August 31, 2022 4.0 I keep my files in it and i feel so secured and found it easy shareable whenever i want to share to my patients. Pros An excellent software to store and manage our documents. Moreover It is a modernized storage software in which you have every features to keep your files secured as well as easy sharable. Over all i think it is a decent way to store/share files/info. Pros I like that you can "share" files, etc. with anyone in your organization and that it is not tied/tethered to just your individual computer. Cons The worst thing about the Box that I have found is that when you first open it, all the files that are on it takes a little bit of time to load. Pros I like the fact that documents can be uploaded and shared among colleagues, and that large documents can easily be edited and downloaded circumventing restrictions of email. Additionally, the ability of being able to sign into any machine to access the documents is extremely helpful and user friendly. From a higher education standpoint this product makes great sense for interdepartmental collaboration. The upload and download times are quick and I don't have any problems sending or retrieving data. It's also super secure; I know that my account will not get tampered with. Cons The app version on my computer doesn't work as well as the web browser version. I have more error messages with the app version, especially problems downloading. Pros One of the things I like the most is that it is very easy to upload files with drag and drop, also the use of synced folders for the same purposed, this helps me to keep all my work files on the cloud ready to use. Personally, I also like the webpage design, I feel it is more simple and easy to use compared to other similar products. Pros Box has some nice privacy features, and the ability to grant and rescind access is a bit easier than its counterpart apps. You can access all your files easily as well as favoriting important documents. Features are great in terms of access control and security. You can sync box to the Office Suite and save files instantly. Cons File sync does not always work, and when first installed, dialogue boxes pop up when you try to attach a file in an Outlook email asking if you'd like to send a Box link instead. The box is compatible with office 365, without using a website or other applications.It is easily synchronized with the computer and we all participate in together project. Pros It's a simple, reliable, safe, program. It simply attracts and shares folders and files. All employees in one system, can monitoring to control all update,s to the contract documents and offers. Pros I have been using box for the last decade or so. It is great to keep your files in the cloud. I mainly store my ebooks and photos, but do not actively manage them. It has plenty of functions that will appeal to advanced users. Some of my clients use box to assign work-related documents to me. For that I don't need to have business account (but they do) Cons The interface feels 'heavy'. Not very user-friendly. Upload speeds are not as fast as competitor's. I also see 'feature creep' coming. Pros I was able to use it as a Dropbox type app on a linkedIn chat whereby the person could send me a digital file. I also use it as a repository for file uploads which is helpful from a website. It would be nice if there was a way to monetize downlooads without having to use a third party limited functionality like Jotform. Cons It seems also there were some workarounds on the forums that I could not get to work for me, but others I could - so a more cohesive forum set up rather than Googling for answers.
