Through for business use it's more useful in my case than personal use. For official works, we use box without any hassle, it provide me the choice to control the access of file to individuals. Through this need extra training, but it's useful. I did not have to worry about the file sequrity here. Only things feeling bad for me that, sometimes I face error during syncing . Regarding price , it's little higher than similar service provider. Pros Very easy to operate, hassle free file storing, sharing with teammates. Especially for official work Box provides, real time syncing, which is very useful for remote working in this pandemic situation. It's very efficient for team collaboration. Most important thing box gives me chance to restrict unauthorized entry in my file section, beside I can also track it. Folder organization like windows , easily understandable. Cons During uploading feels like it's slower , by comparing other similar service provider it's definitely slower. Sometimes syncing error facing during work. Price can be little bit low. Also, I can share any files instantaneously to any of the team members who need them urgently. Pros The ideal place to secure my repository is Box. The crucial backups are safely stored in Box and readily available when it is needed. Cons The uploading of large files in Box is extremely frustrating. I think the color scheme is a little boring and it would be nice to have a built in office suite but it works just fine. Pros Box works as an excellent storage medium. It is easy to use and navigate. It also has a very intuitive version control system. I have no complaints on how files are structured. It feels like navigating my own desktop computer. Cons Box is functional but a little bit bland. The color scheme is not very exciting. Also the features work but aren't anything extraordinary. Sometimes it would be nice to have something like google docs built into Box. However, it does not have a built in office suite. Box does so much more. Key features for me are: - automated workflows: Box has built-in access control profiles (locking edit rules for certain users), and notification automation that tells users when some files are added/edited - integrations: so many other products you'll find on Capterra integrate with Box - compliance and data safety: Box is one of the most secure platforms I've found - email tracking: I've investigated Yesware to track email attachments sent to others... but Box's integrated features do this better Cons Pricing on the Pro version is affordable, but needs management to trust cloud-based data storage to realize ROI. It's just not organized and doesn't really make my life easier. Pros I like the fact I can upload documents in one place. It has a search function but leaves little to be desired. Cons The organization of Box is awful, but this could be my company's fault. It is not intuitive. The search function doesn't really help me. I can hardly find documents that I have not placed in Box personally. It's even difficult at times to find those that are "shared" by another user. Pros When I was first introduced to Box a few years ago, I believed there were easier ways to file share and communicate. I was wrong. Streamlined processes for storage and communication make Box a go-to resource for all of our important organizational needs. Cons In the beginning, I wasn't clear on where to fins training resources. That has improved. Occasionally, I still need help when starting a communication thread with another co-worker, but I don't utilize this feature enough for it to be a huge issue. You can create a word document, edit from the cloud, and share a link to a document to someone who doesn’t even have a box account. So many uses, I definitely use it every day. Pros I use this product for the storage of schedules, presentations, spreadsheets, and manuscripts. I am a doctorate student and work full time and Box is my go to cloud storage. UCSF is discontinuing its contract with Box in October 2021, and people aren't really pleased. Oh well... Pros What's there not to love? The concept is revolutionary. I love that everything is online and searchable and so easily shareable and editable. Cons Sometimes, it's hard to edit documents that are shared with a lot of people. There's gotta be an easier way to do that. From the very first interaction to present day, we have had a great relationship with Box, thanks to their knowledgeable staff and willingness to assist us in our unique needs. Pros The ease of use and user interface. Abundance of ways to share, collaborate and keep our intellectual property safe. The integrations possible due to their extensive API. Cons While it is not necessarily Box's doing, it is hard that the Microsoft Office integration with Mac is not as extensive as with a PC. It has benefited us as now we have our files organized and its easy to use regardless of where we are. Pros I like how easy it is to share my files with my coworkers and how I can preview other files before downloading them. The low cost makes Box a really good option for our company as it keeps our costs low. Being able to organize all of our files in different folders helps alot and Box makes that easy. Cons I dislike how it only the owner of the Box can delete things. I also dislike how I can only upload files of 250mb, which means I cant share my videos with my coworkers.I dislike box integration with other software because it can be glitchy at times.
