We used it for over a year to share files between teachers on a science team. I never had a problem with it-- it was reliable and really intuitive. I never had to contact Box support which is a good thing. It always synced just fine. It was a very eye pleasing and user friendly interface. The ability to drag and drop was perfect. Honestly I saw no real difference between Box and Dropbox. I liked them both equally. Cons The biggest gripe I had was how quickly we ran out of free storage. I know we could have upgraded, but we did not. I believe my company stopped using it because of the price, but I am not sure what that price was. We are part of a public school that tries to find free options for file sharing and storage. I did feel like the software slowed my computer down a bit when it was running, so I just shut it down between uses. Other than that, I really liked it. Review Source CT Carson T. Perfect for sharing inside and outside of network, and anyone can be granted access. Cons not much bad to say. The only CON is the lack of integration with ALL types of OS. " February 9, 2018 3.0 Pros I like that it allows my team to create as many folders as necessary. We're able to build an easy to use structure for housing all of our marketing collateral and content, which makes it easy to share with our sales team. It makes for great collaboration and alignment! It's also easy to control versions, which ensures our sales team has the latest and greatest content! Cons It's not as easy to make updates to content directly in Box, which requires my team to make updates and then re-add the updated content. The cost verses the value is incredible, it has great security, and it has great ease of use. Pros We use Box as a backup for all our electronic files. In 2009, our organization began foreclosure intervention work in partnership with our state housing agency. Box was used to place sensitive documents in the cloud and they were kept securely. I have used a couple others, but Box is my go to because they give you 5 gigs for free. I use it when I need a file and need it to be available anywhere I am at. Pros The software, overall, is incredible intuitive and easy-to-use. It allows me to store and maintain access to many individual files. The navigation menus are very clear and detailed. Cons I have had some issues with the sharing functions, which have stalled or frozen at times. But overall, the user experience has been suitable enough. The user interface at times can be too simplistic. But google docs edit is superior. with respect to file storage, box storage is simpler to use.
