As a freelancer working with different sales teams, it helped me present materials in a more organized and professional way. The platform improved my efficiency and client communication. I also appreciated the onboarding tutorials, responsive customer support, and the intuitive design of the tool. Pros High spot is a very user-friendly system and supports sales and marketing teams to make it easy for them to manage content. I liked that I could easily find the best resources and share with clients. The search functionality is great and saves me soooo much time. And it makes it incredibly easy to organize documents, monitor engagement and collaborate with other members of the team. The user-onboarding process was quick and painless. Cons At times the analytics dashboards are slow to load particularly when filtering by custom date ranges, this is as frustrating while reporting. The mobile version is also much slower than accessing it from the desktop on my phone, which also makes it more difficult to quickly access the functionality you need on the go. Pros Can build an incredible database with documentation that you can also share with customers externally in an easy manner. Cons To be honest I wouldn't know anything to dislike on the product side. It can get messy in the tool if content is not kept up to date and clean, but that's a human error. We use the platform in different ways. Most commonly it is used to host marketing documents, PowerPoint presentations and important content for sales staff to use in their presentations and customer research. The platform was also used to run our induction and training programs, as well as sales games for reps. On Highspot, customers also have a dedicated space where they can archive important documents, such as presentations, proposals and contracts, that they need to keep. Finally, we have recently added and acquired Highspot LMS, which allows us to offer new training and classes to our reps. Pros Our reps' ability to "edit in Word online" or "edit in Excel online" is admirable because they don't have to download a document, edit it and then upload it back into the system. Any changes are automatically logged and entered directly into Highspot. Later, they can be displayed directly from the stage. The search function within the application is very accurate and finds the most relevant information based on questions from our representatives. Cons The Highspot presentation could benefit from some modifications to give reps the ability to take notes similar to what PowerPoint offers. Depending on how many "spot" areas each person has, it can make the platform slower. Last year we detected that problem and fixed it with the help of the Highspot support team, who helped us make modifications and edits. At this point, the problem no longer exists. Pros I really like Highspot. It was really intuitive in searching for the correct materials and since my company had a lot of materials loaded into it, it would also show related materials. Sometimes I would be looking for one thing specifically, and then would see other options and pick them because they were better so I appreciate that it brought out all the related items in the search. Highspot also allows you to share materials directly with others without having to download and send an attachment. Cons The only drawback was having to "remix" materials if you wanted to grab one slide from a deck and add it to another. Depending on the number of slides you were "remixing" it could take a long time for it complete. Because of this I shied away from sharing it that way and would often just download the material and send it out directly. Switched from [Seismic](https://www.capterra.com/p/140225/Seismic/) I wasn't the decision maker but I imagine that it was because we wanted to get away from downloading material and sending them as an attachment, where with HIghspot, we can share the material directly with the client. The client can view it but not download it so we don't have random materials out there. It has made my work life so much easier by it's amazing features such as, allowing users to share content over internet with clients/prospects, Browsing and searching for content based on certain parameters like, product line, customer segment and region. Also, it's Machine Learning capabilities regarding understanding it's users pattern and behavior is simply amazing. Pros I love the ability to upload the content and share it with the clients/prospects and tracking when a customer is opening the content which we had sent. It gives me a clear idea at which stage my prospect is and what he has accessed and what areas I need to focus on during the demo with those clients. Cons there is nothing to dislike about this tool. I had some issues earlier where there was some lag in accessing docs but it's all been sorted. For the most part it's working well and I like it more than when I had to dig up those things in Confluence, but it still isn't as streamlined as I'd like. Pros I like the organization of documentation and resources in Highspot and I like that I can easily preview documents before downloading them or accessing them to send to a customer. The ability to see others' comments and reactions to documents is helpful to as I seek those that are most heavily used. Cons I feel like the search function still doesn't do a great job of finding what I need it to. This was always my concern when I'd search for things in our Confluence instance when this type of documentation existed there. Highspot is definitely easier to navigate but I still don't feel like I get directed to the materials as easily as I'd like to. It often takes a lot of digging and repeat searching. I have had a good experience, highly recommended. Pros Highspot is a platform for the organization of business content and workers, it has many very useful tools to improve the organization of companies, maintain communication with the client, and store many files. The upload system is very convenient, it works very fast, and also the integration with Google Drive is excellent. Overall, it's a very good platform for the specific job you're asking for. Cons It can be difficult to understand the interface at the beginning, it is not very intuitive. I wish there were more ways to personalize databases because normally it would happen that files accumulate in the same folder, and at that time I wish I had more freedom to manage those files.
