Pros Box Edit works wonderfully. Being connecting through the web is a flawless venture. The new Box Drive brings users a software to run on their computer rather than the typical web interface. This can put users at ease about large changes Cons Box Sync can be a nightmare to work with. From racking up CPU usage to corrupt date it can out and out be a nightmare to administer. Users often find ways to bring the sync functionality. I was participating at a statistical course and the instructor was using Box. Pros The most I liked about this software is that it is a secure content sharing platform that allows the instructors to share class reading materials with students. If you are an instructor, you don't have email readings to your students. You just upload them to your Box account and share them with your students. It allows us to securing communicate and transfer files. Pros The most important thing for me is the security aspect since I use this for important documents such as tax forms, etc. I also appreciate how easy it is to use. After two minutes of being within the software I was able to use the functions I needed to. Cons I think the messaging could be improved. At one point I was using it with my collaborators, but I didn't realize I needed to refresh the screen to see a new message. If the messaging could be made live so you don't have to refresh the screen that'd be great. Or a notification for a new message. Review Source MB Morgan B. The app is also convenient for "on the go" access to work documents. You are also able to have it link to your documents on your desktop. This allows you to get to your documents without actually having to access the website. Cons The only thing that would be a con about this product is that sometimes I have to restart my computer in order to open excel or PDF documents, but that does not happen often. Pros The infinite amount of storage is amazing for file sharing large projects and overall storage. I’ve never had a storage issue. It is very easy to use. Cons The two factor authentication sometimes is annoying to sign in. But it does integrate very easily with Office365 which is handy. There's a mobile and iPad app and both are good. Cons I sometimes feel it's a bit overbearing on the idea of sharing files, sometimes when you want to keep files private to you it's a bit irritating with "share this" buttons everywhere when you're not interested. Box made it easy to link to and organize important files and videos. It was so easy to upload and share without having to worry about permissions. Pros At the time, I was looking for a valid software which allowed me to easily share my files, and this one has been of the best I've ever used, with his user-friendly interface and a really valid free-space for new users. Cons Honestly, to me it was really good as it is. This software is excellent and I really recommend to give it a shot.
