August 8, 2022 5.0 Pros What I like about box is that it has all essential features that one would need for storage and management of on-line files and that the features work falwlessly. The feature I loved most in Box is its ability to upload media directly from camera. I can upload a scan document, photo, audio or video recording, live with ease. I had a team that went to go get headshots done at a photo studio - this was our second time doing so. The first time, I had a member go back to the studio to use an external drive to download the files and bring it back to me. This time around, the photographer just sent me the Box folder and it was so much more convenient! All the raw files, jpgs, everything were in there and I didn't need to expend any extra energy to go find a different way to get the files. It can accommodate a lot of storage for files and download times are rather fast. Cons I wish you could hand select which files you want to download. If you want one file and the file that's two away, you're going to have to also download the file in between those two, or just download them separately. I also wish that you could view only a certain file type... would've really helped to distinguish between the raw and jpg files in terms of storage. Pros We use Box a lot to share files with others in a secure way, as well as to store files that we don't want to store locally on our computers. This enables us to share data in a way that is less time consuming. Pros The thing I enjoy most is the ability to share documents and information with a group of people. Have made very easy to share files with my colleagues. Pros Very good sync with files/documents on your PC and the cloud. Simple and everyone can contribute to the shared files and have one big file rather than having multiple files each for every contributor and merging them later. Search feature is great. Lets you easily search for files on the cloud storage Very simple design. Even non tech-savvy people can easily use it. Great app so you always have access to your files where ever you are Well integrated with Office 365 which is a neat feature lots of cloud storage space. I've since moved to Google Drive as I get a Terabyte free with my Google Fiber account, but Box is a viable option for sure. Easy to use, just open an account and you can use one of its free versions, or you can pay and get an account with great improvements. 3.- You can access and use box both from the browser and from the program, which is available for windows, ois, android. 4.- the basic storage space that provides very good cloud box since it starts from 10gb (free version) to illicit space in the busines and enterprise versions. 5.- It is very easy to share files with other users, just with a link and that's it. 6.- It has a very fast file download speed, since my printing is better than the dropbox and google drive. Cons one of the big disadvantages is that box is oriented for business users and not for the common user, that's why in free accounts (which is what a lot of people use) the load limit per file is very low (only 250mb) compared to other clouds that can upload files over 500mb without any problem. June 19, 2018 5.0 Pros Box offers similar features and tools to other storage clouds, but paying a much lower monthly price. You can get limited space for such a unique price. In app preview is also a nice feature. Cons For me the worst part is the inability to view more than 25 or whatever the default number of files is on one page. I would prefer everything present in lieu of having to switch to the next screen.
