Pros: The BrightMove team is always available to answer any questions you have and solve any problems, their customer service is excellent. In addition, we've been working with them for about 4 years now, and they are continually striving to enhance the ATS platform and add improved functionality and speed. BrightMove is a great value. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Pros: User friendly, easy to learn and train others on the system. Easy to add candidates and clients in to the system.

Cons: no payroll or accounting function with our version. The live chat is cumbersome when there is a problem. I'd rather talk to a live person.

Pros: Extremely customizable, especially vs. higher priced software. Have easilu been able to run the various reports that I need for metrics.

The Customer Support is very fast with a response. Available by online chat with literally no wait time.

Cons: Can get lost in the options at times.

Pros: Functionality, search capability, feature request are just a few of the positives. This product will make you more effective, more efficient and truly more capable at whichever side of the Placement, Staffing and /or Hiring side of the employment equation you reside. I have used many of the well known and top rated products in 20+ years of both Search and Corp Talent Acquisition. Brightmove belongs at the top of the list!

Overall: Streamlining of processes, ease of use, efficiency of search functions, more effective at daily task at hand!
The name Brightmove is not as well recognized when I recommend it. Probably just as well that more of my competitors have not found this tool.

Comments: When there is an issue and site has billing issue for whatever reason - the ATS is pulled and then when issue resolved it takes a while to retrieve data. Jobs are sent to be posted and they never appear on job boards.

Pros: It tracks applicants and it allows for parsing of resumes and posting of jobs on the site. That's it.

Cons: Customer and training Svcs is limited - the automatic external postings don't get posted except one.

Works for what I need.

Pros: What I like most about the software is being able to figure out new tools and functions so easily. The system is very user friendly and the support staff is always available to help out when needed!

Cons: What I like least about Brightmove is that at times it can be slow. There seems to be system errors randomly and sometimes it doesn't seem compatible with Google Chrome.

Pros: I like that there is a chat feature that allows you to talk to an agent whenever you are having issues.

Cons: It seems because it is a newer software, there is outages a lot more than I am used to. Even though outages happen, you always get an email explaining what is going on and when it will be fixed.

Pros: The ease of navigation and ability to enter pertinent information about applicants manuallymakes it seamless.

Cons: There are times no one answers the phones during business hours. This is hugely important for new users. I honestly felt lost ...

Pros: I love that as a recruiter I can keep all of my past and present candidates information organized. This really helps me to do my job to the best of my ability.

Cons: Sometimes there are software glitches but that is true of any software. doesn't happen very often!!!

Pros: You can easily parse resumes and create profiles. We have a chrome extension added to this site (Text Recruit) that allows us to text from Brightmove and stores the conversation history that is super helpful. It would be great if Brightmove had similar built in features without having to manage a separate software.

Cons: Refreshing the jobs is cumbersome. The website is less user friendly with too many options that we don't use. The reporting is less useful...if I want to pull all candidates in submitted status I just want to click a button and not run a full report. Better yet, I would like that report to have hyperlinks to the candidate's profile or job so I can work off of the report.

Pros: I enjoy systems that are user friendly especially in the everyday hustle and bustle, sometimes you do not have time to sit and figure out long processes.

Cons: Really there are not any cons however if I had to think of one..... With any system there are always scheduled maintenance (when the sites are down), usually they come in the most inconvenience time.

Brightmove is efficient and user friendly.

Pros: The transparency and efficiency BM provides. I am able to accurately do my job thanks to this system.

Cons: I feel it could be upgraded in terms of alerts, new candidates dashboard is not always accurate. I believe BM could be even better!

Pros: Intuitive and well organized. No matter what you need to do in Brightmove, the answer is either obvious or just a live chat away.

Cons: The reporting leaves a little to be desired. Other ATS systems I have used allow you many more options.

Overall: Manages everything I do throughout my day. Outlook paired with Brightmove is all you need to recruit.

I come from PeopleSoft and BrightMove is by far easier to use.

Pros: Simple and easy to use and they are constantly tweeking the software for a better overall experience.

Cons: Search results can be frustrating at times. Searching by internal ID on "all site" or "everything-internal ID" doesn't always give me results I need. At those times I have to search by "client" and find the job attached to the internal ID that way.

Pros: It is really useful that you can easily access what you recently saw, either recent positions, managers, candidates.
The option to parse the resumes is also a great pro for BrightMove, if you have to manually add a candidate, the system would do it for you by just attaching it.
Also you can modify your Dashboard to show only what you really need and want to see, for example your open jobs, so you won't miss any.

Cons: Something I could say can be better about BrightMove, is the Power Search tool, I have to say this one works, I just think it can be refined a little bit. The filters could be better, they could be more specific so the search would be more accurate and would show only the information requested to the system.

BM is easy to use, when the system is down it is only down for little bit

Pros: Provides a powerful search capability helping in reducing the manual overhead.
Easy to provide work reports to the senior management by having the capability of reporting tools.
The enhanced calendar feature helps to review the key appointments and assigned tasks.

Cons: Some of the available features available employ a tedious approach and no of steps are involved.
Do not provide integration to other country specific 3rd party sourcing data providers.

Overall: A great help in managing my staffing needs.

Pros: (1) Easy to use (2) Can run ads through ATS--so don't have to pay separately
(3) Friendly and knowledgable staff (4) Brightmatch feature is a winner

Cons: Don't have 24/7 customer service and name recongnition is lacking--most
of my clients never heard of Brightmove

Overall: Am a long-time user of Brightmove and am always satisfied. Have used another ATS and this one is superior. I can run and ad at anytime which has helped me make placements.
The Brightmatch feature is a winner!

Pros: The ease of use and accessible customer support

Cons: You may have go through a couple hoops to get to the things you want.

Overall: The only other Applicant Tracking Software that I could compared to was an ATS that was in development.
Contacting customer support is very easy--I'm usually one click away (chat).
There are some things I think would make the overall ATS easier, but it's nothing major.

Comments: The support, functionality and ease of use is unreal. I find another way to leverage this platform everyday. It really does everything we need and much more. It's great that the end users impact the product road map and contribute to the features being developed and released. Staff is easy to work with and responsive in addition to providing solutions and not just answers. Strongly recommend this product to anyone in talent acquisition, recruiting or hiring.

Pros: Easy to navigate and keep notes on candidates. I like how my large HR team can all be in the system at once.

Cons: Sometimes I would like to be able to see notes and statuses on a candidate within a specific job however it forces me to go to the candidates profile instead.

Comments: Many times I was not able to access the candidates that I submitted, so I always email customer support and they are pretty good at getting back to me with the solution.

Comments: I have used many ATS , but I find BM, one of the best. Great support, easy to use dashboard. Easy to move candidates through each stage of the hiring process.Each user's dashboard is customizable so they can view the windows they prefer to look regarding open jobs, saved searches, candidate pipeline, etc.

Comments: BrightMove is very easy to use and helps to streamline my process. The customer support live chat feature is wonderful and allows me to continue to work instead of staying on the phone with a customer service rep. There are a couple of features that I would like to see come back (hourglass resume function, being able to print out placement details). Overall it works very well for my recruiting needs.

Comments: Keeping track of communication with up to hundreds of candidates for multiple positions at a time is made easier thanks to BM. It helps us organize our feedback for every candidate both individually and as a a team. BM is also very easy to navigate.

Comments: I really felt great about the old Brightmove and really love the new phone number feature, but overall I have found some glitches and problems with the new update. A lot of the time when I split my browser to just one side of the screen I always receive an error warning, which is an annoyance, but nothing too drastic. I think the new way to paste resumes is less desirable. There should be an option to view the resume in a bigger screen rather than the puny screen that it is currently on. A separate window option would probably fix that.

Overall: I would love to see things added in like integration with Gmail, the ability to set up client interviews with candidates inside the system and sourcing folders attached to each position so you can see the sourcing activity for each role. It would be much easier to track the number of candidates and their stage in the process flow like this: project ownership, days live, how many ads run, sourced candidates, candidates applied, candidates phone interviewed by recruiter, resumes forwarded to hiring manager, candidates (first, second, third) interview with hiring manager and then all the way down to offer. We end up doing so much work outside of the system and not populating relevant notes or emails because the integration isn't available. Ideally, I would like to find a system that makes instant visibility easy and tracks everything right inside (like simple interview scheduling). There is a system out there that does this, but I have a conflict of interest with the company and am not in a position to subscribe. If I did, I'd move over in a second.

Comments: I have used a number of recruiting systems this by far is the best. you can track workflow and analyze your performance. many items are customizable. very easy to use easy to input candidates, great search capabilities etc.

Pros: unlimited storage capacity, you can track email, send mass emails, email resumes directly to the system that are parsed by the system checked for duplicate candidates etc, customizable dashboard for individual users. automatic posting of job ads

Pros: The system is fast , profiles have the necessary information to deal recruiters. I think improvements could be made in relation to that sometimes when one is in median income of a candidate the system does not work. No thanks I'm done

Cons: Sometimes its kind of confused. Sometimes profiles have irrelevant information . It has many options to write information when one is getting the info that sometimes is not relevant.

Recommendations to other buyers: I think the system needs a renovation , looks very simple compared to other HR systems . In aesthetic restoration it is needed . In relation to content , the system will have many options to time that information is entered, which are unnecessary .

Pros: The customer service is great. It is very easy to figure out, user friendly. I like that your jobs go out to free job sites.

Cons: You have to go through several unnecessary steps to put employees on an order. You have to do the set up on your own, example setting up triggers to change someone from available to working, and then back to available when the job ends. It is hard to get everything set up to flow correctly. The system seems to run slow, a lot of wasted time waiting for things to come up. When you do a search and pull up a person, when you go back to your search, it somehow goes way back to a search you did earlier, so you have to type in the search criteria over and over.

Recommendations to other buyers: Research the customer service, check references, understand it will take a little time to get it all set up.

Pros: The vendor has excellent customer service. The product provided is decent for the price you pay. The functionality makes it easy to train new employees on. Searches are easy to maneuver and the customization for this system is very flexible. I would recommend this to a start up company.

Cons: I least like the following: Implementation is lacking: While there are tools in place to teach you how to put triggers into place unless you understand technology on what I'd describe as an intermediate level they may not function the way you'd like them to. The owner of our company stated that when they purchased the system for use any customization beyond the standard template software had to be completed on their own. When I started working with Brightmove there were many triggers that did not function the way they were intended to for what the owner needed. Simple operator error that I was able to fix, but it's not exactly simple for a person not as familiar with some of the tech intel. Data Manipulation: Data Analytics is hard to gain with this system accurately. There are multiple ways to manipulate the data and therefore makes it almost impossible to set tiered goals for the staff as the data is then not broken down completely. The numbers can be spoofed due to this oversight.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would look carefully at it before deciding it's right. The price is very fair for a start up company and the system is definitely easy to navigate. However, there are some downsides as well. The downsides, however make it worth the price you pay for it as a more polished system might be slightly more expensive. I think that we have stuck with this system for so long due in great part to the fact that our company was able to make it work and the customer service is above par. However, as we are moving into a mid level range we are definitely open to other options now.

Overall: I have setup up Recruiting Process for multiple companies and the one ATS that I have used in doing this is Bright Move. BM covers every aspect of tracking Candidates, Programs and Vacancy Positions.
It¿s easy to navigate and if you do have an issue the Technical Staff will walk every step with you. Bright Move is reasonably price and does everything and more than the bigger ATS Systems.

Recommendations to other buyers: I prefer Bright Move over the bigger ATS Systems

Pros: The way it gathers by a req number rather than just title.

Cons: It seems to have a very hard time getting applicant names with a PDF. Causing a lot of unknowns in our pipeline

Overall: It does what I need it to do but I think the interface can be a little bit better. I never had an issue with navigating around.

Pros: Allowing you to bounce between accounts easily, recognizable tabs for quick clicking, and overall color scheme keeps the experience bright and engaging,

Cons: A few useless tabs that take up space and could be used for better information gathering. The Notes tab does not have a time snap- so for a new recruiter knowing to bounce between the two can be confusing and irritating. Notes and activities are essentially the same. The tab with the graph has absolutely no use. If graphs were clickable and gave legitimate information, it may be useful.

Overall: Thus far I have had a pretty painless experience. The provided template emails help for a non-seasoned recruiter and the ATS is very easy to just jump right in to !

Recommendations to other buyers: Watch the training videos and don't be afraid to jump in! ATS is for any recruiter level.

Pros: I love how responsive their Help Desk team is whenever I have a problem or question that I need assistance with. They are always so quick to respond and work hard to solve my issues.

Cons: I dislike that the graphs on the dashboard page are not dynamic

Pros: This vendor/product is very user friendly. I was trained very well and I am able to navigate around the system pretty well.

Cons: Sometimes it is slower than I am clicking. Also, sometimes in the middle of working in Bright Move the system logs me out and I have to log back in to loose everything I was working on.

Pros: I like using this applicant tracking system best because it allows you to manage your candidates in your own unique way. They allow us to customize for each client's different needs and process.

Cons: It takes some time to figure out how you want to use the system (so many different ways to get the same thing) but once you settle into your rhythm it becomes easy.

Recommendations to other buyers: If something doesn't click for you, ask for help! They have a great IT task force and usually there is another way to complete the task anyway.

Cons - it has a lot of down time, and the search functions are pretty terrible. Reporting is convoluted and takes a long time to download. Duplicate entries are plaguing us as a company - it doesn't have a great candidate / job / company duplicate monitoring system.

Recommendations to other buyers: Be sure to be careful of creating duplicates for certain things like clients. We have so many duplicates and it is sometimes hard to figure out which one is currently active. Even the candidates which have duplicate prevention somehow end up with duplicates.

Comments: Working for a national Recruitment Firm, I have used many different ATS systems over the past few years. Brightmove is my personal favorite. I enjoy the simplicity of navigating my candidates through their dispositions, and having the flexibility to edit sections. Reporting functions are simple and beneficial as well. Customer Service response time could use some improvement.

Comments: I have worked with several different ATS's over the past 15 years and have found Brightmove to be the most flexible to various business recruitment needs and functions. Not only is it the most versatile, it is very easy to learn and use on a regular basis. I would recommend Brightmove to any organization that is in need of an Applicant Tracking Software.

Comments: I like the overall ease of pasting resumes. Sometimes the search can get iffy when searching for people, but that can normally be resolved by changing the search criteria. I wish it would be easier to search for phone numbers in the software, maybe one format to make it easier?

My experience has been pretty good so far :)

Comments: The system is fairly easy to use. However, On several occasions when sending mass E-mails, people who I had not selected were also E-mailed. I do not know if this is an anomaly associated with Outlook or Brightmove, but I have had coworkers somehow receive E-mails I sent through brightmove meant for candidates when there was no reason they should have recieved it. This has happened several times

Comments: The ATS is extremely is easy to use and can be customized to your liking. You can easily see from a glance where in the recruiting process an applicant is. You can keep track of all activities, notes, documents, and emails from your applicants and clients. There are email templates that greatly reduce the amount of time spent creating emails. Some of the cons are: the power search box with words to include doesn't seem to weed out enough candidates; perhaps I need to learn how to do this but it doesn't seem very easy. There isn't a payroll function with this ATS.

Pros: I appreciate the ease of sharing candidate information with my coworkers. Fast, simple, reliable information sharing has made our work measurably more efficient.

Cons: I do think that the customer care could be a little more responsive. On the rare occasions I've needed help, I found it a bit challenging to get my questions answered.

Recommendations to other buyers: Be sure to set up procedures that are company standards for using this program; it really helps with transparency of information if everyone is using the pages and options in the same way.

Pros: Easy and affordable. We have looked at several tracking systems over many years for recruiting and have stayed with Brightmove for familiarity, good ease of use, and near constant up time.

Cons: No problems really. I have requested one enhancement to search, more than once, that has not made the list yet.

Recommendations to other buyers: Very good ATS, most affordable I know of, for smaller agencies like ours.

I feel that Brightmove is a beneficial tool for the office.

Pros: I like that I can easily pull up clients or employees in the system!

Cons: It shuts down a lot so we have to wait to get into it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try Brightmove...it's worth it! Very user friendly!

Comments: Brightmove has been our recruiting backbone for 8+ years. It is the easiest to use, and most affordable, we have found for our size agency. We stick with it for those same qualities not being surpassed yet.

Pros: customer service and platform functionality has stepped it up...Wasn't as smooth as it is now....

Cons: No addins for word, outlook. these addins would take out many steps of entering a new candidate or activity

Recommendations to other buyers: The fact that you can customize your workflow, activity catagories and resources make this a great tool and NOW, BM is a necessity

Comments: Inexpensive option for an ATS for staffing agencies and contract houses - It's not designed to be a corporate ATS solution. Overall search features work well. There have been several occasions that the site was down in the middle of a work day which impacts productivity.

We love brightmove and the ease of the system!

Comments: I have a great experience working with the ATS system. I like the ease to use it, and that it is self explanatory most of the time. I don't like that sometimes activities like sending emails won't show up immediately. I also would like to be able to change stage in the candidates status more accessible. Like once the position a has been closed it is hard to change the status of the candidate to consider him again and start screening him. After order is closed or the position has been filled.

My experience has been pretty good so far, not perfect, but it works

Pros: I like the dashboard features - and the job aggregator with Indeed, they have excellent customer service, and I also do like the new opportunities feature, which is a way of keeping track of prospects and jobs I am prospecting right on the client portal

Cons: the search feature, keywords, how to set up the search string, etc. I'd like to figure out a way to track the candidates in the pipeline;stages - perhaps it had to so with the way I set it up, I would like to see this and the data that can be instantly viewable on the dashboard

Recommendations to other buyers: determine first what features are most important and see if they exist or can be customized for you.
