Es gibt sehr viele gute Einstellungen die für eine Lernsoftware sehr gut und wichtig sind. Cons Die Art der Installation und Konfiguration. Das es für die Installation kein Web Frontend gibt wäre an für sich o.k. aber es werden so viele Abhängigkeiten benötigt die separat installiert und verknüpft werden müssen macht es sehr schwer für neue Anwender das System überhaupt an´s laufen zu bringen. z.B. das JAVA Server einbinden um Teilnehmerzertifikate zu erstellen ist schlimm. Oder auch dsas hinzufügen von Plugins. Da sollte man sich ein Beispiel an Wordpress z.B. nehmen. Insgesamt ein hochflexibles und empfehlenswertes System. ILIAS bietet zwahlreiche Funktionen zum kooperativen Arbeiten im digitalen Raum, für die Durchführung von E-Prüfungen und die Organisation von Kursen, erleichtern unsere Lehre erheblich. Datenschutz und -sicherheit sowie Barrierearmut sind in den vergangenen Jahren noch wichtiger geworden. Gerade in diesen Bereichen sind wir mit ILIAS sehr zufrieden. Cons Die Usability ist bei manchen Objekten nach wie vor umständlich. Für optisch angsprechende Kurse und Inhalte ist eine gewisse Erfahrung notwendig. Es gibt eine sehr aktive Community. Pros Ein ausgezeichnetes Tool, in dem Nutzer Content nutzen und erzeugen können und das sich für elektronische Prüfungen eignet. Einfache unternehmensweite Bereitstellung von Content. Die Nutzung der Kurse selbst ist einfach und gut. Es können auch Zertifikate für die Teilnahme und Abschluss automatisch erzeugt werden, ebenso wie Lernfortschrittskontrolle. Cons Der Einstieg in ILIAS ist kein Selbstläufer. Es wird eine Schulung empfohlen. Die Administration von ILIAS erfordert etwas Erfahrungswissen. Das Rechtesystem in ILIAS ist sehr mächtig und läßt viele Szenarien zu, was es ideal für Unternehmensanforderungen macht. Cons If you can read German, then you have lots of documentation. Not everything is translated. When users edit a competence profile, it is difficult for them to keep track of their progress. and they have no means to know when they have fulfilled a profile.
