separate editor for mobile mode. No plug-ins for abandoned cart or other standard e-commerce apps. No easy way to see what new / updated skins might be available. Making changes is often a custom request process done by coders in New Zealand but screened by the sales office in Canada, so there's little direct communication with the team building the site. Virtually no customer service or effort made to make the experience better. 5 years in we're pretty much paying a hefty monthly hosting fee with very little communication.
