Pros I love how easy Ideanote makes collecting and voting on ideas within a company or organisation. They're really thought out the product. Before ideanote we were losing amazing ideas in email and text threads but now we have one, centralized place to keep track of them and make sure they make it full circle into our clients work. Now I have a way to record important notes AND be able to reference them when I need them. For me, unlike I am sure many other users of the platform, getting feedback from clients/users is just a side benefit. Cons I still need to find better ways to incorporate client feedback into my Ideanote workflow. This is of secondary concern for me since I mainly use the platform for internal idea management, but I know I can improve on the client-facing side of things. I have been looking at Hearken but when I found IdeaNote, I am very happy for it serves what Hearken does at an affordable price, easy deployment, and customizable system. Unlike messenger applications where a lot of things happen, Ideanote brings clear purpose. Cons I would like to be able to switch to a default or recommended font. While setting it for white labelling I picked random font that was awful, and then had to spend a lot of time getting a font that was nice. The only real issue I've found is the need for external users to register before submitting ideas or commenting. If this could be made easier (via social log-in from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) then I'd rate it even more highly. Pros It's a neat take on the old-fashioned ideas box. Users can submit ideas while others comment on them and vote them. Lots of potentiel uses especially for extending ideas genrations outside of the the organisation.
