I've always found Box super easy to use an I am definitely not a tech head - more a luddite... Pros Simple UX that is comprehensive from both ends i.e. uploading, sharing and downloading files. Good option to leave brief comment/tag files without end user having to open file - they just hover over the file image to see your notes. Cons Frustrating when it reaches capacity but this tends to happen on bigger projects with huge volume of files, using a lot of space. However, that could be something to do with our work account and the type of package/level os space we purchase. I love the sharing feature between users as well. Cons I really' don't have any recommendations for improvement, actually. It works well enough and Pros It allows file storage of various types and sizes. It is simple to use and is best at just backing up files and allowing others to download them. It works great though, it is way easier than other file sharing systems but beware since it comes with a large price tag. Pros Box is a nice alternative to google drive, it works great for online storing and file sharing, which is always handy. Sometimes our clients require we work with box and it has been really easy to work with it. Cons For someone who needs few space, box is not a good option, since it's free version its extremely limited, plus if you need more space you are going to have to pay a lot more money compared to other sharing softwares. Usually, it works pretty well and I was able to check everything even if I was doing home office. Cons It takes a while to open the files and I had some update issues. " August 6, 2018 5.0 I used this to set up training materials and FAQs for a company and it’s new employees. The company had multiple departments so I had to make it secure for a specific department so Box made it easy to make the information password protected and easy to navigate for the employees! Pros I love that it makes it very easy to host secure documents/information. Pros This is a great option that we are using at work as a cloud-based server for all of our district documents. It is great, as it is unlimited for us to save documents and videos that take up a lot of space. You are also able to link documents/share with others on your team and make changes that effect/change the entire document for everyone to have the most updated version. I was looking forward to working more with it. Cons Call me paranoid if you like, but the following experience changed my mind about using Box. I received a phone call from a rep at Box who informed me that they could tell that I had been using Box for my business and because of that I needed to upgrade my plan. When I asked how did they know how or for what reason I was using the software? Were they looking at my files that I'd uploaded to the cloud? The caller paused for a long time and then said that they just knew. I asked, "How do you know?" She hung up. Pros I believe box is easy to attach files to and easy to set up for each employee profile. That is about all I like about box Cons I least like that box is hard to navigate through. November 28, 2018 5.0 We have tried the other services like, google drive, one drive and even dropbox. all are good, and notable, but require considerable services connected to them to work (ie Microsoft, or Google account) where we want to share these large video files with collaborators this software made this simple and functional. I like the technical backend because it did not fail where other software would. Especially in Australia where internet speeds are not the best. Pros This software had the ability to move large video files for me and my clients, where other cloud syncing software would not hold up in terms of reliability.
