Pros Box is one of the great cloud based file sharing platforms. The ease of managing and organizing the files in a systematic way makes the Box an ideal solution over the other available file sharing platforms. When working in a business environment, it is super easy to share the files with the relevant access levels among the colleagues. Cons Nothing at all. All things are perfect. Cons Il met arriver d’avoir un problème de connexion dû à une erreur technique, mais c’est arriver 3 fois depuis que j’utilise ce logiciel ce qui est pas beaucoup. That is more than all of my other drives combined. Also, it has the same type of android compatible app as my other drives do and give the same ease of use. Box give me an overall better value than the others. Pros Box comes with an enormous amount of initial space compared to the other cloud storage drives. Cons I am very happy with this software. Very reliable, sturdy cloud storage! Pros Absolutely love how BOX organise all the folder structures. It makes it very easy and intuitive to use - much like using a windows folder structure. Also has the benefit of powerful search functions. As we are supplied log ins for this from our supplier, I am unable to comment on costings etc. Cons Really wasnt anything we didnt like about the BOX software, we are a relatively light user and so never had an issue with it. It always functioned as it was supposed to and had all the features we needed! That is a testament to the fact that Box consistently serves its purpose well and we continually find positive ways to use it within our company. The glitches we do come across seem to be fixed very swiftly. Pros The best thing about Box, in my opinion, is the ability it gives my organization to utilize cross-collaboration within our projects. Multiple different teams can share and edit files, we can collaborate using Box Notes and it keeps everything exactly where we need it. It's also easy to search for whatever file you're looking for at a given moment. Cons My only complaint with Box is that every once in a while, the site will become unresponsive. This doesn't happen often, but when it does, everyone in our organization has trouble opening and editing files, etc. Review Source Ashirwad B. It provides the necessary encryption that are typically required when working with sensitive data. Pros Box allows for fetching and pushing data through its API, a feature that I often use along with version control to manage data and code separately. Cons For personal plans, Box charges $10 for 100GB storage, which is almost 5 times what Google charges for the same storage space. Drag-and-Drop is a great addition to the UX. Collaboration and file access permissions are great options. Price-wise Box is on par with its competitors. I actually prefer it over other cloud storage softwares I've used but we've never made it our hub for storage unfortunately. Pros Box has been super easy to use and very intuitive. We don't use it every day or even every week but when we have to access old files they've always been simple to retrieve and easy to utilize. Cons We have been limited to the size of the uploaded file. I'm not sure why this is but it is rarely a problem. It's something like half a gig so there aren't many files that big for us at least. Cons I wish it kept all the folders shared with you in a single place (e.g. under a single folder at the root level) so that the root folder view doesn't get so cluttered. It is easy to use and manage. Pros I like that I can easily upload files from my desktop or iPhone easily. I also like that it is very easy to share files with others quickly. This enhances collaboration and efficiency. Cons I've only used the free version and the storage amount can be hit quickly with heavy users. Also, every time updated my file, it shows the version no. So, I can track the changes of the documents whoever updated the file. It is also secured and easily manageable. Cons I would be happy if the storage capacity is increased. Also I want to see it's offline version. So much better than putting on the network." May 17, 2018 5.0 Pros Gone are the days when we had to put stuff on the H drive if we wanted others to be able to see it. We can access files from across the country, and even make files visible to certain people instead of everyone. You can also edit documents in live mode so that other people aren't changing something and uploading a different version that you were working on. Being able to search for anything in the search bar is so handy too. Cons It can get disorganized quickly if too many people have access to main locations. There are disorganized people that easily clutter things. That was way more than any other cloud storage service I have ever had. By the time I had to expand, I had so many things uploaded that there was no way I was going to change. The service is great both on my computer and my iPhone. I would never change it. Cons The iPhone app could be a bit more practical to use. Sometimes I struggle getting to my documents. Pros Box is amazing. The ability to sync it with my desktop file system seamlessly, makes it one of the best file sharing softwares out there. It's biggest pro is that it can be accessed from anywhere, so I don't need my computer to share or access files when I am on the go. Cons There isn't much to complain about with Box. My only complaint with Box is that a lot of the functionality is hidden behind "More Action" buttons like viewing the file history. Pros This program is the easiest program to use and share files amongst teams. We use it each day to share files among over 20 people. Cons Nothing - this software is extremely easy to use and I have not found any downside to it yet.
