The collaboration with teams is also good. The version history feature is the best feature that we have ever used. Cons Unlike other cloud storage, they didnot have native document writer. Pros Easy to setup and navigate as well as collaborate with others. Lots of great features, such as setting expirations on shared files, password protection, and upload via email. Cons Customer support can be hard to reach unless you're on a higher up plan. When there's an outage or a bug, you need to subscribe to email updates or check their Twitter. I can set up a Box folder on my desktop and use it like a regular computer folder. It's accessible from every device I own and I can store a lot on it. Not as bulky as Dropbox. Cons I've found it to be buggy at times. I have saved things in Box that have disappeared and I cannot find them to recover them. Pros Box in one of the first cloud storage system in the world.It provides storage up to 100 GB,improved syncing capability.It's perfectly designed for collaboration and external parties can be invited to collaborate & contribute, no matter the device.It also offers a rich file review,effective file locking with a full text search. Cons Box is highly expensive.It also does not offer any discount which has made it quite unpopular among regular users.The syncing capability is still way behind its more popular competitor.It has a size limit of the files that can be uploaded.The desktop version is pretty confusing to use. Useful because sometimes you don't want to give access to others, but you also need to share files. Box makes it possible. Cons Right now, it serves it purpose for us. There can be a limit to the size of files shared or stored which can be a limitation in its functionality. Pros The software is of great relevance for me to store and keep files confidential and saved for easy interaction and handling. Cons The application does not, in my view, show any difficulty in interacting even with new users, perhaps its capacity limit may be increased in the future. September 28, 2022 1.0 Pros Was looking for alternative to Dropbox. Dropbox was not syncing correctly. Cons I had a "individual" account. Was trying to upgrade it to a different tier that stated a cost Of $60.00. I am the only user. I missed seeing the much smaller print on the site which stated a three user minimum. I guess my 70 year eyes are not as good they used to me. I put in my credit card and it went through. AFTER it went through, it displayed a confirmation charge of $180. (those 3 users). I immediately tried calling them, chatting with them, but couldn't get through the correct number. I sent them an email to their billing dept which was the only email address I could fine. They responded without directly stating if they would refund the money. I am still waiting for a response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE OTHER ALTERNATIVES. I PLAN TO WITE AS MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT BOX.COM I CAN SO OTHERS WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. September 5, 2019 1.0 Abysmal. I hate being sent box.com links, they're frequently buggy and just no fun to deal with. Pros I have about 100 people sending me videos for review every single week. Many use the main players, but some use box.com. It's the worst experience out of all, save one. Cons It's clunky and unintuitive. Why people don't choose the main alternative which also has box in its name, I don't know. Box.com just doesn't do it for me. I can share files to my contacts efficiently and quickly. The syncing in this tool is relatively quick and very good. Cons The web as well as the mobile interface of Box is very annoying to use.
