I use box every day to store and share student information without fear of hacking. Pros Box is a great way to securely store and share files in the cloud. I love that storage is unlimited for non-profits and that files can be shared with people outside your organization as well. It is also much more secure than google drive or dropbox. Cons The "box notes" feature is a bit clunky to use, as is the spreadsheet. It is more difficult to edit items directly on box than a google doc. It is also difficult for multiple people to edit a document at once. Pros BOx is great for people with phi issues and need encrypted options, this service is slightly cheaper than other alternatives. But when I ran out of space, I didnt had to think twice to buy the business plan. I believe its way cheaper and more secure than buying a nice external hard drive. Not to mention you´ll get the desktop sync app, between 2GB and 5GB file upload (max size), some great admin tools and many features more!! Cons Honestly... its hard to think of a con!... Mobile app makes for easy accessibility on the go. Actual online website interface is, in my opinion, the least user-friendly compared to Dropbox and Google Drive. For all intents and purposes, Box is a great value and quality storage that you can trust your business to. Pros The amount of storage you get for the price is very reasonable. Unlimited storage for $15 (per user) is great, especially when you are the only user. I mentioned in another review that I access my files on my Apple devices a lot as I am on the go. Box's app gets the job done, but it seems larger files take significantly longer to load than Dropbox. Cons As mentioned, the online interface is not as intuitive in my opinion. The good thing is if you are using this on your own computer, installing the desktop app makes it so you never have to use the website. Occasionally if I am accessing my files while traveling and have to use a public computer, I use the website. However, nothing beats just opening the actual file in your Box folder on your own computer, saving it, and just knowing it is syncing automatically. Review Source AS Ansuman S. It is the only place we have that hosts all of our artwork templates that we send to our customers. It is so easy to just share the link for our customers to visit and pick out whatever template matches their product they ordered. They then download the file and are able to have it at their fingertips. Cons Once in a great while, we will have a template crash and need to delete it and reupload it but that is the only con. Clients don't need a Box account or to sign in to access shared folders or files. Cons It can be very difficult to move data between locations in Box at times. Because Box doesn't recognise the duplicate contents when someone uses it improperly, they will end up creating multiple spaces.
