Pros When a major client ($4b annual turnover) engaged me to design and build their new website, an essential requirement was a robust, flexible, and customizable store locator. With over 40 stores in Australia at the time, and likely double that number 12 months out, I had to choose the right software partner. After thoroughly testing three other solution providers, Store Locator Widgets quickly rose to the top for its design flexibility, robust admin features, and clean site integration. Like many software solutions, you don't realize how much the details matter until you get a long way into a project. On that front, I'm happy to report that no matter what we threw at them, they delivered. Ours was probably an edge case due to our complex requirements, and most users will be delighted with the software out of the box but know that Store Locator Widgets is a powerful, robust, and highly customizable solution. Most importantly - as fellow web designers know - technical support is critical, and on that front, these guys are just about the best I've experienced in my 27 years at this game. Tom, in particular, is outstanding. I'm so happy I took the time to test the major offerings. I'm confident we ended up with the best. Cons A few more published CSS elements in their help guide would be great for the super fussy amongst us, but I understand they're on the way. Shopify-Native and external. This one has the best features. I really like to work with Catagories AND Filters. And its possible to make it multilingual. If you have several websites where you use the same Store Locator its very good choice because if you use shopify like me, you don't have setup and buy on every platform a new app. - Cutsomer Service is great! - really fast reply and able to help with special requests. Pros StoreLocatorWidgets Is highly customizable: you can edit the layout styling, localize with language specific labels and filters, add and order and choose to display fields both in the front end view and in the admin. Import/export of stores Is simple, flexible and superquick. Addition of the locator to your website is also easy and flexible. You can select zoom level, preset/hidden filters, choose initial position and zoom level and language. Store submission and editing Is also easy and well organized. Stores can send their submission, admin can review and approve and generare a link for the store to be able to change its data autonomously. Last but definitely not least, customer service Is top level! Both the customer care and developing team are available on the live chat, they reply quickly and guide you through if you need help configuring, they solved minor issues in a very short time and even made a custom form for me! Cons None so far. I had 0 problems. Easy to configure and to test. Switched from [MetaLocator](https://www.capterra.com/p/140183/MetaLocator/) I wasn't allowed to manage data directory. Updates took a loro of time and customizations seemed quite limiterò.
