It is easy for end users to learn and expansion of the modules has been welcomed. Pros The fact that it has enhanced our quality compliance on so many levels; from collaborating on documents to managing and documenting training to electronic quality events. We have had positive comments from auditors on our electronic processes! Cons The manual process of updating or disabling users. There are certainly things that could be improved, but they meet my needs and are responsive and supportive as we strive for excellence. Pros They provide a well implemented approach to document and training. I have had the full experience of being a newcomer and they supported me through all of my questions. Top notch customer support for my needs. Cons Due to the mass amount of services offered it can be quite daunting and confusing when you start out. You will eventually grow accustomed to it, but it isn't easy. Also, there are some pretty intuitive things that you would think you could do that you can't. Many of them are in the works and will be addressed in the future, but right now we have to find workarounds. They listen to the needs of their customers and are rapidly adapting to those requests. Cons The docs and training modules still require a lot of manual admin that could be improved with some built in logic. Pros Mastercontrol makes maintaining validation of their system very easy with their VxT tool. It's much easier than doing everything on our own. It does not crash and downtime is kept to a minimum. Pros I like that we can customize workflows. MasterControl keeps evolving with enhancements with customers in mind. Cons Rigid. But that is a good thing too. It is complicated at times and would be nice if there was some flexibility without going through the sysadmin. Pros AQEM module includes features to make it possible to customize quality event workflows improve usability for end users. We would reccomend this a lot. Pros We really like how it puts everything together. We like being able to see different metrics on things. Cons There really is not anything that we dislike. The system is easy to use for all users. Pros A good quality system englobing multiple subjets as good document management as well as training program. Cons The implementation was a little bit long to ensure all end users were adequately trained. However, the customer support is perfect. There were some training issues in the beginning but now most users are quite good at using the tool and finding the information they need. Pros Document vaulting allows multiple sites to use the tool but not see eachothers trainnees, infocards, etc Cons Finding or extracting reports. Pros Master control offers a comprehensive solution for all of your quality compliance needs. In addition to being an industry leader, they also offer excellent customer support and collaboration on any of your document management or quality management needs. Cons And users do find the quality excellence tool to be cumbersome, and there is a large training burden for general of you only users as well as end user maintenance for errors and access. The staff was amazing and the content was even better. I love the fact that we were given new insight into new opportunities and rollouts for the company. Pros The Qx Solution for MasterControl was very helpful by providing very extensive tips and tricks from a SysAdmin standpoint. Hands-on environment Cons There were no paperback copies of the materials that we went over during the Qx Excellence portion of the conference. I prefer hands on participation. I think MasterControl is really striving for high compliance and is always intaking customer feedback for improvement. Pros The Qx platform is great at maintaining strong compliance - particularly for Document Control and Training. Pros The multiple modules it offers. It is nice you can make it more customizable to the company. You can link modules together and have forms connected. Cons Sometimes it is not user friendly. We are currently implementing in the AQEM module. Pros Documents are organized, easy to find. Training is linked to effective documents, so there is no gap. Cons Some features should be easier to navigate to, but it takes multiple clicks to get to the page of interest.
