I have had a great experience with FACTS and the \[sensitive content hidden\] Facts team when I have any issues! Pros Easy to use, value for money in all parts, user friendly, quick responses, course management is easy to use, the bugs and issues get fixed fast. It is super manageable and user friendly. The information is centralized and secure. Pros I love how easy it is to send out communication to families, staff, students and parents. I also love the student information management system and how user friendly it is. The platform really helps me easily provide information in an effective and efficient way. Cons I do not love that I get a ton of emails after sending out a newsletter that they were not delivered because someone was out of town or out of office. I love the support and helpful content for admissions. Pros I love the customer support and ease of use. I appreciate that FACTS is always looking for ways to improve and become more efficient. I love the helpful webinars that are often available. Cons I do not like the occasional bugs and issues with the admissions page. It has grown on me, but they have just missed too many opportunities to make the system smooth. Instead, there are too many clicks necessary to complete basic tasks. Pros As a school, our lunch staff likes the ability to have lunch attendance recorded in the morning, but beyond that, there is very little that we have come to like about the system. Cons The dashboard for administrative assistants does not allow for easy attendance management. As a teacher, the Google Classroom integration is VERY clunky and hard to navigate. The fact that the database opens a new tab when you click on an option is very cumbersome and annoying. The overall setup is just poorly designed. Switched from [Infinite Campus SIS](https://www.capterra.com/p/188836/Infinite-Campus/) We left hoping to have an easier, more well designed SIS, but in the end, it really is just as clunky and poorly designed for teachers. We are very happy with the choice we may coming from a different service the prior years. Pros Great service that our school has been using for several years now. If you are on a budget, then FACTS is for you! Cons It isn't the most robust system so if you are a school that needs custom work done on transcripts, etc., the FACTS may not be the best fit. The customer service is also great. The interface is also user friendly. Pros Customer support is amazing and there is always someone available to answer my questions. The interface is also user friendly. Cons What I like least is that the SIS and the Financial side are 2 different it is confusing for families. November 19, 2025 5.0 Overall, FACTS has given us everything we asked for - except the ability to schedule emails to go out. We can schedule text messages, but not emails???? Pros The content and learning throughout the process are second to none. Customer support, whether live or via a bot, is always helpful. Cons Response time (especially for my colleagues) seemed longer than it should. Especially since we are a new client, you would think FACTS would want to ensure we have what we need more quickly. Staff hate it and anything who uses it for any length of time does not like it at all. Except maybe the business office. This is NOT a true SIS. Pros This system is trash. It is cheap, whatever funds you think you are saving is made up for with time lost. NOT a true SIS. Cons Grade communication to parents is terrible, coming from Skyward. Attendence reports do not work at all. No report for behavior exists. Detention tracking is terrible. Cons The system does not communicate well within. Pros Hi, I like that there is a system in place to be able to pay my sons student loans in an efficient manner. Cons It was not the easiest site to navigate at first. Pros I like having an all in one system. We can pull reports, make labels, etc. I can communicate with all parents at once and create smaller classroom groups. Cons It is difficult to sometimes figure out how to pull a report with the things you are looking for. It takes a bit of trial and error to find what you're looking for and sometimes I give up. I also don't like that you can't customize an emergency sheet for each student to get the data on that sheet that I'm looking for and not just a template. Review Source SS Stacy S. There are many benefits to this software...it is not perfect but has many good things Pros Being able to run reports from the Desktop version. They copy into Excel VERY easily to manipulate the data. The new RenWeb1 version is not as easy to use. Cons The new RenWeb1 version that is supposed to be replacing the desktop version. The new version "looks" prettier, but the desktop version which is more database/dos and older looking...yet is easier to work with as an administrator Review Source JK Jonathan K. It is one of the worst user experiences I have ever had. Pros I do not like anything about FACTS except having access to lesson plans for our hybrid homeschool Cons I have been forced to use FACTS since the 20teens when my two older daughters were in school. At that time it was only for financial purposes, and I hated it then. It was cumbersome and difficult to use, and figuring out how the math was done was an exercise in frustration. Fast forward to the mid 20 twenties when my younger sons' school uses it for both class/assignment/grade management and financial management, and I know why I hated it then and still do. The class assignment section is ugly and outdated looking. And now with the financial 'upgrade', we have to login in AGAIN within the website to review the financial portion. I understand from the school that they also can't put in manual changes from their end, so basically everyone is at the mercy of unseen software administrators. Having to pay $25 to pay my balance in full is also really annoying, when I know the school is also paying for the 'privilege' of using the system and being paid. Last year they charged $.85 PER TRANSACTION! To draft money out of my account! So not only do they charge you, but you literally have no option but to give this company your sensitive financial information for them to store 'securely'. I guess? So far so good on that front, but who's to say how long that will last. The app costs as well, in addition to the school paying, and me paying for the privilege of paying tuition, we also have to pay for the app. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Art Teacher Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Renweb" January 15, 2020 4.0 My experience was not very positive as I had to continually help people try to figure out how to do something. Then they would come up with an update and that would all change. Pros I thought the pros of Renweb was that it was a starting point. It had lots of features that you could purchase and lots of options. Cons I think the software was not extremely user friendly. It was hard to navigate and they just needed a UX designer to go in and update thing. There were various versions that people were using that made things complicated. June 30, 2017 5.0 Easy to use and great reporting Pros Our sales team really likes the mobile app and utilize it on a daily basis. Because the mobile app allows them to access our Sales Academy Content Library, they can quickly search and find what they need during a call. They also use the app to capture and share best practices. The other thing that I have to mention is the support, it is the best support we have on any of the software we use. It has been a joy to work with our direct contact and the support team. They are always there and also have helped a lot in suggesting how to use the system to its full capacity. This allows for us to keep all of our student information in one "basket". The cafeteria cash register has completely allowed us to go cashless, which has been wonderful! Cons Keeping up with all the charges and fees can be confusing for our families. We tend to get several calls weekly having to explain what the charges are for. Review Source aB alec B. " July 5, 2017 5.0 Highly scalable and professional platform. Pros Cd2s Platform is very powerful, from a robust LCMS to Simulations and Social Collaboration, all in one system. We don't have to have 3 or 4 different systems to try and accomplish our training needs. Cons They are continually Innovating, so ongoing training is very important. It works, it’s easy, it is supposed to be very secure, and it something that works. Pros So far from the experience I have had with FACTS, is that is it an excellent program for educators and education, tuition management and other forms of management! It’s very in innovative and sun synchronizes well well other programs. Cons The only thing that bother me in general about FACTS or any other platform within Google is the amount of information they have about you and you’re financial and educational histories. The AI is so advanced that they can pin point you to you’re very location at any given time. Same is true most other programming as well. Review Source bS billy S. We've been able to engineer whatever we wanted to achieve with this software. Cons In our case, it's much too costly for what we can generate in returns. I like the fact that there are help buttons on practically every screen. Help desk is fantastic. Cons: Report filtering is very tricky. New program versions do not automatically update--the user has to look for the latest version, rather than receiving a program prompt stating a newer version is available would you like to update?
