Pros: So so simple. The program itself is the cream of the crop, but the transition (of 1000+ lines, from an onprem solution) was nearly flawless. No panic moments, no late nights. Two days and we're done! Best migration ever.

Cons: Hard to nitpick. Some of the admin features could be more well developed and the most unpleasant feature of this software is the price tag.

Pros: I think it's a valuable piece of software, however, I tend to give out my personal number because of the nature of my work.

Cons: I like the interface where you login initially, but after that, the software seems a bit clunky and unintuitive.

Pros: The value of the service is the best benefit. You will have access to multiple conferences lines and access to text messaging from your computer.

Pros: This software is very easy to use especially for non-technical users. Has a text functionality from the platform that higher end systems don't have.

Cons: Account manager was always trying to upsell. Account manager didn't want to be bothered if you weren't buying more. Support is email only unless you pay for a higher package.

Overall: Using a cloud based software without having to invest in hardware. Great for users that weren't in Salesforce.

Pros: I like that the software is affordable, reliable, and accessible in many different ways. I use it as the main business line for my company and adding/removing users is super easy, creating a main line is easy, and having access to your phone via apps anywhere you are is fantastic.

I also am very impressed with their quality and their customer support. I was having an issue with call quality, and I couldn't tell if it was my bluetooth headphones or my wifi. Their team got REALLY technical digging into the transmission details from my call, and told me there was a lot of chatter on the wifi. I ended up just running an ethernet cable and have literally zero problems anymore.

Cons: The mobile app is good, but somehow not as reliable as the desktop software. I've had some issues making calls, and turn around and dial from my regular phone number and it works fine. I would suspect this has something to do with the fact that Dialpad uses internet instead of the regular phone line, but if I have plenty of LTE signal for a phone call I would think Dialpad would also work.

As a result I generally just feel safer taking important calls from the desktop.

Overall: This software has allowed me to spin up or down business operations with the flip of a switch, and gives you a VERY full featured office phone solution for a fraction of the price of other companies. When comparing this to hardline phone systems, I honestly don't know why any company wouldn't just use this instead (as long as your computer has an ethernet connection).

Pros: I think this software is easy to use and I like that it integrates with your mobile phone as well, allowing you to answer calls from either your phone or your computer. I like that it also has video chat and texting capabilities, these really come in handy

Cons: I wish the mobile connection was more reliable. Many of the users in my office have trouble with trying to answer calls on their mobile phone that are dropped when they pick them up, or they'll answer on the computer and their phone is still ringing. It can be inconvenient to have a call lost when you tried to answer it.

Overall: Makes it easy to take office phone calls anywhere, from your computer or mobile device. Love the video chat and texting features.

Pros: The features are amazing. We saved money by going this route rather than the traditional phone system offered by our local phone company. It keeps things super organized in your conversations with other team members and with all of your contacts in general. We can't say enough about this product and are so happy that we went with Dialpad.

Cons: It's an internet phone, so if internet is down, the phones are down. However, we knew that this would be the case when we signed up for it. It's features definitely outweigh the cons.

Overall: Better communication, ease of access, and way smarter than a traditional desk phone.

Pros: I admit I was somewhat hesitant for our office to move from a traditional phone system to a cloud-based one. After using Dialpad for nearly a year, I honestly can't remember why I had hesitations in the first place! This system makes my work communication simple and efficient. I'm in and out of the office all the time, so it's been great to be able to answer work calls wherever I am. Our staff uses the messaging function to interact with each other on team projects. I love the fact that you can easily look over your call history list and edit call information to the name of the caller -- I don't have the need to scribble phone messages on paper anymore because it's all conveniently on the app! In addition to receiving voicemails on your phone, you can get emails including them too, so if you need to pass the message on to a co-worker, it's just a simple email forward away. Another awesome feature is the call data. You can track how many people are calling your organization during a specific time period, what percentage of those calls are getting answered, and who in your organization is making the most calls, along with much more data. These metrics can be used in a variety of ways to make your staff more efficient and engaged.

The interface is easy-to-use and understand. Once you have the app on your device and configured appropriately, it's nearly problem-free. It makes me more accessible to our clients and helps keep our team on the same page -- what's not to love?

Cons: The number one issue you will need to get used to using this product is the slight delay that happens from when you speak your words to when they are actually heard. This results in a lot of accidental talking over your caller, but once you use the product for a while, you will get the hang of it.

You can set up the app to use wifi or your calling plan. If you use your calling plan (which you must when you are away from a wireless router), you can get calls with bad connection or even drop a call. If you do have an issue during your call, you have the ability to give the call a one to five star ranking. If you rank the call low, you can add details about the problem, and then support will take a look and try to address the problem if possible. So there are issues, but I think the benefits definitely outweigh the negatives.

Pros: Dialpad makes it really easy to add/remove users. Also, having the ability to see when another team member has answered a department call is very useful.

Cons: The call routing features are not explained very well when you are trying to establish a workflow for incoming calls for departments. We always have to test these features and it usually takes a few attempts to get it right.

Overall: The software provides transparency into how timely our support team is addressing client calls.

Pros: Great desktop and mobile applications to answer calls from anyway. Their recent offering of Uberconference for free with plans has also made video conferencing a breeze. We've gotten multiple clients using enterprise-level conferencing software always let us setup the meetings once they've tried our Uberconference system.

Cons: It'd be nice if you could change account settings directly through the desktop application without having to visit the Dialpad website to perform such actions.

Pros: I love that I can use my own phone, without giving my number out to strangers. It's a great way to make sure that connections don't have to stop just because I'm not at my desk.

Pros: The most important thing is the quality of the calls. I rarely have any choppiness or dropped calls. The desktop app is great with the ability to turn on do not disturb and the ability to switch seamlessly from a desktop call to a mobile call is great.

Cons: I wish it was possible to create voicemail only users either for free or at a lower cost without having to purchase all users a full seat.

Pros: Whether you run a company, work with a small team out of co-working spaces, or simply work from home - most of the time you want to have a separate phone number for work. Dialpad is an awesome solution, I think it comes at a fair price and is a super easy way of getting a work phone number and using it from anywhere, on your phone, computer or tablet. The website and the app are super easy to navigate and the calls have been great (given you have good signal or WiFi connection). One of the best features is the weekly call summary you receive via email as well as emails when you have a new voicemail.

Cons: Unfortunately we have had a few times where the app crashed or the call wouldn't go through, but hopefully that can be resolved with new software updates. This happened so infrequently though so it's not a big problem.

Cons: Customer support and app features are horrible. We received a number for our company via their app and we have been receiving a lot of spam calls. Pros: Dialpad allows me to forward calls to my cellphone. I also like the not available feature. It's also nice that Dialpad forwards my voicemails to email.

Cons: There was a period of time when my number would have a message saying it was disconnected for select callers. Our IT department asked Dialpad and they said it was the other caller's fault. I also wish it was easier to get print outs of my records and forward voicemails in MP3 form

Pros: Quality, ease of use, great value

Cons: Sometimes if my clients login before I do, my audio options disappear and I have to end the call and it drops everyone off... it's not very professional.

Overall: UberConference is my favorite conference call and screen sharing product. I love the clean and user friendly interface and find the product very easy to use. Call quality is great and the price is very reasonable. However, my clients sometimes have a hard time with connecting to audio for the first time. It's not clear to them they have to select an audio option. It might be a good idea to use a pop-up window once they log in to allow them to select an option. It would be wonderful to add a video option as well as allowing a viewer to control your screen. I like this product and use it multiple times a day. Looking forward to continuous improvements.

Pros: Great, easy for me and my colleagues to use.

Cons: There are a few problems: 1) Not compatible with Safari. 2) "Adding a caller" is a flawed feature. First, I can't tell the status of what is happening when the system is dialing out. Also, I can't call someone if there phone number includes an extension (which happens quite often). 3) People are often confused when they connect to the conference via web. The caller ID information is often wrong so the user sees unfamiliar names and thinks they are in the wrong place.

Overall: I use Uberconf to conduct customer research interviews. Generally a great tool, but a couple of problems. First, it's not compatible with Safari which creates a problem for some people. Also, I can't seem to dial out to people whose phone number requires an extension.

Recommendations to other buyers: See cons.

Cons: I wish I would receive notifications of text messages, but that is possible only if customers text a different number from the main line. That's too complicated and I would never give clients two different numbers.

There have been a few small bumps with the phone app. (A little slow to update & incorrect syncing of the voice mails). Dialpad has been constantly improving the apps so it appears all issues have been corrected. Service has been great. I would highly recommend.

Comments: Overall this is a very nice product. I used to work for Vonage Business where I was the product owner for their web based soft phone, so I feel like I'm pretty well versed in softphone functionality. It would be nice if there was an emoji library that allowed you to select emojis like you can on a smart phone. Also Dialpad is the one application that always stops me from shutting down by forcing me to quit first. It would be nice if I could shut my mac down without having to quit.

Pros: EASY, Good support.

Cons: When I tell an application to quit, I don't want any back talk, dialogs, or confirmation buttons!

Overall: I find DialPad quite handy for reaching out to people in the company either by voice, or text. The interface is simple and the notifications (in OS X) make it so I don't miss messages. The support staff I have worked with are friendly and helpful - this is critical - management wants this stuff to just work, and the support staff makes it all come together.

The reason I gave almost no 5*'s... DailPad won't quit. No literally, it's insistence on staying running is my only problem with it. Other than that, All good.

Overall: In my career I've used a few different desktop phone's but Dialpad thus far has been the clear winner. The interface is very friendly and easy to use and the audio quality has been better than other solutions in the past.

I also really like the ability to send text messages as well!

Recommendations to other buyers: Strongly recommend Dialpad over similar competitors

Pros: Easy to use, technical support is superb.

Cons: Software is sensitive, so a few tweaks on the router's settings would make it work better.

Overall: The software is very easy to use. A little tweak done on the router's settings would make this program work better, I guess those people who have problems with the software just needs to reach to technical support, which is one of the best support system I've dealt with. Technical support representatives are very polite, keen and has sense of urgency.

Pros: Ease of use, Salesforce Integration, app layout.

Cons: No keyboard hotkeys to do routine tasks (answer a call, send a text)

Overall: Dialpad came just in time. Our old phone system wasn't NOT working, but seemed a little too big for what we needed. Our company has about 30 employees in the office so we only needed a few features like call recording, a auto-attendant, and Salesforce integration. The added ability to connect Salesforce with 1 click made my job easier with auto call logs (complete with the type of call and how long it was). I also really enjoy the ability to switch to your cell with the app! Click to call with the Google Chrome extension completed the wow-factor. I absolutely LOVE Dialpad and would recommend it to any small business who doesn't need a physical phone.

Pros: Easy to use, works well most of the time.

Cons: Voice latency when on a computer or laptop, poor voice quality with PC-connected Bluetooth headsets (that otherwise worked well when connected to deskphones / cellphones)

Overall: Dialpad was our first choice when switching over from an in-house SIP server (Switchvox). We didn't want to manage our own server or hardware anymore. Dialpad has eliminated hardware failure risk and a lot of the administration we had before. It was also comparable cost-wise. Replacing our desktop SIP phones has been mixed, as the software client works well mostly but does introduce some latency into conversations...so we may purchase a few OBI SIP phones from Dialpad. Sadly our existing SIP phones don't work unless we upgrade to the much more expensive Enterprise plan, so we'll have to sell those.

Overall very happy and I think it's improving all the time.

Recommendations to other buyers: Features keep getting added, but at a price...so be sure you know what it can do and can't do.

Overall: Making the switch from a legacy telephony provider to Dialpad has been the single smoothest transition I have ever had with a vendor. The on-boarding experience, the customer support, the excellent value, and no longer being locked into multi-year contracts for a service I want to consume flexibly. Dialpad has exceeded our expectations and untethered our internal teams from their legacy desk phones.

Comments: We recently switched from another platform to Dialpad and so far have had a great experience. The interfaces are very beautifully designed. The texting feature is convenient. And the iPhone app is easy to use and integrates well. The only downside I have seen so far is that disconnected phone numbers will ring for a while, and also sometimes the iPhone app can be a little spotty. (i.e. a call to your number won't ring your phone, only your desktop. Or if you're on a phone call with one number and someone else calls, sometimes it won't let you change to the other one) To be honest these things don't bother me that much because the Pros of Dialpad far outweigh the Cons.

The back end functionality is what you would expect from a much more expensive system. It is also the ideal system to expand as our company grows. Glad we found Dialpad!

Cons: I really cant think of any.

Overall: I migrated to Dialpad from RingCentral. Getting ahold of someone at RC was extremely difficult, their tech was outdated, and likely as a result their product was overpriced. After a year of service, I can't recall a single update that I found beneficial. With Dialpad their team has been extremely responsive, every single time I ask for help or ask a question. Their mobile and desktop apps are world class. Best of all....they are constantly innovating. Their recent updates page is packed with excellent new features/updates. I love the web portal. Comments: I've been using dialpad for 4-5 months. It's a great piece of software with tons of potential.

However a few small easy to implement features (I'd imagine) are missing

-No personal extensions
-VoIP / iOS calling like Facebook messenger calls - have to finagle notifications to alerts for dialpad and have it forward call to your phone as your office line so that a) you can tell it's a work call and b) who's calling
-the contacts functionally in dialpad is a disaster
- I remove a phone number for a user and he user, is expect to not be billed for that user
-SMS/mms was broken, got a support run around then they fixed it
- seems the company forgot about the on the go small business user since the SoftBank deal and investment seed that was pretty impressive

Calls are clear. The software itself is impressive. Both desktop and mobile. When dialing out from your contacts you aren't given the option to choose the number. Only when making a call with the new call button - so make sure your default settings are set.

I do believe within the next year or two this will be the best phone solution there is. Just some work to do between now and then

Cons: No SIP calling to systems that use it like Cisco or MS Lync.

Overall: Our experience is two-fold and in both cases it worked out well. The way Dialpad transfers DID numbers is brilliant. Instead of a potential outage during the porting process, you get temporary numbers that allow you to continue use with no downtime. As long as you can forward your current numbers, your customers won't even know the difference. Then once the numbers do port, it's seem less and invisible to users. The other great transition piece was in the form of the apps. Really simple for end users to configure on their own without much interaction with the in house IT staff or Helpdesk.

Being able to message both internally and externally is a huge help in our business where timeliness is so important. Call quality is usually spot on, and I can see it getting better all the time. Overall: When we were on the hunt for a new phone system we looked at every options - none had great reviews when you drilled down in the details. We came upon Dialpad via Uberconference - their free conference service and learned about the phone service. We are glad to have found them.

While there are some small issues here and there, for the most part, Dialpad is by far the best phone system we have ever used. Not only is the price right, but the customer service is top notch with a response coming shortly after emailing or calling.

The system is feature rich and while we have had some bugs over time they have typically been fixed or address fast.

They recently started to support a variety of desk phones so you are no longer forced to buy the one brand they sell. Additionally, they continue to release updates about every two weeks.
