Director Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Very robust platform" April 4, 2017 5.0 In May of 2016, we decided to work with Madwire's Marketing360 software/platform after both a bad previous experience with another company and some thorough internet research. As a niche business with very little experience and history managing any advertising/marketing campaigns, we had many questions regarding the software. Fortunately, we worked with Customer support representatives, who worked very hard to provide honest feedback and guidance on our campaign to start. Now that we have become familiar with the software, we really look forward to continue using the platform as we expand our business. Pros The data delivered to users is both extremely relevant and timely The customer login/portal/dashboard is very user-friendly and easy to understand. As a caveat, I am from a younger generation that grew up using technology on a daily basis. Cons \-In the past, there were occasional reporting discrepancies when running daily reports for a given month and comparing the amounts to the same MTD reports over time (i.e. Daily ad spend / visits / conversions). However, when comparing daily reports for multiple months over time to MTD reports, the discrepancies were not a problem. Fortunately, this was a very MINOR technical issue that did not significantly impact our experience with the software. -Occasionally, we would receive "internal server error" messages when logging into the old portal during the evenings, which resulted in no data being visible. She was responsive to emails and phone calls and was quick to make changes. She had excellent suggestions on ways to grow our business and she checked in to make sure that progress was being made. I found it most beneficial to schedule monthly zoom calls with her to stay appraised of each month's goals. Pros The Marketing 360 software is very user friendly. I primarily used the email and social media marketing, but I also was able to edit the webpage when needed. I felt like it was easy to do the tasks that I needed to do. Cons I don't like the calendar feature that much for social media marketing. I feel like it was difficult to see what was posted that day, and sometimes I would accidentally double post due to the calendar feature. Pros There sales team are really good at promising you the world, but then hand you off and never get back to you. Cons Deceptive business practices used to continue to delay and push you into the next billing cycle. MUltiple deadlines were missed and no content/seo or ad work was done. They made one attempt after we finally cancelled. There team didn't even know the difference between impressions and website visits (clicks). We lost a lot of money... it's a tough pill to swallow but we got absolutely wrecked by these guys. Pros The CRM was decent. Not a bad CRM portal at all. Cons Unbelievably expensive. We were aggressively and unrealistically upsold by this platform. M360 takes far too much money for anyone to be profitable in the DTC online retail industry. I would imagine that this company is much better for things like... a dentist office that needs more leads or a seamstress of something. If you are looking to spend $ on ads and grow your online presence, this is NOT the company. They keep 37.5% of your ad budget as a fee. Making it nearly impossible to recognize true profits off of the remaining ad budget (and we were spending upwards of $6k per month so that a fairly healthy budget in my opinion. All in all... I put myself in a very bad spot using these guys. I have two other friends that I referred that are very upset with their experiences and even cc'd me on their emails to their sales person and account manager to express their frustrations. They are very disrespectful had problems in the past with communication too big of a company to handle your account they have too many on staff and stuff didn't get done. Your account is handed down to too many people and you have to talk to too many people to get it done. I thought I would give them another chance to see if they could do better but they again bad communication if one representive has a problem with you they don't give you a chance! The client is always right not the other way around?? Very disappointed in this business back then and even now. The software sounds so great but Yodle is better! I don't have problems with marketing companies just if they perform correctly this one is a SCAM and I feel for it once. Our digital presence has evaporated. My clientele has shrunk. What we have contracted for has been not been fulfilled. Our account managers have been begged us not to leave; however, they have acted in an unscrupulous and nonprofessional manner. An authorized transaction has led us to cancel our ACH agreement. I understand this is my fault, as I am only now doing the research and seeing the dissatisfaction expressed on Reddit, Quora, BBB, etc. Pros Very personable and appeared in no my business. The Madwire team has specialists for each of these areas who are easy to contact and very knowledgeable. Every time we have needed assistance this team has been ready to help and work through challenges that arise. Cons The main item that should be added to the software is the ability to link outside data feeds to the CRM. Since this feature does not currently exist, we have to manually add our clients to the CRM. It would be more efficient for us if this could be modified by adding an API connection. Pros Nothing, I personally worked with each of the individuals assigned to my account to get my website to look and do what I wanted. What they tell you when they are selling you is that your site can be customized to look exactly the way you want it to, as long as you sign up for the premium package. Thank you very much! NO they do NOT. Marketing and Sales and Production are NOT on the same page. What they create for you, what you are sold, how you are communicated with (not at all) and their internal communication is non-existent. Seriously, going with this company has been one of the WORST experiences in my practice life. Cons Being SOLD something they do not provide at the higher price point and being told that they could do it in the next couple of days and then months later it still had not happened, I had already been shuffled through 5 people and still did not have a functional website, it had broken links and was missing pictures where they should have been. Apparently thats not too much money for them and not enough to get a competent marketing person to help me out. Pros The sales guy was quite responsive though a few of the things he mentioned as part of the service were really add-ons. Cons It has been over three weeks and I still haven't been given access to to the software and no plan has been developed for me. I had my initial phone appointment and very few questions were asked that were meaningful. I have a fair amount of experience marketing and wanted to hand the marketing off to another company. I read mostly good reviews on Marketing360 so decided to sign up after talking with the sales guy. The first person who was charged with overseeing the account would take at least one day to answer a basic question. That would have been fine if the account had already been set up. The sales guy said the account could most likely be set up and running within 3-4 days. The problem is there was no plan offered and no real engagement on what I was trying to accomplish. I asked for a refund about 2 weeks in as nothing was happening and the lady in charge of the account didn't appear to know much about marketing. The sales guy said I should try someone else. I decided to give it a try, but it hasn't been any better. I still don't know exactly what this company does. Before signing up the sales guy said they could help build pages on the website and even use there web system if needed. After signing up the sales guys says their websites are not for ecommerce which would have been nice to know when signing up. I think they do facebook advertising and retargeting. The rest of the things I was sold on I really wish were true. Our rep, is absolutely fantastic and we are lucky to have him supporting our account. It would cost us exponentially more to hire someone as talented to run our SEO/PPC campaigns on our own. The constant attention and communication we receive from rep and his team on an almost daily basis is unheard of in the SEO/PPC world where most companies are just out to scam businesses like ours (which we experienced first-hand with our previous provider).
