"We transitioned to Visual ClubMate. in August of 2013. It has allowed us to raise our service level to our members & guests. Our MAC team members have also found it to be a very positive addition having reporting capabilities, scheduling, class lists, responsive POS & many more features at their figure tips making their job easier. Having had Visual ClubMate. at previous locations it was an easy decision to make the switch. John & his team are always available & willing to think outside the box to meet the needs of your operation."

Pros

The support and development staff are efficient and professional every time.

Cons

The Point of Sale needs some visual upgrading, though they are in the process of doing that now.

There are lots of additions or upgrades to be made in line with technological advancements globally. Especially as it relates to our local standard for payments etc.

The detailed reports were helpful for our facility. It was also helpful that the system retained all past and current member information in case someone re-signed up for services, and also to help generate leads and contact groups.

Pros

How detailed it is. I can pull multiple reports and get creative or very specific with information found. I liked the point of sale home page, and also found comfort in the fact that almost every transaction was reversible in the case of an error. The home page was very easy for members to recognize when signing in, which is great. Also, the graphs and tables created in certain reports were very helpful visuals.

Cons

The countless details also created a system that was complicated at times and not well-suited for our smaller facility. We did not need more than half of the functions available, and therefore felt we weren't using everything we were paying for. Also, the credit card batching was not very customizable. Had a few negative experiences with tech support.

In an effort to accommodate the smaller facilities like yours we are introducing a VCM light version that will allow you to pick and choose exactly what modules you will use and pay only for those. Pros

Tracks all entries and memberships. It all also allows me to see the amount of clients per day. The POS is very simple to use and I love that it records every single transaction.

Cons

Crystal viewer keeps giving problems however once customer support is aware the problem is fixed. The reports can sometimes be tedious to read, especially the daily, monthly, expiration's.

I would like to add that due to your response regarding the crystal reports we have completely rebuilt an entire new reporting module that will be available for you within the new version of our VCM Software. You will now have the ability to completely customize all reports to reflect your company branding, as well as, filters to include whatever data your choose within each individual report.

Very pleased with Visual ClubMate. We've utilized several different software's at my Health Club, with ClubMate being the one I've been most impressed with! Would reccomend to anyone and everyone.

Pros

Effortless tracking of guests/members. Access to Scheduling Sessions, Events and Programs. Customer Support is reliable and quick. Ability to track growth. Paperless Documents with access for clients!

Cons

So many options, not a bad thing. Allows for customization and more control over what I view.

Pros

Customer Support - they work with me in all ways, even suggestions I've made they have incorporated them into the system.

Cons

Sometimes things don't work correctly, but they are always good to get back to me right away to work thru the issue.
