Pros: This app has single-handedly reduced our employee-touch payroll tasks by at least 30% in under a week. Onboarding is super simple. We've traditionally balked at using an app for employee time-keeping because they usually overpromise and underdeliver. We have a unique set of problems with payroll because we track employee drive time and work time separately, and we have to compare employee time with GPS locations of our vehicles. This is because we have crews splitting off from each other all of the time, getting in and out of different trucks, working on different jobs for different customers, etc. We piece it all back together in the office based on sometimes incomplete reports, and this is the FIRST time we've ever seen a solution that actually WORKS for all of the little nuances we have. There are six user-created optional tracking fields that we've set up to track per diem, payroll notes, employee notes to the office, the truck the employee was assigned to at the time, etc. We're able to set up unlimited customers and jobs (another problem we've had with TSheets's competitors in the past when we've previously tried to adopt an application). And the best part is the employees love it. Their previous option was to fill in a Google Sheets timesheet or a paper timesheet, both of which were cumbersome for them to keep up with. The TSheets app saves your last inputted job, so they just have to go in and change what's different - they don't have to re-input anything. Wonderful!

Cons: So far, the only thing that we've stumbled over was a minor inconvenience. You can't batch edit an employee's time entries. Each entry is considered a "time sheet" by itself, so if an employee chooses the wrong job, and we have to fix it, we may have to touch each time entry and open it to edit. It's STILL way faster than manually entering everyone's time. It also pulls directly into QuickBooks, so it eliminates a lot of time we used to spend on data entry to a payroll summary and then again after we've approved that report the data entry into QuickBooks. We've cut payroll down from taking two and a half days to a little more than one work day. We're definitely happy customers, and we've only been using it for three weeks.

Overall: It saves me at least four hours per week on payroll, so I can work on other projects. It's also easy, clean, and simple to use. I spend a lot less time asking employees for information they were forgetting to write down.

Pros: Overall ease of use is phenomenal! its extremely convenient, my employees love it. the cloud access is probably my favorite feature. being able to add and edit job codes from the mobile app is great! theres just so many things i love about the software that i cant begin with a review and keep it under 1500 words. in short i like the: compatibility with xero, square and others, i like the functions it can provide with scheduling, job reports etc. the pto is simple and easy to understand which is great. The customer service is absolutely out of this world. i think that might actually be my favorite part of the software. i cant thank you guys enough for putting such an emphasis on that end of things! in todays day and age its a lost service and dealing with tsheets support is always pleasant, easy and fast! very very refreshing!!

Cons: the cons i have are, certain functions are a little hard to get the hang of, for instance the overtime calculator and job costs function, i wish there was a way to add expenses to each employee such as insurance, social security, medicare etc so i could have an itemized list of what each job actually costs and what percentage of it is fixed costs and what can be trimmed or cut out. The complexity and highly indepth nature could be considered a con or a pro its a double edged sword really, i love all of the functions but i feel as though i need to take a class just to understand all of the functions and how to properly use them to make tsheets as effective as it can possibly be. so the in depth nature is fantastic if i were to take the time to train myself or pay to train an employee but a bit of a con when i dont exactly have a ton of spare time to train myself and budgets are tight due to re investing into the company tools and etc. i realize calling that a con is a bit of a stretch because it should be figured into company budget for training/reinvesting but a simplified version could be good or step by step tutorials for each individual function would help so i can train myself on what immedeately is important vs training on the entire software on some stuff i may never need/use. hope that helps! your software is amazing! keep up the fantastic work!!

Overall: organization and time savings are the two biggest benefits

Comments: I was attempting to set up an automated break for all staff that would occur for 30 minutes in each five hour work period. I could not get it to work so emailed my request. Customer service representative sent me an email and asked me some questions. He then followed up with me the next day, but I was not available to take his call. When I called back, I had the best, professionally customer service experience. From the person that initially answered the phone, through to the complete conversation with Customer service representative, exceptional service; when on hold while attempting to connect me with David, the person came back after one minute to apologize for leaving me on hold and let me know she was still trying to connect with David; stopped anytime I spoke and listened to what I had to say without interrupting and so on. Customer service representative reviewed my requirements and advised, he would speak to the techs and see what they could do for us. It has been a long time since I experience this amazing customer service. By the very next day the automated breaks worked perfectly. When I spoke to my associates, they commented that they were also very impressed with the customer service and sincere interest in resolving their issues in a timely manner, anytime they called.

Pros: Anytime we have come up against something that was not working correctly or hoped to have customized for our company, the Tsheets team was able to accommodate it, usually within a day. Amazing customer care! The Tsheets system makes hourly tracking so easy and you can quickly determine where the staff were during the day and when they logged out.

Cons: Only thing is that GPS does not track the arrival time since cannot start until person logs into Tsheets. Staff that are late say they forgot to log in. It would be good to have an option so we could track as per the scheduled start time for each employee, of course, this would only apply to the staff that have company cell phones or for anyone that is compensated for the data that is required to leave their location services on.

Pros: MMI is a Small Subcontractor, with 10 employees and growing.
We use T-Sheets for our employee's time card program which is linked to our QuickBooks. With a hit of a button T-sheets and QuickBooks are synced, which makes time entry, time verification, job reporting, so much easier.
T-Sheets is so easy to use for the employee and employer. Customer support is right there via chat or after hours you¿re able to send an email and usually before I get into work I have my answer. I am a Penney pitcher and the cost is well worth it. We don't use the calendar option due to it doesn't fit our needs it is on the basic side and we need a more complex layout because we use our calendar as a work ticket for our installers and this is why we only put 4 stars on features. All in all, we/ I am very happy with T-Sheets

Pros: It's incredibly user friendly. We have a complex company setup, our needs are very lengthy, but no matter what we've thrown at them... they have catered to us and made it work! The platform is flexible enough to seamlessly fit our needs. The few hurdles we've faced were easily overcome. The main problems we have run into were issues with syncing TSheets data into Quickbooks (where we run our payroll). Their service reps are knowledgeable, patient, and they truly do take the time to see it all the way through. I am so beyond impressed with their program AND their staff. I can recall one particular call that was difficult, and this is within the first week of signing up. This rep went so far above what my expectations were. They 3-way called Quickbooks tech support to get to the bottom of it for me! We spent an hour and a half on the phone, the Tsheets service rep was relentless in getting my problem resolved! They were professional, funny, and made the whole experience a positive one - even though it was very frustrating for me. A little background to the situation - I had already called TSheets and the initial rep I spoke to said the problem isn't with their system, it is an issue with Quickbooks so that's who we need to call. So I did, I called QB tech support several times and wasn't getting anywhere, despite being passed around to different people and departments. So I decided to call TSheets again to see if there was a creative way to work around the particular problem we had. And that's precisely what we did. They did a screen share for me, and walked me through adjusting my Quickbooks settings. Who does that?! Wow, I've never ever experienced that kind of professionalism. Here a TSheets rep was more savvy in Quickbooks than the actual Quickbooks support people. I couldn't believe it! I am beyond impressed with these people. Instead of getting passed around to different people, getting hung up on, or being rushed off the phone because your question is too complicated or unique, they literally treat you like you're the most important client to them. Each and every time. It's amazing! I promise, the hype you read about Tsheets is 100% legitimate. I love them!

Cons: I wish we had a single account rep that managed our company's account... however, even though we call a toll free number, the system is simple and quick. It isn't like most other places where you must press 5 buttons and listen to multiple, lengthy menus before getting to talk to a human. You literally press one button and within 20 seconds someone answers the phone. And that same person who answered is the one who will walk you through the troubleshooting of whatever your issue is. Their cross-training is remarkable. I've never experienced such an easy system! I really am blown away. I've personally called about a half a dozen times and spoken to different people each time, and every single one of them knew what they were talking about and were very, very helpful! My main disappointment is I prefer having a single go-to person that I can email instead of hopping on the phone. But that's a small price to pay because either way, their kick-ass team caters to us and it's pretty awesome!

Recommendations to other buyers: Give them a shot, it's cost effective, a simple, user-friendly platform, and it's worth every penny. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a similar product.

Pros: We started using T-Sheets to track our employee time in 2013. Our employees work at multiple job sites doing everything from construction, industrial Electrical Wiring and Equipment Installations. This software allows them to clock in/out from the job site noting the customer and service item instead of having to come to the shop to use an old fashioned time clock or the hand written time sheets we used before. This allows us to accurately job cost our projects and to track billable service calls. The GPS Feature keeps everyone above board on clock in/out times and locations, plus provided essential documentation which was accepted by the GA DOL that saved us from being charged unemployment benefits for an employee terminated because he was repeatedly abusing the time recording policy. Tech support has been excellent. Any time we have an issue, they are always polite and usually answer the phone within minutes. They have ALWAYS been polite and helpful and easy to understand. This program also integrates with Quickbooks Enterprise very easily! We are able to process payroll with a minimum effort.

Cons: Reports could use some work.... Also, need an easier way to document when employee is absent or late. Right now there is a work around with the Paid time off, but it does not allow you to make specific notes which is necessary for documentation purposes.

Recommendations to other buyers: We have been extremely happy with this software and use it to it's fullest capability. Our employees find it easy to use and a very convenient way to keep up with their hours worked. We are able to send .pdf's of time sheets via email which gives the employee to make changes to their time cards BEFORE payroll is written, saving countless hours of frustration for them and our accounting team. They are also able to make notes which keeps information current and allows us to track those "While you are here can you look at this" service calls that always seem to pop up. These would otherwise be forgotten and has helped us improve our numbers as accounting does not have to rely on the memory of the employee, sometimes days after the event has taken place. Make sure that you utilize the GPS feature! Depending on the cell service in the area, we have found it to be accurate. The whole system works better with Android phones as it handles service items a little differently, but Iphones still function properly.

Comments: Overall I believe the product is beneficial and works reasonably well. There is learning curves to everything. So, it takes a bit of getting use to the format and reports. I used a paper system before so having a system available on my phone/laptop is beneficial. The gps tracking system has generally been a positive thing to know the where abouts of personnel. The sytem also keeps people honest on actual times of arrival and departure. I tried a few other systems before TSheets and I found TSheets the easiest to understand when looking at the different reports and options. Some systems seemed to be written by programmers using terminology that was difficult to follow or undertsand. The words, descriptions and reports didn't make it easy without referencing a manual.

Pros: 1) GPS tracking & Who's working features available at a glance 2) Employees can add notes to timesheets if they don't take lunch or forget to log in/out 3) Validation of hours and locations of employees 4) Summary of project hours by employee 5) Various reports available for payroll, project and employee 6) Easy for employees to use from Android or IPhones

Cons: I have not fully utilized TSheets so some of my Cons may be due to my lack of experience or understanding. 1) I have set up Add Ons for clocking in and out. If employees clock in at 8:01 for example they will get paid starting at 8:15. If they clock out at 5:14 it will go back to 5:00. The problem is when they switch between projects they lose 15 min. Currently they notify me and I adjust accordingly. 2) There is a delay at times when people clock in/out and also with the GPS locations when looking at "who's working". Employees said they clocked out but "Who's working" says they are still clocked in. Sometimes I check the GPS and I don't see tracking and the employee says they haven't done anything to their phones. Not sure what to believe. 3) Payroll reports have actual hours worked - unpaid lunch has been subtracted. Tracking reports have unpaid lunch as hours total. Using the system and understanding the reports is important. 4) All the pricing is in USD so for Canadians exchange rates fluctuate so there is some risks

Recommendations to other buyers: Like anything new there will be a learning curve. I believe TSheets is one of the easier systems to catch on to quickly.

Pros: I love that it saves me 30+ hours each pay period because I don't have to manually enter all of my employees' timesheets, line by line. I love that it has GPS tracking, and the customer service is really fantastic.

Cons: Navigating it takes some time. Also, there aren't options in Spanish--half of our staff doesn't speak/read English because of the industry we're in. It would be SUPER helpful to be able to translate (at least their app menu options and notifications, maybe some tutorials) into Spanish for them. Being in the states, I TOTALLY appreciate them needing to learn English, but for those who have difficulty reading period--even in their own language, at least they can be reading it in their own language, so it's a little bit more user-friendly. It saves me having to try to answer a whole lot of questions, too, in a language I am not fluent in.

Overall: I needed help setting up permissions for an assistant and DM not only helped me figure out how to use what I had already set up for her, he gave me new options to maximize our productivity, reduce my work load, and he wasn't even promoting a product that was going to cost me extra--just sharing features that I hadn't yet taken advantage of! He was patient and very good at listening. Tsheets has been great at customer support in general--probably one of the best companies at actually LISTENING to their clients. He made me feel like I was asking good questions--and appreciated the feedback I had so we could make this software/program even more user-friendly. Thank you DM! Great experience today.

Recommendations to other buyers: Offer two and three hour training seminars (even if they're video/podcast seminars) for people in my position that can give us a run down of all of our options to better navigate this software. The mini tutorials are nice, but if there is a systematic way we can have those trainings...maybe even trainings that are...tailored...to different industries, that would be AMAZING!!!!

Never ever have I experienced such consistently awesome customer service. Customer rep just made my day!

Comments: Knowing what employee is where does a dream come true. GPS tracking is one of the most useful features. Also, being able to produce reports by date, customer, employee, and any combination of those makes me significantly more effective at performing my job well. The system also makes runny payroll a piece of cake. Add to that the ability to create custom fields for tracking mileage on vehicles and/or expenses and/or anything else I could ever think of!

Pros: Everything. First and foremost is the customer service; Unparalleled. Ease-of-use and interface are so simple, even 'non-tech-savvy' people will have no problems understanding basic functions. Just moments ago, Customer rep helped me out by showing me some 'special buttons' that let me make changes without having to constantly ask the TSheets team for help! I have never had a negative customer service experience with TSheets; if anything, service gets better and better as time goes on!

Cons: There are bugs in the app software whenever it gets updated, but that is something their tech team is always working hard to fix and stay on top of, so it's typically not a problem for very long. ...and I wish that I could manage two companies that could upload to two separate Quickbooks companies from the same TSheets account (but I know that's a lot to ask for). It would also be great if notifications could be sent via text message without having to pay extra.

Pros: Once I cleaned up my Quickbooks' Customer list, the company set up and Quickbooks integration has gone pretty smoothly. Webinars could be a little faster pace but they were very informative! I had a few questions but with one click on the Live Chat, a rep was available to answer my questions with easy to understand responses. The fact that I have timesheets being submitted electronically, GPS tracking from clock in through the day until clock out AND Quickbooks Integration to expedite payroll processing - saves time and money!

Cons: When downloading the employees, I did not like how I had to go in and map the employees overtime, holiday, and vacation. There should be a faster way to map the QB designation to the Tsheets. I literally had to map overtime, holiday and vacation for each of 3 dozen employees. Not the fastest way. I'm sure Tsheets will figure out a better way pretty quickly. The live chat link sometimes put you in touch with a rep very quickly and other times, you have to wait and by wait, once I waited almost 15 or 20 minutes. This could use some improvement. The website has A LOT of great articles and information; however, it is not always easy to locate what you are looking for and then you feel ridiculous when the Live Chat rep sends you a link to what you couldn't find!

Recommendations to other buyers: In my research, many other programs charged extra for GPS or only allowed for GPS tracking without the timesheet aspect. Our previous program didn't allow for integration into our payroll program and was very convoluted in any process, didn't auto update their apps and such. With this program, I have timesheets, GPS and integration into our payroll. All of those items will save money! I don't have thirty employees all crowding in here trying to drop off their timesheets each week - time, gas and my patience all saved. The GPS will allow me to see that they were on site or at the site when they clocked in and out, in lieu of clocking in while en route or clocking out when they got home. Therefore, the GPS aspect lowers payroll costs with accuracy and accountability of their actual time in/out. The integration of payroll will save time with accurate payroll hours being reported, math errors and processing will be expedited! All saving money! I wasn't able to find a user friendly program for our team that provided timesheets, gps and integration with our payroll, all in one package! Very economical!

Comments: TSheets has made our client's payroll process so much easier and much faster. Something that used to take over two hours now takes about forty-five minutes. There are a lot of things to consider when setting up the account, such as the payroll item, service item, employee permissions, QuickBooks sync, etc. It can be a little time consuming, but once that's done you never have to go back to it. The mobile app is intuitive and very easy to use for employees. It takes a few minutes to teach them how to clock in and out. Our client uses Intuit Payroll, which TSheets syncs with. All the time data that appears in TSheets sync pretty quickly with QuickBooks Desktop and from there it's just a matter of creating the paychecks.

Pros: It very easy to use. The approval process is very quick and if management needs to edit an employees time, they can do it straight from the approval screen without having to close out of anything or refresh the page. There's a manual time sheet as well in case you need to record time for an employee that doesn't have the app on their phone or forgot to clock in. Employees have the ability to make notes to management on their time sheets. TSheets has great customer service. They reply to emails very quickly and stay with you until the problem is solved. They have a special plan called Flex Force, which we use and only charges for the employees that log time for the month. This is perfect for our client since not all of their employees work in a month.

Cons: The only thing that's problematic is that currently TSheets sync with QuickBooks Desktop using the Intuit Sync Manager, which isn't very fast and can be buggy. We've had some errors in the past and the sync has to be done using the same computer every time or else we have to reset the sync data. I believe that since Intuit is discontinuing the sync manager, they'll have another solution soon. That would be great because it's our only problem and it's not about the actual product, which we love.

Good product, but definitely not smooth sailing.

Comments: This is the second company where I've implemented Tsheets in the last 6 months. This company's setup is rather complex. We use Lunch Breaks, but have had to switch from Automatic to Manual Lunch Breaks because of serious bugs in the Automatic Lunch Break system when using 15-minute rounding, and when changing Service Items (but NOT clocking out) throughout the day.

The custom Mileage field "remembers" the last number that was entered, which is problematic when 42 guys are changing Service Items throughout the day, and Tsheets is automatically re-entering the last-used mileage number 8-12 times per day. This means the Mileage field is not reliable, and hardly usable.

Some of our field workers are set up so that they must clock in and clock out, and cannot manually enter their time, but we have indicated in the PTO settings that all employees can enter their own PTO/Holiday time. However, these settings are mutually exclusive within the Tsheets system, and supervisors are ALSO unable to enter PTO on behalf of someone else from their mobile devices, so now PTO falls to the Tsheets administrators to manage, which is NOT the streamlined process we're striving to implement.

We had some bad advice from a Tsheets Tier 2 rep on updating our custom fields, which resulted in an ENORMOUS amount of time to fix EVERY SINGLE ENTRY for EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE at the VERY LAST MINUTE for the pay period that we had previously been ready to upload into Quickbooks. This did NOT make us very happy customers.

We are still trying to work around some buggy features within Tsheets, and find Tsheets customer service to be invariably friendly and willing to help, but VERY DIFFICULT TO REACH for assistance, and largely unable to respond to fix the features that are buggy for us.

We would STRONGLY RECOMMEND implementing an Account Manager system, so that we could develop working relationships with one or two people who would be our go-to people for assistance, and for the sake of continuity, particularly considering how frequently we need in-depth assistance at this point.

Overall, Tsheets is the best system I've found available for mobile and web-based timekeeping. It is certainly a vast improvement over the Excel-based system this company had in place previously. However, it has a long way to grow to work smoothly, and I am enduring a LOT of grumbling from my staff in the meantime, and working a LOT of extra hours each pay cycle to get it working at all.

Comments: I had a problem this morning with trying to find a feature that had been updated and moved within Tsheets in the past week. I used Live Chat via their web site while I was on the site trying to work, and was immediately helped by a respectful CSR, Elaina (EM1). She listened, understood my problem, was able to guide me directly to where I needed to be, and did so with respect even though I'm sure the question I asked was a silly one that she gets all the time. Kudos for hiring excellent staff, Tsheets! Elaina: you rock.

Pros: Tsheets is mobile-friendly and easy to use for every member of our team on iPhone and/or Android devices. It integrates with Quickbooks Online which is helpful to us, and is customizable in the moment for cases when syncing of data hasn't happened, and our field reps need to track time immediately. Super-user-friendly desktop interface for office staff (me) - I can easily switch clients or manually update time entries for field reps when they've forgotten to switch customers or clock in. Tsheets also sends weekly tips in time tracking and office management, and provides reports on time tracking weekly - both helpful; I read all their emails thoroughly (useful content).

Cons: No automatic Quickbooks Online integrations (have to click a daily button which isn't difficult, but would be nice to be automatic).

TSheets support sets them apart.

Pros: There is a lot to love about Tsheets! 1) The product contains a lot of useful features. All major needs are covered. 2) Tsheets takes customer feedback seriously and continuously works to add improvements to the software based on this feedback. Several huge updates specific to my feedback have been added since I have been a customer. 3) And most importantly the support staff at Tsheets is AMAZING. I have had issues come up and their support staff has quickly and completely come up with a solution each and every time. Today was just the latest instance and Ben D had a solution to a fairly complicated problem for me within 2 minutes. (Literally, 2 mins) I have to be honest, I am not one to usually take the time to write reviews, but when I receive really good support from a product/service/software it really means a lot to me because as a small business I don't have the time or resources to be down and waiting indefinitely for solutions. To me, there are a lot of software companies out there they provide similar products. The difference is in the support. Tsheets has never let me down so far and to me that's huge.

Cons: So far, so good. I just passed the 1 year mark of being a customer with Tsheets and the product and support are solid.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're looking for a time tracking and scheduling software package for your business, try the free demo. After you get your hands on it, it will be clear to you about whether it will meet your needs or not. The software is intuitive and easy to use. The support they offer will help you with any of the more complicated features. They offer a 14 day free trial and I never received high pressure sales tactics during my evaluation. Everyone I've ever encountered at Tsheets has been friendly and helpful.

Comments: QuickBooks, and the add-ins like TSheets, are FUN. If you are a geek like me, it's really fun. I am concerned about rising subscription prices. I only feel it's a good deal if it's less than I used to pay for periodic upgrades. So far, most do. Also, I like to have the works in my books whether I use it or not, but it's all extra per month right now. There are start up deals, which are good. I give Intuit FIVE STARS once again. No problems. Thank you.

Pros: My son, a techie, turned me on to HarvestApp and I loved it. It was simple, fast, inclusive and easy. However, it didn't integrate quite as nicely with QuickBooks as something built for QuickBooks. TSheets is as easy as HarvestApp and really does so much more.

Cons: As far as "Ease of Use" I would say nothing like this would be "easy" for anyone not acquainted with QuickBooks or utility software programs as not everyone needs it. However, for me, an accountant, property manager, broker and mortgage loan originator AND past caregiver, this software rocks and I find it very easy. It is intuitive and does everything I need. It's new, like QuickBooks Online, which has just in recent years become really mobile online. I love them both with a passion.

I am still currently in the free trial stages and just getting to know your platform. In short,Awesome! I see this kind of time keeping being the absolute standard across the board inside of 5 years. Wait! don't start buying Bentley's yet Tsheets' executives and staff...HA!, as this is only the prediction of a lowly custom furniture designer and craftsman. That brings me to my next point. The fact that I spent most of my career in the field dealing face to face with clients, managing staff, actually building and crafting furniture and architectural mill work, means that time was NOT spent becoming the next all star office administrator who can type 120 WPM and chews up and spits out email inquiries an even faster pace. In a not so short way, I am trying to say that even though I am not well trained as of yet in the arts of office administration and all things related, I find the Tsheets platform easy to navigate and well thought out. Again, I am only at this for less than 2 weeks now, and in that 2 weeks I have only cracked open the platform a handful of times but still,I am very impressed. If things keep going as good as of late, It looks like I can get back to doing more of what I love about this career and much,much less of what I... let's say "don't love" which of course is making sure all the minor and major details of each of my 16 employees' work weeks have been measured and counted accurately and efficiently. Last but certainly not least, the staff at Tsheets is something to behold. So far I have had several online chats with Riley who is deliberate and concise, while never being impolite or short. He walked me through "add on's for lunch breaks" and helped me understand how to run and print an individual employee's timesheet report. Also, I spoke at some length with a one Mel Linnemeyer for my first encounter with a Tsheets associate. She answered all of my questions effortlessly and was and absolute pleasure to speak with. I most certainly will be a paying subscriber to this service. But you already knew that,didn't you?

Comments: After 16 years of running my business, I was about to throw in the towel and I started to open an Indeed account to go work for someone else. This past year of owning my business I noticed there was a lack of performance, and it was starting to impact my profits. Slowly, I began to think I was not doing my job correctly, which is craziness since I have been successful at this for 16 years. This is when I found Quickbooks suggesting TSheets, and possibly could have saved my business. I am within my first week of my free 14 day trial. Let me say TSheets has spent hours helping me directly on Screen Sharing and on the phone every single time I need help. They have not directed me to outside sources to get me up and running. I learn best with hands on explaining. Their staff is amazing. Today alone representative spent time helping me organize my jobs and getting my timesheets set up properly. He was so kind in being patient with me too.

Pros: Tracking employee hours and time spent on different projects. This is such a money saving tool. Also makes the employees feel safe that their hours are being tracked correctly, and makes me feel good knowing they are where they say they are. In the first day alone using the app I discovered a 3 man crew drove and took two "breaks" on company time and gas. In the day alone I saved almost. Also, you can work from your phone as an admin too.

Cons: I understand this is a time sheet program, but I wish it had a work order section. I really enjoy working with the company, and it would be nice to have that extra feature. I do appreciate the fact that they offer as many integrated ways already to make it a job tracker which I can make into work orders.

Pros: TSheets has streamlined our time-tracking and made my job as Office Manager a breeze for the past year. The Kiosk app makes it easy for our employees to clock in/out, keep track of what project they're working on, and note EXACTLY what it was they did each day. This also makes billing our customers so much better, with accurate descriptions of each day's work. We previously relied on employees entering their times/descriptions at the end of each day, resulting in a hold-up when multiple people needed to use the single available computer (not to mention dozens of post-its scattered in the office for folks who hadn't had a chance to enter time and had to write it down for later). No longer a problem!

Cons: There are still a few features we wish would synchronize with QuickBooks. We know it's not a short-coming on TSheet's part, as QB would need some tweaks as well to make things compatible, but those little things would sure be a great asset to us. We had a few glitches with the Kiosk App, but TSheet's customer service is excellent and they sorted it out for us. Every now and then the issue pops up again, which is a mild inconvenience, but easily fixed.

Overall: It's quick and easy to implement. It saves us time (and thus money) when tracking employee hours, and makes converting employee time to customer bills super fast.

Pros: Special shout out the Tsheet support team,especially to Brooke,the support staff at Tsheet whom we have always reached out to ,and gotten solutions to any problem we face using this great solution.
TSheets is user friendly and has thereby made it intuitive to use. As administrator ,I have had it very easy introducing staffs to Tsheet. We use Tsheet in my team to automatically clock-in staffs based on their present location ,thus reducing the amount of workload on every employee when they resume at work .
The HR head uses Tsheet as an eagle eye to monitor active staffs . We have also integrated Tsheet with our invoicing and expense management in-house tools, and this has helped to ensure everything from invoicing to expenses within the organization stays tracked.

Cons: Our project management team will like to have Tsheet allow users to automatically record mileage, therefore making it easier to mention staff efficiency.

Comments: TSheets is a very intuitive application. We find that employees are able to pick it up very quickly. The overall initial setup was more time consuming and it took quite some time to ensure we had the system optimally configured for our requirements.

Pros: Easy to use, good basic reporting. Excellent multilevel structure for job codes. Very good support for PTO code setup and entry. Your support has been absolutely excellent. I have never had to wait for any period of time to get a response via phone or email and everyone I talked to was very knowledgeable about the product. The free demo period was great. There was a competitive product we wanted to assess but, as they did not offer a free trial, we passed on them.

Cons: Very oriented to the Clock In/Out time card, especially on the mobile app. We are a professional services firm. Our employees are all exempt salaried and are only going to use the manual time sheet. Requiring clocking in and out would be a major cultural and moral shift. The manual time sheet needs enhancement if it is to be used as the primary time tracking method and not just for posting hours to a job. The employee should be able to select the jobs they are working on for the day or week in advance without entering hours. Competitive products we trialed also had more robust features for employee setup including the management of an employee directory which it seems might be a not too complex feature to add to TSheets.

Recommendations to other buyers: Spend time ensuring the initial setup conforms to your requirements. This is a deceptively robust system. It is very easy to setup and use but, if you don't setup a full trial and use it on a day to day basis prior to going live, you might miss some of the capabilities.

Comments: I had been stuck in my "there isn' any other option" mind set while using QB Timer (which if you are familiar is horrid). I do an immense amount of time/detail tracking. Each time i had a new hire i would preface with, "the timer is terrible, but i cant find anything to sync with QBDT properly" until.. i came across TSheets! and i LOVE it! It has so many functionalities, it provides ALl of the support and detail that i need. And i just got off the phone with Shawn (SS1) from Tech Support and she was brilliant! We had fun, she quickly caught on to my comfort level on the computer and was comfortable walking me through things. (First experience EVER like this). I highly recommend TSheets!!

Pros: Easy to use, great hand holding service for set up and walk through. Very high level of detail available. Love the GPS locator and check-in, knowing who is working and who isn't. Being able to do Vendor and Employees easily without there being a conflict of name types. Scheduling is pretty good, though i haven't spent much time here and I don't have a huge need for it. Had great customer service with ( SS1 ).

Cons: I don't like how the browser window expands to the right and you have to scroll to get the entire window for the various pages. Though i DO like that it is centralized and you dont have to go to a new window or new tab, that it is all in one place.

Pros: Ease of use to streamline processes. Love the reporting and scheduling also.

Cons: I can't pull cost reports based on wage. All of the data is there so it seems we should be able to select a cost report that calculates time paid (regular, OT and DT) based on the employee wage by customer/job. Now that would be an amazing sell!

Overall: First and foremost, Tsheets customer service is A+. Thank you for always being there...love the live chat for ease of use as well. I would love tips on how to build a company culture that you have. Now for the product, it's great!! As a service based company that invoices on billable time, service codes and class codes, it has simplified our lives and we have the ability to produce productivity reports. I would love to see cost reports built into the program based on hours worked and wage rates. I'm sure that next to come...yes? Pretty please? Thanks BD1 for your recent assistance. Comments: Thanks to customer rep. for being so awesome and helpful! Taking 45 minutes out of her day to help me and having to get others involved to resolve my problem was perfect.

Pros: This product is amazingly helpful for running any size of business. I started with just me and one employee and we are now up to ten. TSheets makes it extremely easy to keep track of your employees hours, and locations when on the clock. With my employees being out in the field if their hours don't aline with schedules I can easily see where they were when they were racking up hours. Another great feature is the fact that the services integrate right in with QuickBooks Online allowing me to approve the employees hours right into my payroll software. Finally, the customer service is absolutely amazing. Today I was helped by customer rep. and she was very helpful in taking her time to figure out what was wrong with my account through a whole step by step process.

Cons: I feel like this product could really use a lot of work for people who need to schedule just time slots without all of the required information. For me its more of a thing to let my workers know that they are working then all of the required information I have to put in.

Comments: I gave the app a 3 in the "value" section ONLY because we are a Canadian customer and the exchange rate is killing us at the moment.

Pros: Many pros. I find it incredibly easy to use; love that I can see the project reports in "decimal" hours as that is how we track our painters' time. Love that I can include links to our work-orders within the scheduled job. Also, love that we now have a live location field so our painters can simply click the address and it opens their map app for live directions. And finally, the customer service is simply outstanding. Every rep I have spoken with has been friendly, happy, willing to go above and beyond to assist. Special shout-out to one of the customer representative who was super helpful today, and quick to answer all my questions!

Cons: Turning off a mobile clocks user out. We have 20 painters so it is frustrating when several do this in a day and forget to adjust their clock-out times end of project. Would be great to always see the menu for "active" projects (jobs) when finding/plotting them on the schedule (default menu is "Assigned"). Perhaps this be a "setting" users can adjust in future? Would also be great to search time sheets by project instead of just employee.

Pros: I use TSheets for my business and recommend it to my clients in need of time tracking software. TSheets customer service provides the personal touch that we wish every software (or any company for that matter) could provide as well as software that is amazing. The add-ins are cool (and useful), the capabilities are enough to make anyone happy, and using TSheets is fun! In addition to all of those things, TSheets helps me and my clients more easily job cost, report labor costs/hours for insurance purposes, and keep track of our days and schedules. Thanks TSheets!!

Cons: As TSheets continues to prove itself as major player in the web based software market, I would like to see them lean more on other companies such as Intuit to better improve the syncing and compatibility between the two programs. I'm not saying the compatibility is bad, just that it could be improved (such as QBO considering seconds on timesheets).

Recommendations to other buyers: Today I learned that although TSheets can track time down to the exact second, QuickBooks Online does not accommodate for seconds when syncing time between the two programs. Not to worry, TSheets has an awesome add-in for rounding those seconds however you would like so that this doesn't become too major of an issue when utilizing time in QBO for payroll. Save yourself the headache and install the add-in if you're syncing with QBO for payroll.

Pros: We are in the implemenation stage of this product with 4 different companies that have various policies & procedures. She has spent an incredible amount of time on the phone helping me get all the set up the completed accurately. This was considerably more complicated than normal for two of our companies based upon several factors. However, she patiently walked me through the set up over several different scheduled meetings over a several week period. Her knowledge and expertise to answer every question I had was incredible, particularly with the more complex QuickBooks integration. She never once acted like I was taking too much of her time. She also always called and the scheduled time. Compared to other software vendors we use that are much more expensive this continued service is incredible.

Cons: We have been a five year user in our one small company and decided to roll out to the others. We love this product for it's breath of features but most importantly the amazing customer support by an educated, English speaking, well trained work force.

Recommendations to other buyers: Like most software, it's a little time consuming to set up in the beginning but the back end savings after reflecting for the investment provides a huge return on investment and drastically increases internal controls of your company.

Pros: Every time I call in the people genuinely happy to help. They are so friendly and easy to connect with. During dead air times when I was waiting for things to load, the rep conversed with me about all sorts of great topics. She was funny and eager to explain without making me feel dumb. She helped me work through payroll reports and project reports as well as brainstormed "work arounds" for separating payroll and overtime in different territories. T-sheets always has an answer and if by chance they don't, you can request that they add or change things. Ive been with Tsheets for over 2 years and I can say they are always improving and responding to customer recommendations extremely fast.

Cons: Would love them to offer an entire dispatch system and customer data base. If they offered another program that did that, our company would be set!

Pros: Easy, Easy set-up between Gusto and Tsheets. Most of our freelancers are either remote or out of Country so it's hard to "check-in". As well as if they are onsite with a customer, you can use this on a tablet or phone so your time and work is notated. Go one step further and by using a shared work space not only can you see that they're online, but gone are the days of "I forgot to log my time etc.....because as an admin......Tsheets will not forget thus I can adjust what I need to before it goes to payroll.

Cons: I guess the only thing I can really find as being a negative.....if I set up X hours for employees, some may need only 10 hours a week and others may need 40 hours a week, so I say "no overtime" but since I do not see the reports, I cannot see exactly how that is brought to our attention because I have indeed paid overtime in a few instances and I do not recall ever having this confirmed as being ok or not?

Overall: Since I use Quick books it only made sense to use Tsheets since they are a division of Quick Books. And by using both it was easier to put a cost to an entire project so when I invoiced for time and materials there was hardly ever any raised eyebrows! Two thumbs up and if I had a third I'd raise that one as well!

Cons: Some facts are buried in reports, custom dashboards would be outstanding.

Overall: I took over leadership of a department and was faced with a difficult challenge. I needed to measure what the team was spending their time on, but I couldn't make doing this something that became a job on its own. I found TSHEETS and was amazed at how easy it was to use, administrate, report on, and get help with. I've found the entire experience fantastic and quickly implemented the tool for my team. I've been using it for over two years now and it has provided a great deal of value. It is now part of the team's culture and has allowed me to collect time-based data to use for head-count justification, setting priorities, and adjusting department policies. Outstanding tool for the price... and I probably only use a fraction of its capability.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you use something complex like Oracle time or have a need to track billable hours, I would highly recommend using this app.

Comments: Before successfully getting the TSheets integration to work with Quickbooks, we had made several calls to TSheets for assistance. We were unbelievably impressed with the Customer Support we received in each call. Each agent we spoke to was not only very knowledgeable but incredibly kind and patient. Our success in getting TSheets to integrate with the way we customized our invoices in Quickbooks came by the assistance of one of the customer representative who was extremely knowledgeable, kind, funny, reassuring and, above all, she was very patient with our lack of knowledge and spent a great deal of time on the phone with us helping to complete the integration without rushing us. Sadly, with so many businesses today, customer service is not of priority or concern to business owners and, for that reason, I rarely ever give a rating or answer a survey. However, TSheets exercises customer service FAR superior to any company that we have ever worked with. We own an accounting practice and service clients in a variety of industries. We will most definitely refer our clients to TSheets. Thank you Shandara and thank you to the entire TSheets team!

Pros: We love that our timekeepers can add their daily hours to the timesheet in real time (both on the desktop and mobile app platforms) and with such ease, and that the time integrates with Quickbooks.

Cons: We had difficulty setting up our timekeepers/vendors (contractors who are not employees) with multiple billing rates, but that is really an issue on the QuickBooks side. We started with QB desktop, moved to QB Online, tried QB Premier and ended back with QB Desktop. We found a work-around by setting up each contractor's various rates as an Item Code with their initials so they do have to search a bit in the drop down menu, but it works. We raised the issue with QuickBooks so, hopefully, if QuickBooks can fix this problem in the future, TSheets will be able to allow for multiple timekeeper rates to be added.

No matter who I call, I always get great customer service and the functionality of the program is FANTASTIC and makes my job as Office Manager for a painting company so much easier! Pros: Before - the guys filled out paperwork with their hours. Every single week it was a headache - they didn't turn it in at all, or they put the wrong codes or they messed up how many hours they worked - or what the project name was. It was a real NIGHTMARE! Now with T Sheets - it is so easy for them to enter it on their cell phones and I have very few problems. If they do get something wrong or forget something, it is so easy to fix!

Cons: I can't think of a thing I don't like about it!

Pros: T-Sheets does what it's designed to do and does it very well. It doesn't overcomplicate anything. It keeps the features simple but versatile. It's ideal for a non brick & mortar business but works for stores as well. I can keep my employees time and also verify their location when the clock in/ out. They can leave me notes about their timesheets, see their past time sheets. They can clock in even when service is bad, although it won't show on my end until they get phone service again - that's awesome. Tracking timesheets this way means that all time is kept digitally in a way that's simple to run reports, export, and communicate with other softwares (like accounting or payroll programs).

Cons: I wish the phone app had a little bit more robust menus for the admin. I have to login on a laptop to be able to add new employees, manage employee profiles, passwords, etc.

Overall: Makes time tracking easy, communicates with other software, saves me a TON of time and headache with payroll or manual time tracking.

Pros: As a small construction company, we needed a time tracking program that provided: (1) easy administrative set up, (2) user-friendly interface that our employees could utilize from their phones (3) project time tracking (with notes) and (3) an array of report options. TSheets provides all critical items enabling us to accurately track and bill time worked to each project. Additionally, TSheets.com staff have been helpful and responsive to our needs. Love that we can set reminders for our employees to clock in/out and enable them a certain modicum of autonomy in editing their time entries. We can also see in real time who is on the clock and how many hours people are working in advance of payroll period end.

Cons: TSheets should offer a built-in administrative login as part of the monthly base price. Right now, we're paying for the admin person who doesn't utilize time tracking (she's on salary). Obviously, we need an admin to interface with our employees and process payroll reporting at the end of the payroll period. Also, reporting options, while fairly robust, are slightly confusing. Would love to be able to memorize customized reports as we run the same reports at the end of each payroll reporting period. It would also be great to have the following options for days when our employees are not on the clock: "PTO", "Vacation Day", "Sick Day", etc. We are contacting individual employees to make sure that they didn't miss clocking in/out when no hours are shown on the system.

Recommendations to other buyers: We started out looking at project management software (e.g. Harvest, Toggl), but couldn't enter individual employees in order to create actual time sheets. Those programs were designed more for a team of working professionals rather than an employer/employee structure. Eventually, we found TSheets, which enabled us to be up and rolling with time tracking within 20 minutes. We entered employees, entered our project names, invited employees to check out the software and, bam!, we were in business! LOVE that!

I use TSheets to track my time, and also use the schedule to for my team.

Pros: I like the ease of use and the ability to set up a field that will remain and I can clock in and out. I also like that the schedule will send a reminder to employees.

Cons: What I like least is that the schedule is not searchable like Google Calendar. Also I don;t like the sync it performs with Google Calendar. When I post something on the TSheets schedule it doesn't show up on the Google Calendar immediately. It usually shows up the next day which doesn't really help because my team needs to see it immediately. We still use the Google Calendar because there are more options like it is searchable and it can be used to for things like reserving a vehicle from our fleet, or booking a conference room.
It would also be nice if we could sync with Google Cal both ways, I'm sure that would be really difficult though. Did I mention you CANNOT search the schedule?

Overall: Part of the scheduling is really nice, I like that it will send shift reminders to the employees. Also our finance and departments heads can go back and use data for metrics from the schedule.

Comments: The expertise of the online live chat group is great. I just had a chat with rep I had several questions & concerns, as well as some feedback regarding the Beta upgrade. Rep partnered well & provided excellent insight to my business's needs. Not only were my inquiries satisfied, she was able to provide insight on what changes are in the works - which makes it easier on this end when I know what functionality to expect and can plan accordingly. Pros: It was easy to implement, train the users & it has good functionality. The product is priced well and has proven to be extremely reliable.

Cons: I wish there was an advanced notice (i.e. pre-release) to the administrators prior to a full go live. It would be nice to be able to test an upgrade & become familiar with it and be able to do so when convenient for me, in lieu of experiencing the update at the same time as the rest of the users who are throwing questions my way. I would prefer to be proactive an even be able to inform my users of an upcoming change and if needed educate them ahead of time.

Pros: We are a contractor who can have up to 30+ jobs going at any one time and our field employees also switch jobs through-out their day. T-Sheets was the only program that could accommodate that. And it can be used on mobile phones, tablets and computers. Their technical support is awesome!! I have called and used their Chat multiple times and they are always very helpful and never tell me to just check the Knowledge Base. I've talked with them for sometimes upwards of an hour and they never lose their patience with all of my questions. Excellent!

Cons: The only item I found that would be a slight issue is using the TSheets to Quickbooks time import. It doesn't import Service Items unless the employee actually selects it. It's hard enough getting the employee to clock in and out and select the correct job, we don't want to add another item for them to chose. We'll just have to manually enter the Service Item, but at least everything else will be imported into QBs automatically. Haven't gone live with the Quickbooks integration, but we'll just have to see how that add-on goes.

Recommendations to other buyers: T-Sheets offers much more flexibility than any other time-tracking I've seen and they will do their best to add any feature that we, as users, ask for. We've been using them for over a year now and have nothing but good words to say. Thank you to Elaina, Brad and all of the others at Support. I never hesitate to ask a stupid question!

Comments: I love TSheets! Their service department has impressed me the few times I've needed to contact them -- they even incorporated a change in the interface that I had submitted AND they send a thank you note. TSheets is an integral part of my service business.

Pros: Easy interface, accurate and reliable web-based data collection, good integration on phones for employees who may not have access to a terminal or kiosk for time-tracking. Support is responsive and helpful. Integration with GPS (for mobile employees on jobsites or travelling) seems well-thought out.

Cons: These are minor: on Desktop, it's difficult to create/modify an entry just from the keyboard (mousing required to select client/project) which slows down the task. Cost for a very small business (under 5 employees) is competitive but feels high with a one-time fee and monthly per user fees. Project reports are functional but not of the best design; in fairness, this isn't what TSheets was designed to do, and integration with QuickBooks may resolve this.

Pros: This product is very user-friendly. There is a lot of useful information that we pull from this system to assist with job costing.

Cons: I liked the system better when we got to choose to sync the timesheets with QuickBooks.

Overall: Many times our timesheets get approved by supervisors and exported to QuickBooks with errors. We in the payroll department discover the errors and have to correct them. Luckily the associates with TSheets are always ready to help. They unlock the timesheets after we delete the incorrect entries in QuickBooks to make the corrections. And they are always willing to stay on the chat board until all corrections are made - which can be several different entries for different employees. We truly appreciate all their help and patience.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is definitely a great resource for timekeeping. The accuracy is phenomenal. I like that everyone clocks in and out and are paid up to the single minute as opposed to rounding a day's hours from 8 to 5.

Comments: If you are considering this product, I would highly recommend it. It has saved our company countless hours of keying time sheet data and was very easy to set up with our accounting software (Quickbooks). We used to spend most of a day doing payroll for each two week pay period. Now it is perhaps 1/2 hour to 1 hour. And Tsheets is far more accurate than manual time cards.

Pros: The software is easy to use, easy to manage and saves hours of manual keying since it seamlessly integrates with Quickbooks. We have been using Tsheets for several years and really couldn't imagine going back to paper time sheets. LOVE Tsheets! On the very rare occasions that we have needed advice, the customer support team has been amazing - fast, accurate responses and you get the realize that everyone at Tsheets genuinely cares.

Comments: I think the functionality of the product is great. It is fairly easy to maneuver around. I really like the vibe the company projects. On the other hand, company follow-up could be improved upon. On one occasion, I was left a voicemail about an IOP integration issue I was having with tech support. I returned the call, sent an email to the help@tsheets.com (I believe that was the email...I clicked on a link) and asked a rep via online chat to have someone call me back about the issue to no avail. When I finally got in touch with a tech support level 1 rep after numerous attempts, I was told my information would be forwarded on to a tier 2 / level 2 rep to look into my issues. I've pretty much given up on using the IOP feature since the a majority of my employee's names won't transfer to IOP - AND - there is an issue with how the times are rounded when they transfer from T-Sheets to IOP. For example, an employee's time will be displayed in T-Sheets as "31.02" hours, but when transferred to IOP, it reads "31.02899." Since we believe in transparency, I think the times shown to employees via T-Sheets should be the same as those shown on their check via IOP. If the times don't transfer over to IOP rounded to the nearest hundredth as it does in T-Sheets, using the transfer button is only efficient in theory since we will have to manually go in and delete the additional numbers for every employee. Lastly, I wish there was a feature that alerted supervisors if an employee goes outside of a designated GPS area or as I have seen other companies refer to it as "Geo-Fencing." This would eliminate the need to randomly check employee coordinates. For example, if an employee goes to Arby's on the clock, which is 3 miles down the road, a supervisor would know they are still on the clock.

Comments: We have 2 companies, and we needed to sync to 2 separate quickbooks accounts for payroll. I created a new TSheets account for the second company, but wanted to see if there was an easier way to manage. I asked TSheets live chat to see if there was a way to manage multiple companies under one account. The agent was very helpful and although you need 2 separate accounts if you want to sync hours to 2 separate quickbooks companies, Rep setup client management so that I can access the other company from the user dropdown. Just an easier way to manage both companies. Thanks!

Pros: Easy time tracking, mobile app, quickbooks syncing. Great product. The product is great in itself, but the support staff is so friendly and helpful it makes it that much better.

Comments: I was fortunate to have the assistance. As a former Customer Support Service Rep, I can most truly attest that these folks are beyond 5-star. They are not only courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable, but they also have the characteristics most necessary for a Customer Support Rep: integrity and patience. Not only is TSheets a superb product, but the Support Team exceeds the quality of the product. Throughout the hour or so I spent with these two folks, they treated me with respect and dignity -- a rare occurrence these days where often, perhaps usually, the support staff are folks with whom it is difficult to communicate, possess little product knowledge, and for whom customer support is merely an inconvenience. As for us old, rusty hippies from the 60s used to say, "Keep on truckin'!"

They are accommodating, friendly and willing to make customizable changes to our account that work best for our process. What the first level of support cannot work through on their own they work with a lead on and ACTUALLY GET BACK TO YOU, which has been very helpful during our set up process. We are still only in the set up process and it is pretty intense- but the support being available in live chat has been huge. They even sent us tshirts! and some crazy sweet treat that I still haven't figured out that were kind of like tater tots but sweet. Overall the product has been a good change for us and the people have been great. Over and above. Thanks TSHEETS

Pros: The back end is super easy to use and has super applicable information that can satisfy the needs of the person approving the time to the project managers that need time reporting for job estimates and projections.

Cons: The clock in clock out method doesn't work for our company so we are using manual time cards. The product doesn't work as perfectly when used this way but the TSHEETS people have worked hard to make it work for us.

Recommendations to other buyers: If your using an older model for electronic time keeping this is a great user friendly application that transitions seamlessly into our accounting system (QB)-- Much better than our previous product. If you aren't using any sort of electronic time tracking system for your employee's- this is a great product to start with. Their onboarding team and support staff are super available, helpful and accommodating.

Pros: Everything...? Honestly it's all awesome, especially when you're paying per user. Most of our employees clock in from the app on their phone, or through the website (though there are a few additional ways to clock in/out). The GPS tracking is a good feature (although it estimates wrong occasionally). Being able to have employees clock into one job, and then switch through the day to other jobs has made life incredibly easier. This has been crucial in being able to actually cost a job correctly.

Cons: Honestly, we haven't had a dislike about Tsheets...it's been awesome.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're trying to track the cost of a job (or multiple jobs) and want a GPS location for clocking in/out, this is perfect. You customize all aspects on payroll, categories, jobs...whatever, you make it work for you. The administrator can create job codes that all employees can see, or only certain ones can see (great for PTO), you can be notified (if you want) when an employee works over a certain amount of hours, or when they manually clock in/out. The reports are also great...reports can be generated based on employee, on payroll, on job. Tsheets also integrates with Expensify (for expense reports)...pretty awesome!

Pros: My review is about the customer service rather than the product. I was elated by the patient and proficient support given to me by Tsheets agent today over the phone. I had spent over 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Intuit technical support trying to get web connector to effectively work with Quickbooks desktop software. I phoned Tsheets on a different line asking for their input. They said they could help from there and so I ended my call with Intuit and phoned Tsheets. The agent helping me was so good and resolved the issue in only a tenth of the time I had been on the phone with Intuit. Even when the Tsheets agent had to ask a colleague for support, it was quick and didn't disrupt our flow. Her guidance and willingness to go above and beyond was much appreciated after a long day of technical support. Thank you, Tsheets, for hiring such amazing employees to help with support. The agent I dealt with is a definite keeper!

Comments: The website interface is a little challenging to use. Reports could be made easier to view and generate. For instance, when you select Customer, there is just the alphabetical list (which has a different font and look for some reason) instead of the most recently used Customer/jobs right at the top. There is no search function so it's a matter of scrolling and checking boxes. Not so easy or quick. We can change jobs several times a day so having a list of saying the five most recent jobs right at the top (like the website) would be good. On the app, which we like, again it would be nicer if the most recently used customers/jobs were right there at the top. On the Timesheets tab, the dates are in listed in order of most recent at the top but the times under each date are the reverse. Again, this is a cumbersome way to view the Timesheet. Your eye scrolls down to the right date, but then you have to read up on the date starting with the fist job at the bottom and time progressing up the page. There are other examples throughout the website and app that could be refined more to improve the user experience. We are not using the Kiosk so I can't provide any feedback there. On the website, if I want to edit my employee's time sheet I have to do it one line at a time. Multi-line editing would help especially when he stays clocked in all weekend and there are dozens of entries that need to be deleted and it takes multiple clicks per entry to delete. Minimizing clicks in all aspects of the website and app should be a high priority for your programmers. All in all, we are happy with the program and it is definitely helping us track time on jobs which we never did before.

Comments: Like other Intuit products (e.g., QuickBooks Online, TurboTax), hits the "sweet spot" of ease of use, affordability, and functionality--much more so than competing products which I had limited time and ability to review. Also greatly appreciate being able to use immediately, rather than having to schedule a series of demonstration and implementation calls which other HR software/vendors require, making it difficult to evaluate quickly and simply, and cancel or choose another product easily. TSheets is easy enough to use, with customer support always a convenient phone call away, for the 30-day "no hassle" trial period that one can truly evaluate it quickly and painlessly.

Pros: - User-friendly - Affordable - More than sufficient functionality to handle our small business (3 employees) time tracking and work scheduling needs - Great customer service (including on Sunday's when learning how to use and submitting first couple of payrolls, linking with Intuit Online Payroll)

Cons: - Only limitation (wish list item) that we've found is limited to single hourly rate for all jobs (job functions, activities). I, for example, am responsible for a variety of administrative and clinical duties as the Business/HR Manager and Therapist, which TSheets has helped me to better track time spent between these various duties, and left me wondering if we might utilize a "mixed hourly rate" approach in the future

Pros: My company went from just me to almost 5 people in a very short time and now has almost 10. We are an onsite organizing service and I run the business from my home so it was very hard to manually text, call, or email all the team members to make sure everyone knew where the jobs were and what time to be there. Tsheets allowed me to only track my payroll hours more easily but also let me know who was showing up to jobs on time. It is also extrememely affordable and customer service is amazing.

Cons: The only think I didn't like about Tsheets is that it was a bit hard to learn and sometimes on my phone or my employees phones it wouldn't save the log in information so at the beginning employees couldn't log in. Also, it was hard to fix a scheduling issue when employees forgot to clock out.

Pros: TSheets is what I call a real Value for Value Trade! What do I mean? Well first off, our Client's receive Value because I am able to track not only our worker's hours on the job, but also the time spent on various tasks that proves we are delivering on our contract. Second is the Value to the Worker in the form of real-time tracking of their shift and the tasks they perform. They feel empowered to be responsible to Clock In and Out of a Job Site as well as track their own productivity with Service Items. Third, the Company enjoys a Value delivered by the managed accuracy of Work Time VS Stand-By Time and the ability to track the Worker both on and off the job site. Because TSheets works so seamlessly with Quick Books OnLine, the company saves Time and Money in ways never dreamed possible! The ability to track workers in the field has never been easier or at such a low cost. Having proof that a crew was at the job site on-time is one of the most incredible value and has 100% eliminated "time stealing" from our daily concerns.

Cons: Not having it years ago! I use many types of software on a daily basis, including Mac and PC. The TSheets works flawless on iPhone and Android equally, so the majority of the staff and workers have no problems adapting to its use. I think if I did find a flaw, the TSheets staff would find a solution!

Recommendations to other buyers: TSheets has many useful features and a shorter learning curve than other systems we looked at. I found that I can use the same speaker and voice text recording feature on my iPhone to make notes quickly and easily in TSheets when on the job. This allows me to go back and reference valuable and detailed information that would typically be difficult or impossible to stop and write down. Try it and you will love it like I do!

Pros: I do Landscaping. T sheets has made me a better business owner. I can easily see how many hours into a job we are. I can easily check my teams hours and make corrections. It's nice being able to communicate to my Crew Leaders through the scheduling add-on. They like being able to have a clear sense of what the day looks like before arriving at work.

Cons: Functionality is fairly limited on a phone. When I work from the computer, it is very easy to see timesheet errors that otherwise are not as clear. I would love to be able to track materials that go into a job with this app. At this point we document them in the notes section. It would be nice to have a spreadsheet that goes with each client that has tabs like: Date, Material, Quantity, Vendor, etc. The product could be made more intuitive. My guys have been using it for a few weeks and are just starting to be able to track their time correctly. When I go to correct their times, the process is still a little cumbersome. I can make changes fine at this point, but I wish the system was smoother. Like when I want to program an alarm on my iphone, the ease of scrolling and flipping between AM and PM is so simple. I often mess up AM and PM on Tsheets and have to correct it again.

Comments: Tech support is fantastic. Every one at Tsheets that I have ever dealt with is thoroughly familiar with their product, or is able to get someone on the line right away that can help with any and all questions and issues.

Pros: We are a construction company with multiple employees on multiple jobs at any given time. Tsheets lets us track the employee time per job for us to be able to allocate the payroll costs per job. Tsheets also lets us view where the employee actually is (when clocked in) to help us prevent possible time fraud.

Cons: Some of the reports are not quite the way that I would design them (my personal opinion), and there is not an ability for totally customized reports.

Been a customer for three years and TSheets is the very BEST!

Pros: I own a consulting firm outside of Washington, DC with approximately 30 employees. Accurate timekeeping and reporting is a principal requirement for our business to ensure accurate invoicing and employee time management. We've been using TSheets for over Three years now and they have been the best technology partner we have, TSheets continues to amaze us each year not only with their tech but also with their AMAZING Customer Service! Our client services partner is always there when we need her to help with training, reporting or just about anything else we ever need! Their Client Services team is always working together to make sure we are happy with the TSheets products and services!

Cons: That I don't take enough time to learn all the incredible functionality of the system!

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't waist a ton of time evaluating other time management systems as Tsheets implements so quickly, is easy to learn and train and the customer service is so incredible that I've never considered a different partner. It's a "no brainer" decision as a CEO those are hard to come by.

Pros: It is very portable with the mobile app and it is very easy to use. It allows you to assign quick notes to remind yourself later, what it was that you were doing for that customer as well.

Cons: I guess I would have to mention that the browser app, the google add-on app, and the mobile app are all a little bit different. Each one performs the same general functions, but they all do them in a little different ways. It can be a little bit annoying to remember how to run each app separately.

Overall: Our small business with 7-10 employees use TSheets to track our billable hours. As we are always on the move and rarely in our desks, the mobile app and the browser based systems work great for us. They allow us to quickly shift between customers and projects.

Recommendations to other buyers: It is great app for tracking you time while out of office or in your desk. Simple reporting allows you to print your week end details in a snap.

Cons: Not being able to unarchive/reactivate our job number ourselves as we were able to do in the past.

Overall: When we first started with TSheets, we were able to "UN-ARCHIVE" job numbers by uploading them the way they were entered, and all time would still be there. There has been a change, and now we have to contact you to un-archive these job numbers. It was much easier when we were able to do this ourselves. If you look at our account, you will see the amount of job numbers we use... so we archive jobs regularly to not bog down the app. My request is that we are able to un-archive the jobs ourselves. Customer service is very helpful, but would like to be able to do it ourselves. Thank you

Comments: We've been using tsheets for a few years now, and the scheduling for nearly a year, and we are fans! I called the customer service agent this morning and received top-notch customer support to resolve my issues. Plus, she used the term "persnickety" (regarding quickbooks, not tsheets!) - what's not to love?!

Pros: Lightning-fast and always cheerful customer service, excellent follow-up. Aesthetic design. Quickbooks integration. Responsive to feature requests. Reports. Mapping. App and desktop integration and sync.

Cons: Some of the features are still a little clunky (customer selection in desktop scheduling and reports), and I would love to be able to tab-and-type all the way through, rather than using mouse clicks for time and customers. The "notify employee" that pops up when publishing a shift would save a lot of time and bother if it was a checkbox just above the "publish" button. "Search" in timesheets is very limited. But none of these are deal-breakers, and I imagine tsheets will address them eventually.

Comments: We are only a month into this and I can not imagine life without it anymore.

Pros: Makes workers accountable . We can see where our team are at any time. Overtime and ordinary hours calculated and adjustable makes for quick payroll. Can now see when a job is running overtime and how many hours are actually being taken to complete tasks. Helping us to quote so we include collection of materials, prep before going to site etc,.... heightened awareness of the extra we need to include going forward

Cons: It does occasionally glitch out and switch staff off?? but they write a quick note when this happens and it is easily sorted. Workers logging on from android tablets can be hard to 'see' - don't come through when you click into who's working BUT at end of day when you look at their time sheet the map is there.... small glitch? Having some trouble linking to xero payroll- but I haven't actually investigated this yet so can't blame anything- just need to tweak it I am sure. For the moment I am manually taking totals to xero - which is a short term set back. Would like to be able to to switch lunch breaks on for some and off for other staff - depending on their project - currently it is a company rule ....would be nice if we could override and select manual individualization for this feature

Comments: I needed to import time entries from one TSheets account to another. Cust support rep was able to walk me through the process and she remained my point of contact throughout the multi-day process. She was prompt in uploading the many iterations of time entries that I sent her. There were some formatting issues when I tried to send her a excel spreadsheet that was saved as a csv. She was able to identify the problems and provide solutions. We eventually got all of the time entries (except for manual time entries) imported into my new TSheets account thanks to Diane's great customer service.

Pros: Cust support rep was able to walk me through the process and she remained my point of contact throughout walked me through everything. Very helpful and patient, even with a difficult import process. I now have my data (except for manual time entries) transferred into my new account.

Cons: Transferring time entries from one account to another is a laborious process. I am disappointed that the manual time entries like vacation and PTO could not be transferred.

Pros: For an employee TSheets is a super easy way to clock in, clock out, and generally track time. Being able to have the app makes it easy to clock in and out on the go, and TSheets even allows you to set reminders to clock in or clock out at a certain time. Depending on how your TSheets is set up for you, you may also be able to edit your previous timesheets, in case you clocked in or clocked out at the wrong time. Finally, TSheets also allows you to see who else from your team is currently on the clock. This is very useful if a lot of your team work remotely or have irregular schedules.

Cons: Since I often clocked in and out several times in a day I would sometimes find it difficult to find past timesheets if I needed to edit one. A bit more clarity in this part of the interface might make it easier. Other than that however I have no complaints. The software is pretty user friendly and intuitive.

Pros: People can clock in and out easily and charge their accrued PTO, as well as some anniversary automation that we love.

Cons: The vacation schedules do not show up on the app.

Overall: Not in this particular update, but there were bugs in the past and it's been a long time since anyone has had any frustration with using the phone app. I would like to see some automated messages sent to "violators" of missed mandatory breaks and such. We will have to manually check at the end of the week and give one-to-one feedback in the meantime. It's not HR software, so, good as is.

Recommendations to other buyers: I'd like a quick-launch for each user asking me, "Is this employee required to take breaks?"and then have an SMS or alert to their phone saying, you have not taken your mandatory break, please do so now, and "If they clock out late in the morning and/or early at end-of-day, do you require the employee to type an explanation for this?" with a yes or no box. Pros: Our company is unique in that everyone works remotely and we have a mix of independent contractors and employees. TSheets allows us to see who is working, which accounts they are working on and whether it is IC or employee time. We also can run reports based on projects (in our case our customers), payroll reports on each person and scheduled time vs worked time. The TSheets reports are a huge asset in determining profitability on accounts as well. The support from TSheets is excellent. Every person that I have talked to is knowledgeable and friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel valued.

Cons: Everything is excellent. I have not had one complain in working with TSheets. In fact, I recommend them to everyone.

Recommendations to other buyers: I researched several different time tracking platforms before choosing TSheets. My suggestion is to do your homework. Don't just make a decision based off of reviews. Call the vendors and talk with them. Trust me, once you call and talk with TSheets, you won't want to work with anyone else.

Pros: Ease of use and simplicity. It does exactly what I need it to do when I need it and then allows me to be able to use the data gathered later to easily create the invoicing I need in a thorough manner.

Cons: Quickbooks, quickbooks is supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but they fail to be able to show me how to even use there product. integration with TSheets should be a piece of cake but somehow quickbooks cannot figure it out and neither can there support team.

Overall: This morning I had the opportunity to speak with support staff from TSheets support. She provided me with great customer service and answered more than what I had originally called about. She not only helped me with her product but also helped me with a few things in quickbooks I never knew as well that the quickbooks support was unable to help me with over several calls to them. TSheets continues to be exactly what I need and gives outstanding support whenever I need it. What an amazing product, Great job TSheets team! 10 Stars if I could give it!

Comments: We began talking with TSheets a few months ago, but were reluctant to start as we have several companies and wanted to be able to access them all from one log-in versus having to manage 5 different log ins for each location. At the time, y'all didn't have that as an option, but said you were working on it and would contact us when it became available. Well, about a month later it was ready to go and y'all helped set up all of our companies ( A Plus Transmission Specialists). The customer service from the get go has been unbelievable. Several hours have been patiently spent by many of your team members with us and we are so appreciative. My Rep in particular has played an integral part in the setting up of all of our companies and worked very closely with me to ensure everything was done correctly. In this day and age it is VERY rare to have positive customer service experiences, and y'all have blown us away in this category. I call and most of the team there knows me by name now and never once have I gotten the feeling that I am being a burden (I have called a number of times). Anytime we make a suggestion or bring something to y'all's attention, you tell us that you're either already working on it, or note it and see what can be done. I love that you value your customer's input and actively work to make your product better. Keep up the fantastic work!!

Pros: TSheets is very user friendly. It can effectively track what your employees are working on and gives you a detailed information on what they spend their time on. Cost buckets and projects are customizable, it can also automatically track earned PTO credits. For what it can give you, the price is pretty decent. The timer is also available and can be installed on phones, perfect if you are working on the go.

Cons: Would be better if it can provide screenshots, but that might shoot up the cost of the software. Also, location of user is extremely inaccurate.

Comments: I wanted to give kudos to Elaina M (EM1) from Tsheets for her excellent support services. She's helped us out on a number of support issues and has always been very competent on the tool and helpful. I would ranked her as the best support person I've interacted with at Tsheets and is deserving of a bonus or raise!

Pros: The tool provides some customization options and does link to other 3rd party systems such as Gusto. The Support Staff from Tsheets is spectacular. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Cons: We switched over to Tsheets because of the Gusto integration sales pitch. However, I'm very disappointed with the integration. In short, the only thing that sycns over from Tsheets to Gusto is PTO hours for salaried employees. In addition, Gusto and Tsheets record total hours worked for bi-monthly employees, which has major downstream issues with things like wage reports, labor distribution, etc. As a result, every pay cycle we have to go into both systems and manually sync up all numbers which is a major hassle and defeats the purpose of having the integration. We worked extensively with the support staff from both companies and there's nothing they can do as the two systems don't talk nice to each other. In short, if you have Gusto don't have high hopes with the Tsheet integration.

Pros: Ease of use and wonderful tech support on the rare occasion there is an issue.

Cons: Tsheet PTO default codes are not able to be deactivated. We have our own PTO codes and employees select the wrong codes for their timesheets.

Overall: Allows the employee to enter time by job and task code. Easy for managers to approve and submit. Takes the pain out of entering handwritten timesheets. Very limited issues and when something comes up, tech support is able to help quickly and efficiently. The live chat/instant message tech support is just as good as the phone-in tech support. Highly recommend. The only thing I wish we could adjust is the default PTO codes in T-sheets. We have our own PTO codes and we are not able to deactivate the default t-sheets codes. Some employees use the wrong (Tsheet default PTO) codes and it has to be changed manually in QuickBooks once imported.

Pros: T- Sheets is a great use to our company, I use it on a daily basis, it really helps me save a lot of time.

Cons: I think that there could be improvement on project reports, sometimes I can't see the whole name of the client and it would be nice to roll my cursor on it and be able to see the whole name (it used to work like that before and it recently changed). Also, when I am in project reports and a client has several jobs and I exit one job it takes me back to the original screen with all the clients and then I have to go back into the same client to see a different job. Would be nice if when you exited it took back to the client job list and be able to exit from there to the list with all the client names.

Overall: saves me time

Pros: Easy to operate for our employees to enter their time and information needed for time. Easy to run reports.

Cons: When importing time to QB we need to be able to choose he beginning date of the pay period and the end date of the pay period. Otherwise we have to call Tsheets support every payroll in order for them to lock anytime after the pay period that was already approved in order to sync the time to QB. We have to approve time everyday in order to upload the time to another program we have in order to invoice out customers.

Comments: The Tsheets crew needs to work on easier functionalities when adjusting timesheets. This said you can only make adjustments one piece at a time. For example, if a staff member forgets to clock out, management goes into the time sheet slider sections and to remove the messed up time you must erase each 3 hour increments (if auto break is enabled) this is time consuming for new users as there are many mess-ups in the beginning.

Pros: Simple to figure out and get things moving. The Tsheets layout is very good and it is easy to find what you need. Functionality as well makes this a simple product to figure out what you need to do to get up and running.

Cons: There are some areas that can use improvement mainly this has to be with the management abilities and correcting timesheets.

Comments: Just pick up the phone and ask for their help. they are more than willing to take the time to remote it to help if you need them. They have always been willing and very helpful. In fact, they ask what our company would like to see in the future to make our jobs easier. They even listen because we asked for it to integrate without payroll system and within a few months, we got exactly what we asked for. Now not only is it integrated with our accounting system but also our payroll system. No more data input errors, just click a few buttons to share information. Payroll now takes only a few minutes instead of hours. We no longer have to worry about something getting miss-keyed, either over paying or underpaying an employee. The employees are happy, we are happy

Pros: Accuracy of payroll is remarkable.

Pros: I'm not a payroll/HR person at all. It is not a skill set I have nor particularly want... but TSheets is that skill set for me. And, today, I was lost in the world of approval and clocking in and out. Elaina M. was astute in "hearing" my confusion and managed to intuit my challenges (ie, NO skills in payroll/timesheets) and figured out what I was doing wrong and gave incredibly accurate instructions. If the only skill set I need it to learn and feel comfortable with a software that can help me do this, then TSheet is that skill set BTW: it was all done through their "Chat" feature... It's amazing how much personality and support CAN come across in typed words.

Cons: Colors? Seriously, I'm not qualified to know or understand what a career HR/Payrool person might against TSheets... For me, with my limited skills...I'll be honest... I would NEVER want to be in HR/Payroll or manage a fleet of employees... but if I did... I can see how this would be incredibly efficient on a larger scale.

Recommendations to other buyers: Depends on the needs of the customer. So ... If you know what you're doing and you have a fleet of employees that need to clock in and out and are scattered to the winds, I'd recommend that this product might be a fantastic solution. If you are HR/Payroll, and know what you're doing, I can imagine syncing it up with QBO and the integration of tracking time/employee's efforts... incredible. At the office or on the road... If you have no clue.. .I.e., me... it simply is great. No matter what client i'm workgin with, and no matter what my platform is (I have several: MAC, PC, Cell phone, ipads, etc.) I know what I'm charging and how much time... and it's easy. And in one 20 minute session with my rep. ... I learned even more.

Comments: I just wanted a simple place to track my time on projects at work. I don't think this tool was built for my use case. Maybe the mobile app has a simpler interface, but I didn't get that far. After struggling to get some simple things working for a week, I transferred my hours manually to a spreadsheet. I heard from a few friends that it was a fantastic tool, but it must have been for a very different process.

Pros: The tutorial information was friendly and useful. The interface provided a lot of information for complex systems and corporate reporting.

Cons: Any time I clicked on a menu a new window appeared that I couldn't maximize or snap to grid. The time slider didn't snap to grid when I wanted it to. The manual time card had no way of re-ordering jobs. On the second week of manual timecard, I had to re-add all my jobs. Jobs can't be created on the fly (they have to be configured in the jobs area). I wanted a simple report of job hours over time, but couldn't find it or it doesn't exist. I tried scheduling my estimated job hours ahead of time and it didn't mark them as job worked.

Overall: I had recently noticed that when I was clocking in through the application, that it was not showing me as clocked in on the web based app. I went to Live Chat for assistance and was greeted by a wonderful young lady (Customer support representative). I told her my issue and she was able to give me a solution in just seconds of hearing me out. I have worked in customer service for 14 years and every company and employee within should strive to have her level of work ethic. She was extremely professional and courteous when speaking with me. I will absolutely use the Live Chat feature again in the future with any issues that arise and hope that I get her again!

Comments: I really wanted to like this service. After spending quite a bit of time on our own and with their support team over a period of weeks, I have ultimately arrived at the frustrating place that despite many good features, the service is overall way too cumbersome and difficult to efficiently use. I can see how it may be a much better fit for other types of businesses but in our landscaping business we feel like it is not such a good fit. The crux of the problem lies in the way it handles invoicing and ability to bill customers. The focus of the data here seems to be too tied to the individual employees hours and not enough on how this translates to billing hours to customers. Essentially this is a glorified time clock app with optional scheduling. That's fine but I was hoping this was a robust but simple solution that handled time tracking for employees, scheduling but also importantly, turning all that data into easy and automatic invoicing. As it stands there are free and easier apps to use for employee time clocks and scheduling and our current system of old fashioned paper project/client time sheets to invoices, is much faster and easier than T sheets. Hopefully that's something they can address! I may be willing to give it another try. Many of the features seem a bit like a work in progress.

Pros: the cloud based ability to have all our company data in one place.

Cons: non intuitive not user friendly and difficult and tedious path to invoicing from T sheets data.

Pros: There are so many options for tracking time, including a phone app, computer, web login and tweeting. I love that time can be approved before it goes to payroll and my mobile workforce can access TSheets information right within their phone. Love the people, love the product!

Cons: I wish everyone who uses it can access the help they need as easily as I do. Maybe a Facebook page for Customers? I also would like Vendor time to come into a bill automatically.

Pros: I like the ease of use for a small business. This product definitely makes time tracking easy for me. I am a HR and Payroll freelancer, I recommend this product to all of my clients that need to track time for employees, especially those who need to track time by client. The best part is that it integrates easily with my bookkeeping and payroll software so I don't have to manually enter all of the data. I used the Online Chat today and Riley Z was a great help. He answered all of my questions with ease and it took very little time to find a solution to my problem. Riley truly was a great help!

Cons: the time sheets are a bit cumbersome. I would like a summary by day that simply told the hours worked and the breaks taken. I want to know my employee worked from 7:30 - 6:00 with a break from 2-3 and 5-515 for example.

Recommendations to other buyers: When you are evaluating this type of software it is important to make sure it offers the customization needed for your industry. TSheets is easy to use and allows for many customization options. Also, make sure it will integrate with your current payroll software to avoid errors in entry.

Comments: We use TSheets to track our employee's time on the clock and the location of where they are while they are on the job. It is a great tool because it allows you to separate out travel time from install time. You can categorize different tasks with the time you spend on them, which is helpful for determining how much time is spent on a specific task. It's very simple to use and is easily installed on mobile devices. Our company uses QuickBooks and this product works beautifully with it.

Pros: Ease of use and the support you get when needed.

Cons: Some of the search features on the desktop are not as simple as on the mobile devices.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a great product and a great company to work with. I would highly recommend TSheets to anyone wanting to track their employee's time, especially when they are mobile. And even when they are not mobile.

Comments: Make a Sandbox feature for new administrators, managers, and users just because we are converting over to Quickbooks and it would be helpful for a few "screw-ups" during Testing and Evaluation. Honestly, "delete" may be a dirty word for T-sheets, but sometimes archiving isn't helpful when training people. none-the-less we are happy with the product.

Pros: Talked to the customer ep today and she was super helpful with some Kiosk setup questions and it was late at night too on the East Coast! We have used T-Sheets for a while and love this responsive, personal, and dynamic product. T-sheets philosphy is excellent as it keeps adding features or correcting old ideas and making them better based on real company feedback.

Pros: My favorite thing about TSheets is the ease of use and the best customer service in the world! It can be frustrating when you can't get thru to CS in a timely manner and then when you do you can't understand them or they don't fully tell you how to fix your issue. That will NEVER happen with these guys. They are very well trained, quick to respond and a joy to work with.

Cons: The one thing I wish was available was a way to enter multiple clock ins on the same day at the same time for each employee. Like if an employee was at 3 different jobs doing 3 different service items, I could just list them all and hit enter instead of adding 3 different timesheets.

TSheets timekeeping software has great integration and is user friendly software.

Pros: The ease of use for my employees, and the accuracy of the time tracking. Pulling reports is a breeze and working with the online support team has always been helpful and pleasant. The time tracking app is very easy to use.

Cons: Costs alittle more then some of the other timetracking softwares but its worth every penny.
Have had some issues with the Time tracking app when using android phones.

Overall: All employess have had no issues using the TSheets software/app. This software has saved the payroll department hours of work.

Comments: I've used a dozen different systems in depth and TSheets is my GoTo solution for time tracking. I actually gave up an integrated system we were using and had prepaid for (for 5 years!) because TSheets is THAT much better.

Pros: Ease of entry, multiple approval processes, mobile entry, GPS time stamping, audit trail, and some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I'm working with their support multiple times per week as I set this up for clients and have never had better help with any software. So much good here.

Cons: Honestly, nothing yet. Unapproving time is a little tedious, but it is in most softwares and TSheets walked me through the whole thing. It was relatively painless.

Comments: Shout out to the support staff to helped me on Live Support!! She was great and exemplified all the qualities that stated in the Pros section.

Pros: I really like the customer support that I receive on Live Support. Employees are always very cheerful, never make it seem as if my question is dumb, and are patient when I ask if they could hold a second while I answer the office phone. The latter I very much appreciate, as I'm sure they are quite busy but they are understanding of the fact that I am balancing trouble shooting a question I have while still being available to customers via phone calls that I cannot avoid.

Cons: I know this is supposed to be a helpful portion of the survey, but off the top of my head I can't think of any cons... I'll try harder to find something I dislike about this product in the future.

Comments: TSheets makes my life so easy. I am the project manager for an architectural design firm and if I had the knowledge and experience, I would have created TSheets myself. That's how intuitive their services are. They're extremely straightforward and easy to use, and their support staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Pros: Best support staff on the planet. Extremely easy to use. Detailed analytics. Makes it very easy to run visual project and payroll reports as well as manage hours.

Cons: There is not a feature yet to change job codes and timesheets on a mass scale. For instance, if everyone clocks in late, there's no way to log them all in at the proper time retroactively. This needs to be done one at a time.

This is a time tracker that takes the headache out of tracking employees time

Pros: The ability to track where our employees are while they are on the clock is very important to our company. Our maintenance techs work out in the field and knowing when and where they are working on a job helps keep costs low, provide better accountability, and properly track invoices for the correct job.

Cons: The mobile app does not run very smoothly on some smart phones, even brand new ones. The sync process could be optimized better to accommodate larger companies that have lots of jobs and schedules. Right now it takes over 10 minutes to sync froma fresh install.

Overall: No more paper timesheets to lose or get wrong because we could not read it.

Comments: As the account manager, When retrieving payroll reports and downloading into excel for transmitting to the accounting department, I ALWAYS needed the time logged/downloaded into excel in EST. Regardless of what the phone/the phone application was recording as its time. I am not sure if I was or wasn't doing something correctly, I provided extensive feedback to your team and I am proud to report that this IS occurring now, regardless of where my service reps are in the US. It's ALWAYS presented to me in EST when downloading into excel from the payroll reports function. I am so thankful for this service. It has revolutionized the way we account for time, for BOTH pay and job specific purposes. It saves my service reps at least 2hrs weekly from having to manually fill out trip reports. It also frees their cognitive minds from having to monitor and account for time and their job duties while on the road, enabling them to better focus on THE customer and THE job at hand. I LOVE TSHEETS. Best find for improving work efficiency within our company hands down. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW IMPORTANT THE TRIAL PERIOD IS TO GAIN NEW ACCOUNTS FOR YOUR TEAM without it, I would NEVER have been able to demonstrate to leadership it WORKS! and garner their CONFIDENCE for allocating funds for an annual account. It was so intuitive and easy to set-up in one weekend, I transformed how we are doing business. So glad it's an American Product from the great state of Idaho!

Comments: The system has helped by streamlining the time recording process. The employees are satisfied with the ease that is required to keep track of their time. Using the system has added accuracy to job costing, customer billing and payroll prep.

Pros: I needed assistance is setting up the PTO codes for the new year. Was assisted by SS1 who was extremely helpful and patient.

Cons: The main problem encountered is when using the mobile app the time entries do not always sync with the system. This is rectified by having the user resubmit.

Pros: It is a great way to keep track of time whether your employee is on site or on the road. GPS keeps it honest, and the updates, it only gets easier and better

Cons: We use QB desktop, I think it is more of a QB issue, but the sync is not smooth. Also the employee has to be set up in QB and then brought over, I wish Tsheets pushed the info instead.

Overall: The best feature is that our employees that are int in an office all day have a way to clock in and out without having to be in a physical office to do it..

Pros: I am a QuickBooks for Contractors Consultant and TSheet is my #1 recommended app. Not only does it have every feature you can think of, it downloads into QuickBooks with all the information needed for job-costing. The reports are great, and the customer service is simply outstanding. You can almost always get a live person or extremely fast (minutes!) response to support questions. No waiting on hold forever or submitting support tickets and waiting for days for a response. You get a real live, english speaking, helpful and friendly person. I never worry about implementation headaches because they will hold my client's hand through every step.

Cons: I truly can't think of anything I don't like about TSheets. There is a learning curve, of course, but they have attempted to solve every time tracking problem you can think of.

Comments: Well designed user and administrator interface, intuitive dashboard, very helpful videos if you want visuals, fair pricing model (active users only --- VERY noble and FAIR) and outstanding customer support team, make this platform an absolute must for effective and pain-less job and project costing.

Pros: Syncs seamlessly with QBO and Desktop, as well as other systems, offers several ways to track time, so team members can work how they want (i.e. clock in/out or manually edit and submit). Job and project costing are very important for many businesses, for grant management, to insure accurate comparisons and accurate profitability analyses and T-Sheets makes allocating labor and brain-time very easy for both the submitter and the accounting team. Team members sign in securely, enter and edit time and you can maintain control throughout the process. One-way sync is also secure and enables you to have full control over master system --- very well planned here.

Cons: System messages can be cryptic but customer support is available to explain and walk you through.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you want truly accurate job costing that is easy for professional team members to use, this product does all of this.

So GLAD I found Tsheets!

Overall: I have had nothing but positive things to say about this company and their product over the past year. There is a learning curve with anything new but it is so easy to get in touch and get a resolution, get training, and learn about new features. They are always adding new features that are very helpful to companies. Most importantly, the basic nature of the program doesn't change so there isn't new system to learn each time. Just subtle really helpful things to help productivity and ease of use. Really like the GPS feature! We save time and $$ by using Tsheets. Comments: Super amazing customer service. Love the join.me usage and the quickbooks linking.

Pros: LOVE that employees can edit their time sheets and that there are clock-in reminders. These are the two huge problems we had with our last software and it's simplified our lives SO much - as well as the different report breakdowns for different tasks are phenomenal and I really can't say enough good things about them.

Cons: I am not the biggest fan of the schedule. We were using When I Work previously, and the interface was a lot simpler to use and much more intuitive. Couple suggestions: - If I am creating a shift for multiple people, it would be amazing if I could assign each of the people inside that shift a different customer (maybe a tick box of some kind?) - This is my biggest beef - if I'm editing a 'series' of shifts, it edits the shifts in that series I've already published. SUPER inconvenient - how can I make changes to future shifts and have them remain that way without affecting details already published? - The schedule interface itself feels really 'stilted' and just not as user friendly as the time-tracking side of things.

And the call back to cover ground that we did not cover in the initial call - Not something I'm used to in many of the support interactions I go through on a busy day. Not only did you refresh my understanding of what real support feels like, you gave me an opportunity to experience.

Pros: Aside from the fact that this is a life saver for me keeping track of what I do for my clients, it's got great reporting functions that allow me to search for whatever information I need (time sensitive, of course).

Cons: That there isn't an app for Mozilla based browsers and that it doesn't pop up and remind me to clock out of jobs as I move on to new ones - Wait, it's not FULLY automated? Okay. I have to be accountable for that - my bad! :)

Pros: Integrates easily with QuickBooks Online (any issues that arise are quickly resolved by calling/emailing the support team). Can be set up to match our company's quirky needs with plenty of options and features.

Cons: A bit of an issue with multiple time entries for the same task on the same date when we create invoices for clients, but we suspect it's an issue with QB, not Tsheets. Still, it would be nice to find a fix.

Overall: Spoke with Customer Support today with some questions about syncing our QuickBooks Online file with Tsheets, and he was most excellent in explaining how things work! He even took the time to schedule our phone call for a time that was most convenient for me. Our little company has some unique needs, and Tsheets is able to support 99% of them. (After our thorough discussion today, I'm relatively certain that the 1% is a need that we'll have to address with QB, not Tsheets.) We've called and emailed with questions a few times before, and always get a quick response. If you're looking for simple, bare-bones time-tracking or scheduling software, there are lots of other apps and companies that can do it (we've tried them). But if you want one-on-one attention at the drop of a hat and something that is more detailed than a "one size fits all" deal, Tsheets is definitely the way to go!
