This software has replaced the need for USB for me. Now I do not have to worry about making use my usb or external hard drive is with me everywhere, no chances of storage system getting corrupted and in need for reboot. My friends and Family use this software as a way to share our pictures with each other. This is perfect for storing important files online as back up in case of any emergency. Cons Would love that it did not require a certain amount of people on same account to get things going. Definitely wished there was more storage, this software was going to be something I wanted to advice my co-workers to use to make our lives easier but the money ratio vs storage ratio was not doing it for us! Pros Synching was seamless. Lots of storage. Was easy to share files among co-workers. We ultimately switched to One Drive. Cons Implementation was difficult. Migrating files from Drop Box to Box then to One drive was difficult. Accessing files, while easy once it was figured out, took a bit longer to understand how to do it vs. Dropbox. January 15, 2019 5.0 Pros I like that you can see who and at what time a document has been viewed. It also tells you if the document has been downloaded. You also get a notification in an email when someone has uploaded or downloaded documents to a folder. Cons I don't know if this would be considered a con, but I guess the amount of email notifications you receive could be a nuisance to some. I just filter all box emails to a specific folder. Pros This software is great for storing documents and sharing them with team members so that they have access to the files and are also able to download them and edit them in real time. Cons I do not have any cons at this time. I have been using Box for quite sometime now and have never had any issues. I’m looking forward to software updates to make it an even better product. Would GREATLY benefit from allowing different content syncing for different computers on the same account (a la Dropbox selective sync). Also, our Box CSM has been extremely engaged in taking feedback from our organization and helping us grow our use cases and implementation. Pros It integrates fully with our identity provider, Okta as well as integrates with several other butt services we use such as Office 365. Cons I'd say that the product definitely does have some holes. The control settings are a breeze so I can control which members of the team can access a file and which aspects they can see. When work is being done our progress can be tracked . Box has worked for me and can definitely be an asset to your company Pros I love the way Box centralizes content online making it easy for my team to access information in easy and well organised virtual work-spaces. We can exchange information in real time. If there is need to remotely sign a contract Box is capable of allowing users to do such. I also like the fact that I can open almost any file and edit without downloading to do such. Cons May be wrong but there seems to be a limit as to what size file can be loaded.
