Really enjoying the ease of Box sync, the ability to edit documents from the browser, and the ever-necessary version control. More recently, we've been using note templates for quick status updates, and it saves us a couple steps. Cons Not sure there's much that can be done about this on Box's end but it defeats the purpose of using a shared storage platform for cross-organizational collaboration if you are always uncertain whether the other end will be able to access the platform. Pros The most I enjoyed about box was the fact it was incredibly easy to use, and synced in real time. I have multiple devices to do my job. I could hop from my work computer, and see things in box on my MacBook within seconds. Cons The thing I liked least was there is not a chance to customize or color code anything. It took a while to get used to the change, but I now find it very easy to use and a very secure option for company documents. Pros Box is a great place to save and store a large amount of files without having them take up place on the company's server. It is also secure and there is little worry about security being an issue. You can provide certain people access to certain boxes or you can keep your boxes private. Cons Using box can definitely take some getting used to. You need to download and upload new versions of your documents each time you make a change. I also find trying to search for a particular item in box to be challenging at times. I find it more difficult than searching a drive or folder on my computer. I am a Graduate Student and I use to share files with other researchers through box. Pros Box is the most amazing cloud storage software I have used. I nicely get synched with multiple devices and also maintains version control on the webbased interface. Cons If two file are opened at two machine simultaneously, files dont get properly synched. In that case, I have to go to the box.com website and download the latest one. If this can be solved, it would be amazing. Cons \- With sub-par internet, the sync function will malfunction and cause more problems. On my Apple device, I noticed that sub-par internet would not only compromise reliability of sync function, but it will cause Finder to hang entirely. I would recommend Pros I love that if I am working remote, I can access files from home. BOX is integrated in to our CRM. Storage is as simple as drag and drop. Sharing files is simple. You can create customer links. Searching BOX is easy and if you have a lot of files, you can filter by folders. Cons There is a new feature called "box content" that is integrated in our CRM. This has been a little slower for us to upload documents and files. Definitely worth the money. (even free version has a generous storage limit) Pros Box is a very secure and reliable tool to share and manage files on the cloud. Collaboration is even further improved by cross-platform compatibility (Windows, IOS, Android, etc.). It also has a nice user-interface which makes it easier and more intuitive to use. Cons I have not had issues while using Box. Software is always improving with new updates and features are continuously being added. This is better than Dropbox Pros I like how you can sync the Box app to your computer instead of going to box.com every time. I also like how when a document has been updated, it says "v2" next to it so you know changes have been made. This software makes organizing your files easy, and the workspace looks really clean too Cons For some reason I always have to unsync and sync my files.
