We had no expectation to stop using this platform as the customer service and platform itself are awesome. I cannot recommend this platform enough for any brand new businesses that are shipping in large volume or need help keeping track of inventory. Pros How detailed the orders could be given the filters and back end work to ensure we are seeing what we want. Tagging orders is seamless. Customer support is good but most times they are not able to provide a solution at the time of the issue. Orders show every activity and help tell a story in the case an order has an issue and we need to find the root cause. Cons Filters being set/adjusted and removed can cause some confusion. Lots of clicking to get where you need as a view. Long wait time on EOD manifest printing. Adding new listings takes a lot more time, sometimes even an extra 30 min/1hr of time to ensure the listings came through and look as they were entered in shopify. Review Source SH Shawna H. Until QuickBooks Online figures out how to add more pricing within their system, add locations for inventory, and add images to invoices, Skulabs does fill that need. The only reason I give it 4 Stars is because of the whole syncing issue we have with QuickBooks online, but nothing is perfect. Pros It is the best work around for inventory with QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks online inventory isn't the best, we needed a way to sell inventory by both wholesale and retail, we also needed an invoice that showed our inventory images. SkuLabs filled in where QuickBooks failed. Also, the shipping feature with EasyPost, how wonderful it is to ship within the system, another area where QuickBooks Online fails. Cons When inventory syncs over to QuickBooks Online, it causes a huge shrinkage mess in our QuickBooks P&L, we haven't quite been able to figure out why, but what happens is whenever an order is synced, or the inventory syncs, it creates inventory adjustments every few minutes. This resulted in a nightmare to our shrinkage and we simply had to disconnect the inventory sync from QuickBooks relying on orders, purchasing and manually transferring inventory inside QuickBooks online to maintain inventory control within QuickBooks. Not having to wait an hour plus for updates is wonderful. Pros It has realtime updates of the inventory levels as they are changed. No having to wait for the upload. Cons Sometimes the system glitches (esp on the app) and the inventory doesn't get updated correctly. This happens rarely. August 11, 2021 5.0 Pros Let me say first that I've used ShippingEasy (they used to have an inventory tool too) and SkuVault. SkuLabs has so far been far superior to both. The support was EXCELLENT, over the top good. Their chat support is always on top of it and their support people know everything about their tool. The tool is really intuitive and solved a couple problems I didn't even know I had. It's really intuitive. Cons I know they are still working on accounting for lead times for the purchase order system, at the moment it's a bit cumbersome to set up. They are helping me with it however. Pros The thing that drove us to SkuLabs was that we could manipulate the picking process to suit our packing needs. However, using it I found out that there are tons of features hidden behind the scenes that we might not ever use. One of the areas that SkuLabs has really stood out has been in their customer service. If I have a question on how something works, there will be someone answering the question within an hour, and if something is broken, it will be fixed within the day. Cons With all of these features, some of the menus can get pretty convoluted. One of our concerns for the people using this feature is that they can still ship an item even if all of the items on the list haven't been scanned in to ship. One of the areas that we have really had to customize heavily is the ability to short an order from the fulfillment software and to capture payment. From all of our research into fulfillment software plans, these features were almost along with scanner verification of an order were not present.
