Cons I do not like how image/video storage works on box and the latency. If you are storing and sharing images and videos through box, it will take you a lot of time if you are looking for a specific image/video and clicking on each image, it takes so much time to load even with a very high speed internet. Its cross-platform capabilities let you share files from any device, such as Laptop, Android phone, Tablet, Mac-book, or iPhone. Cons We have not faced any difficulties with Box so far. We have tens of thousands of files, if not hundreds, and they're all easily found via the Box app and website. Pros Box makes organizing our server a breeze and finding files quick and easy. The search function and the ability to filter by file type is huge. Cons Depending on specific settings set by the admin, file links sometimes disappear and become inactive. Appart of that it was simple and working fine. You can also have a shortcut on your file explrorer on windows, which is great Cons Nothing that i can see. As our main work is logs management and analyse the logs by taking it from customer. This work is easy with Box to take logs and to see the issues with easy storing and sharing capabilities. Pros 1\. Helpful in storing and accessing large size files with ease and security. 2. Easy login if there is a account and can provide permission to each file. 3. Sharing files with short links, handling company data and signatures are effective and not a big deal now. Cons 1\. October 7, 2024 4.0 Box was utilized for my first 2/3 years with this current company. The company as a whole made the transition from Box to OneDrive for Business. As a front end user, I did not see any issues with Box and think it was a great solution, but I believe the company as a whole transitioned to overall integrate more of Microsoft's Office 365 for simplicity and consistency. Pros Box does what it is supposed to do. It worked well as a backup solution and I always felt confident my documents and data were secure and easily accessible through desktop or mobile means.
