Overall, I have had a good experience with FACTS. The Reports are my only real complaint, that and not having two-way communication with students and parents as an option. These are not issues anywhere near big enough to sway me to try something else. As far as Student Information systems go, FACTS is a fantastic option.

Pros

I enjoy all of the student and family information it collects and how user-friendly it is once everything is entered and set up. Managing records for the school is easy because it is all kept in one place. Customer support has always been very helpful when needed.

Cons

I think my least favorite aspect is the Reports. While some of them are excellent, there are a number that feel a bit clunky and difficult to extract meaningful information from. For example, I have not been able to find a simple attendance report that shows an overall number of each attendance code for a particular student, class, or the school as a whole. Generally, I can only extract raw data, with no ability to export to Excel or anything to try and drill it down. Additionally, the Graduation Plan Audit format is cumbersome to read. Those are the two sticking out in my mind.

Overall I am a big fan of FACTS. It is super manageable and user friendly. The information is centralized and secure.

Pros

I love how easy it is to send out communication to families, staff, students and parents. I also love the student information management system and how user friendly it is. The platform really helps me easily provide information in an effective and efficient way.

Cons

I do not love that I get a ton of emails after sending out a newsletter that they were not delivered because someone was out of town or out of office. It did not always do that, but in the last year or so it has become a new thing.

Overall, it has been fairly simple to navigate and has been less of a learning curve than other SIS I have used. It has been built well for office, administration, and advisors to build what they need and mostly supports easy use for teachers. I would love to see new permissions and report/viewing options to better support those whose role is to provide support in addition to what classroom teachers can provide. If this gap can be filled, I would easily say this is the most effective SIS available and would be quick to recommend it to any school.

Pros

The system has improved greatly in support for school management on the whole. Attendance, family information, individual grades, and emailing have become simpler, although email can still be confusing. The gradebook is fairly clear and easy for students and families to access quickly, connecting parents, teachers, and students.

Cons

As an academic coach/academic support teacher, I have to pull grades repeatedly to see trends for individuals and for each grade-level overall. There are currently very few ways to pull this information quickly in one place, adding numerous steps and utilization of data recording outside of Renweb, which is not ideal for security or efficient access to data that is needed to build better support for students. Even though the kids I work with in my role are not considered sped students, these issues would also create barriers for schools trying to support those students as well. I would love to see better viewing security rights built, and easier access to gradebook scores and trends across multiple grade-levels through reports.

We have had a great experience with FACTS and we use it extensively for all our school needs - SIS, FACTS Financial, FACTS App, website, etc. We also use many of the integration products and love how they work together!

Pros

FACTS is very easy to use for all groups - admin, faculty, parents and students! The customer service is excellent - and I love the extended evening hours.

Cons

I can't say that I have any specific cons because anytime I have a question or concern, it is promptly addressed!

I have been using FACTS for seventeen years. The customer support is very good and immediately accessible. Product development is ongoing. With the new FACTSSPACE user voice, the feedback from the support staff is very good.

Pros

Very comprehensive, it performs all of the functions we require from an SIS without the need for external third-party services.

Cons

The reports are very comprehensive. However, the ability to cross-reference different sections of FACTS SIS is very limited. As an example, you cannot cross-reference an Admissions report with a Student Data report.

Overall, FACTS has been a comprehensive solution that mostly meets our needs. There are shortcomings in a few areas but for the price I have not found a comparable one-stop solution.

Pros

FACTS is a comprehensive school management system that has overall functioned well to meet the needs of our preschool-12th grade school. From housing our SIS, facilitating our admissions and enrollment, managing our tuition plans and assistance awards, and serving as a communication hub with an outstanding custom family app, FACTS is the go-to solution for many ACSI schools. Many features are intuitive for the user, and the support we receive from our account manager is outstanding.

Cons

The roadmap for system updates is not clearly communicated to customers and the way in which updates are prioritized has recently been geared toward the parent user experience, rather than the experience of the customer (school) users who work in the system daily. There have been significant issues with the implementation and rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication which have been frustrating, to say the least.

Great! I have had a great experience with FACTS and the \[sensitive content hidden\] Facts team when I have any issues!

Pros

Easy to use, value for money in all parts, user friendly, quick responses, course management is easy to use, the bugs and issues get fixed fast.

Cons

Having no access to help parents with their login information is hard. We used to be able to but after the 2 step authentication we not longer can.

I have been working in schools using FACTS for 9 years and every year I find more and more short cuts to save time, but also to save vital information that I can access in a moment. FACTS constantly strives to update their systems as needs evolve. I love it!

Pros

FACTS is simple to learn and use. They have amazing and available training and support. FACTS systems handle all of the needs of our school, but if you decide to only use a portion of what is available, it still works seamlessly. If there is a bug or an issue, they take the information and work to correct the problem

Cons

Because it is so broad and has so many areas of service, learning all of the functions can take time to become completely at ease.

My overall experience has been very positive, and I would highly recommend FACTS to any school seeking a smooth, streamlined process from application through enrollment. The platform effectively manages tuition, including Grant & Aid, while conveniently housing medical and classroom information all in one place.

Pros

The customer service is outstanding—staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The teaching videos make it easy to refresh my memory on tasks I don’t perform daily but revisit each year. FACTS has truly set us up for success and streamlined many of our school processes. I highly recommend FACTS for both your SIS and Tuition Management system.

Cons

While the FACTS Giving portion could benefit from additional features to support easier donor management, we do appreciate the convenience of having all our information in one centralized platform.

FACTS has been great for our school to keep everything all in one place. Customer service is excellent.

Pros

Customer service and support are great! Anytime I have a question they are quick to answer. I like that FACTS is all-inclusive with everything in one place.

Cons

There are sometimes bugs that need to be worked out with users getting error messages. Several updates/changes which is a good thing but can also be a new learning curve.
