Upload files with ease just drag to box folder and your done. Great as a back up system easy to navigate through. Allows auditing on document uploads so that you can see who is reviewing files as well as task management. Cons The cost. Something cheaper for larger organizations or businesses would be nice. sync doesn't always work perfectly. December 15, 2018 4.0 Pros What I like about LinkedIn that I don't have to add coworkers that I barely know to my social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter) where I share my personal life. It helps in maintaining your resume up to date. Raise the bar for more challenges, when you see other friends (or connections) getting promotions. Also, the LinkedIn Learning is very helpful. Cons It has a paid service, which makes the free one bad. People get to know who saw their profile, but not the premium (paid) ones. Sharing files both internally and externally is straightforward and the desktop app is easy to use. Cons We ended up transitioning away from Box last year due to the pricing structure. We use it everyday as storage and for sharing. Pros Capabilities, storage and sharing. Ease of use. Capability to go back and retrieve previous versions of files if required. Cons Occasionally we run into 2 people being in the same file at the same time and Box will save one with the extension of the 2nd person's name - then we have to combine any changes. If you are hoping to additionally use it to store internal documents, you will find that another software might be the solution. Pros Box generates easy to use links that allow you to share documents with clients. You can set up i-frames on your site with your documents. Affordable CMS system. Cons Some of the links seem not to work in older browsers. Overally, I am just satisfied. Pros They have a free storage capacity of 10gb that you can use to backup your content and is very easy to use. Pros I work for a small business marketing company so it requires a lot of organization of files and the ability to find client files easily. I love that I can share file folders with my colleagues and allow them read only access or to edit any documents within the shared folder. Also, I really like that you can edit the document at any time (without actually downloading and opening it) and it automatically saves the changes (similar to a google doc). Cons It would be nice if I could create shortcuts for the file folders instead of having to open the box bowser, click clients and then search for the client and then open the folder. Pros Box is extremely easy to use and very intuitive. Uploading files is always a breeze and a shareable link is easy to generate. Cons BOX has been a great software to use, and to date I don't have any negative things to say. I have never tried contacting support and don't know how hard that is. The files that are stored in Box are the types that I store once, and then kind of forget after; non-daily, non-critical files. Pros Unlike the industry favorite, Dropbox, which only gives 2GB of free storage upon first signing up, Box gives a generous 50GB of cloud storage. Cons The user interface, compared to Dropbox, leaves a lot of room for improvement. Even looking for the available/used storage on the website takes quite a bit of steps to accomplish: Click on your account logo/avatar -> Account Settings links -> Account tab -> Account Details section -> Storage Used information. Pros Simple enough with folder layout on desktop. Cons doesn't sync well between different users' folders, resulting in delayed and unsafe sharing of work via email. Crashes on occasion.
