We like the ability to have multiple people edit documents and add comments. It has a great UI and makes administration a breeze. Also from a trusted name in the industry. Cons We have had some concern with the security before. Our company did not initially approve the application due to privacy concerns. Somewhere in the purchasing and set-up process, we mistakenly went with "Box" under the impression that the two companies were the same entity. We were happy that we did, because Box was definitely a well thought out, easy to use software that everyone picked up on right away. We felt that our files were secure and protected in the cloud. The pricing was more than fair and we utilized the service for a long time despite the initial mix-up. I even utilized this software in my personal life and recommended it to friends and family. I still consider our mix-up to be a stroke of accidental genius. Cons The product itself was phenomenal but when we eventually compared it to similar competitors, we found things to be desired in the user-interface and pricing areas. It's a great way to share creative between teams. Cons I find there is a lot of clicking and a lot of the most common features I want to leverage are difficult to surface. For example, downloading. Pros I like that it seems to not have a maximum amount of storage available. It's great, it always syncs my files with the cloud, and it has never failed. Cons I can't really think of something that I don't like about this software, since it fulfills its task perfectly. It was able to label folders from a major software conversion we did. Cons While I love Box, it was not compatible with our legal software, which required more dragging and dropping than originally thought. Pros Box's desktop and mobile apps made it extremely easy to work collaboratively with other teams at my company. With clear notes, and time stamps we were able to monitor modifications and changes as they occurred keeping everyone involved with the project from step one til the end. Cons I didn't really see too much that I didn't like about box.com but the ability to view into zip files would be extremely beneficial. We were able to set-up sync of documents for all our remote employees at different sites Nationwide. This gave us the ability to monitor and make sure that all business related documents were not deleted or not backed up. Cons It will take you some time to set-up correctly, but once it done it should run on its own without any issues. Pros I like that using Box is extremely easy. Whether it's uploading files or sharing files. I like that if one uploads a new version of a file that has already previously been uploaded, it doesn't separate them into 2 different files but instead groups them together in the same file. Example : I uploaded a file by the name of Mech. Drawings and upload a newer version it will now read : Mech. Drawings V2 and both the previous file and new file are together. Cons I can't really say there's something for me to dislike per say. Very useful and easy to use. Pros Ease of use. Sharing, uploading, downloading, editing, Box can do it all. I use this daily for my work and haven't had any issues. July 25, 2016 5.0 What does a Cox company with explosive growth do to manage all of their information? With such an influx of emails and files pouring in, Manheim Digital did not have the time to ponder. We needed an efficient way to enhance our ability to manage, store and distribute information. This was no easy task considering the multitude of shared drives and personal clouds that held our information. In comes Box, Cox Automotive's official document repository and sharing tool. After unifying all of our files, we were able to retire two shared drives and also convert other cloud users to Box in the process. Also, with the integration of Office 365, we were able to structure distribution and sharing of files according to the many levels access in existence. With the same sized team, we've been able to stay productive and efficient with over 200% growth in the last year alone. Our utilization of Box, in combination with Office 365, has and will remain a pivotal key to our continued success. Pros The integrations into our everyday software such as SalesForce and Office 365. Cons It's limited functionality with your Desktop (Box Sync).
