Account Manager Retail Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Using Badger for Sales Calls" February 1, 2019 4.0 I really enjoy the use of the software. It helps with organizing my trips and keeping up with my notes on how my sales calls have gone. Pros The software allows me to optimize my driving time between sales calls so I am not back tracking. It also allows me on cold calls to input all of the contact information with whom I spoke with as well as my notes on how the meeting went over all for follow up later. The software also has a feature to add similar business on my route that I may not have been aware of simply by saving the descriptive name of the same types of businesses I am targeting. Cons When I have had to manually add an account onto my route it will not allow me to pull that account up to navigate to it as well as giving me the option to add contacts and information about the call. Also when I mistakenly hit my back button to go back to the past screen it completely takes me out of the app. I know how to avoid this but it can be a nuisance sometimes. Review Source aS anthony S. The customer service is great when emailed. The person emailing to set up a meeting to discuss badger is a flake. He stands you up then blames the time difference or not having a number to call. Confusing considering you have to have to to even open an account. I still enjoy the ease and the report at the end of the week. Pros The ease of use, customer service and openness to adjusting the software to new options Cons That the auto check in isn't an option Not being able to delete history entries Not adding boundaries to an area The lack of support when it comes to having a scheduled call and being stood up. Pros It seemed to be detailed and current to the map locations Cons I didn't like how limited the amount of drops or stops you could have. We deliver a free non-profit paper and it was too costly to use the program for the amount of stops we needed to include. I couldn't export addresses from the Google Doc program, either. September 12, 2017 5.0 Pros The ability to work a particular area and maximize the best driving route to save time and money. I also like being able to visibly see what customers I need to visit by color. Cons I really wish it had built in CRM capabilities. Our company is not large enough to afford SalesForce and I don't want to have 4 or 5 different apps for functions in our business so having CRM with Badger would be worth paying extra. June 6, 2017 3.0 Read the previous page Pros Pro: I can have several delivery drivers log in to it and a custom delivery route for each one of them. Cons It tries to be a CRM when is not, is only a route planner, the check in option is not good, Zoho and other softwares are great about CRM, you should concentrate on route planning. The route plan is not really efficient, it does show a good sequence of where to go to but google maps wont necessary take you on the route that you had planned, also the route planner is not accounting for traffic stops, lights, constructions and other obstacles along the way, google will direct you and I have found that it will take you thru longer routes. Cons: We paid the yearly subscription to save some monthly cost, but now after using it for a few months have found other options that concentrate on delivery much better and would like to cancel our subscription and where told we couldn't. The cost of the service is easily made up by increased productivity. Pros My work requires 30-50 stops per day on routes that change every day. Badger Maps allows me to quickly enter addresses, optimize the route with a beginning and end location, and then save the route for editing and updating later. Cons Since I typically have more than the maximum 23 stops per route, I have to combine routes which doesn't always give me the best optimization. Review Source JR Jimmy R. Cons Sometimes when you sort for "places" it adds places that aren't pertinent to the search. For instance, when looking at places under the "chemical" heading, it pulls up some gas stations, swimming pool supply stores...when I'm looking for more of industrial chemical manufacturing. We are able to assign projects more efficiently as well as see what is near a job site ie Supply Houses or other projects. Pros I liked how easy it was to use the site. It displays information quickly and clearly. The training links are helpful and the site is pretty user friendly. Cons We have just started using the site so this may be a training issue. Well thought out. Allows you to manage the expected basics and tracks history. Cons It's not remotely intuitive. Settings and filters are confusing and limited to text or numbers. Can't choose your own color coding which conflicted with our own. If you screw up your upload you'll have to start from scratch. But the single most frustrating thing is it only PUSHES to google calendar it won't pull whats already there which took a ton of time to re-enter, then wipe Google for duplicates. Pros The customer service is AMAZING and I love that it connects with Waze. I have t used it to its full capacity. It I can't wait to get into it a bit more Cons I feel like the cost is a little high if you have over 60 accounts you want entered. I have 200+ and really only use it for route planning and directions so seems too expensive. I would never put sales. Pros I love that I can enter all my stores, and then draw a circle around the stores I want in each route. I can click on optimize, and it gives me the most efficient route for those stores within a route. When I go on a route, I click on a store, and it uses Googles Maps to route me there. Within each store, I can enter how long it takes, and I know how long my whole day will take. I also can check in and enter notes in each store. It definitely makes my window cleaning routes and their preparation easier. Cons I have less than 60 accounts, so the price per month is great. But I am almost to 60, at which point the price jumps up a month. That is over twice the price of a competitor, which I haven't tried yet so I can't comment on how they compare. They were quick to get back and to follow up. With a little practice you can use filters very easily to streamline your weekly reporting Cons There are several items that I thought we be more helpful in the reports line but found out later they cost more. Pros As a new Account Manger with a very spread out territory, Badgers Optimal Route Planner was a great assist in my productivity and made the planning of my day optimal. Customer Service was beyond any other app I have purchased, they offered to input data for me! Great Purchase! Cons Nothing I do not like. Used the software for: ### "Best Sales App" November 16, 2016 5.0 I love this app. Before Badger, I spent at least one hour every day trying to figure out the shortest route to and between my customers. More often than not that plan was ruined by prospects cancelling last minute or changing appointments , which was frustrating. With Badger this has become so much easier and more convenient and I like how the app even enables me to find new leads. I can totally recommend it to any sales person out there! It has been a real lifesaver for me and I just love how easy it is to use. Another plus is the support team. I had to call in once because I was not able to set up my accounts properly and they talked me through the entire process and even offered to do the entire set-up for me. Awesome! The only "complaint" I have is the route limit of 23 stops, but I was reassured that the limit will be extended soon. Review Source JP Jason P. Hope to even have some prospects added to the app for watching soon too. Cons Before not having enough points and a HUGE price jump. Now not being able to log in to my upgraded account after paying the same amount, getting charged again and hoping I get a refund (that Tim promised) for the rest of the month that was double changed. They call me and make sure that everything is running correctly and in a lot of cases I didn't need any help but it was there just in case. The usability was amazing and I didn't need to do much to learn the software. Cons Can be pricey. My company is not expensing the finances for the program.
