It works so well and smoothly that I rarely need to reach out to support, but when I do I'm impressed by the speed and professionalism of the response from the Corsizio staff. When our prior online registration platform changed their pricing model we could no longer afford them. I have not been disappointed. I actively recommend it to others. Pros is easy to use for a variety of different types of classes and events. It is designed well, and has a robust process for cancellations and refunds that makes it easy to avoid problems like chargebacks. Corsizio integrates with Zapier, which allows for automation when someone registers. Support team is very responsive and knows the product well. Cons The fields for collecting info from registrants are a bit inflexible, 1) title and organization are relegated to custom fields; they should be standard fields that can be turned on or off, 2) name field is full name only and always assumes the first word (and only the first word) is the first name, which messes up name tags for people with two words in their first name (e.g. Mary Ann). Better would be two separate fields for first and last name. Checks so many of our registration necessity boxes. We needed a user-friendly registration system that handled everything from enrollment, payment, communication, and more. This does the trick for the most part. Cons 1\. Not a shopping cart- which we understand -but still causes grief with many of our users, especially during summer camp. 2. You have to put an end date on a class which confuses some who are registering for classes that repeat indefinitely. 3. You have to create a separate class description for classes with multiple dates. rather than just have one class description and multiple dates. I've used the nonconsecutive date feature and just added an option for date and time on the registration form, but the system will notify everyone of the same start date instead of the separate dates. We run two-day classes in the United States, one-day classes in other countries, and 12 day tours abroad. Our students are U.S. citizens as well as citizens from dozens of other countries. is extremely easy to use, and each class or tour can be incredibly customized down to the very last detail. Pros 1\. gives you so many options to customize, and I'm very impressed with the amount of options provided. Anything and everything is customizable, including setting up access codes, custom add-ons, and setting dates when a class is open or closed for registration, etc. We provide multiple kinds of classes and can impressively customize each one. 2. During our last tour, I was able to log into Corsizio on my phone and manually add hotel charges to people's accounts. At the end of the tour, participants just logged into Corsizio and paid the pending charges with their credit card. It was so easy to do for us, and very simple for the participants as well. Cons The two major issues I have with are the following: 1. We provide tours at over $6,000 a piece, and people have to pay a small deposit to reserve their spot. Corsizio does not allow for multiple small payments - instead, customers have to pay the remaining amount in one chunk, which is hard for a lot of people to do. We cater to international participants, so there isn't a way for them to send us a check for smaller amounts. 2. The main photo is huge and the presentation screen to potential students is less visually-appealing than other software I've seen. 3. Participants cannot transfer themselves to another class. I want participants to have control over their registration, so I have that toggle button clicked (which is a huge pro about this software). Unfortunately, since they can't transfer their registration, they end up cancelling their own registration, signing up for a different class and paying the deposit again, and then asking me to transfer their old deposit to the new class. I can't transfer their deposit - all I can do is transfer their registration - and now I have two registrations and two deposits for the same person in the same class. I end up cancelling one and adding a manual payment, but it just gets messy. 4. You have to set up a different account to accept different currencies. We have international students in our tours so this makes it difficult to collect money for just one tour. Reason for choosing Corsizio The price, mainly. And the reviews. It is fast, efficient, inexpensive, and easy to use. The development team's philosophical resistance to expanding the scope of the software is the single greatest barrier to ongoing success with us; while it shouldn't be CRM software, a \*dash\* of that in the mix would go a long way to making Corsizio even better. It has proven easy to learn and cross-train on, with new hires able to pick up the basics and start using it within an hour. Cons Some of the workflow around payment processing for multiple registrations can be a challenge; the most common example we encounter is if a student wants to book for multiple courses at the same time, I have to process each course as a separate transaction. We have never encountered an error in the software and we have been able to rely on the reports we generate. Our enrollees have never had any issues with using Corsizio either and that says a lot. Pros Class registrations are made simple and easy for us and many of the features are very help. In particular, we are pleased to have the automatic feedback prompt for class registrants which allows us to gather important information without having to send out surveys ourselves. Cons Perhaps we haven't found this feature yet, but we run several classes within the same program, and it would be wonderful to aggregate the date from each program, gathering registration information from all of the classes within that program into one place, as opposed to having to go through each class individually. However, it was hard work to receive the payments in time and some students would not show up and felt they didnt have to pay the invoice. solved all of our main concerns. The students could choose a course directly on our webpage, and paid by credit card at the moment of enrolment. We could choose the maximum number of places in each course, and the software showed if some class was full or if there were just a few places left. Then we could easily extract lists of participants with details to each course. When I started my own company with courses in the area of teambuilding and work place environment, I implemented Corsizio again for the new company. It is an excellent way to sell tickets for events and courses online and receive the payment. It is also very easy to refund, or sign up participants for free etc. Pros Customer service and software development is excellent, and has quickly implemented some new features that we requested in the beginning! Great to work with a software company that wants to offer the best quality possible for its clients and listen to their demands. It offers all the features needed for selling courses online, easy to use and to customize, and yet for a surprisingly reasonable price per customer. Cons The only thing that would facilitate a little bit for us would be the possibility to change standard phrases to Swedish, for instance on the sign up form. But that has never really caused any trouble, more than a few clients calling to know if the courses will also be given in English. Pros Having searched for an alternative to Squarespace Acuity for about 6months and trialled probably close to 60 other offerings I settled on for a number of reasons : 1. Ability to offer services / courses etc as multiple businesses rather than just one. 2. Ease of set-up and excellent help both as a library and through messaging / email. 3. Low start up cost. Just to touch on a couple of points you mentioned, when you configure a logo for your account's auto-generated portal, then that will be the brand logo that gets displayed at the top of all public pages for your events, including the main event details page where a person would see the "Register" button. The event cover photo is based on its size upon creation and if you want to be shorter, you can make it short and wide before you upload it. It does have to fit nicely in a few spots, so a nice and balanced rectangular shape is always best. We have been generally very satisfied. Pros Integration with our website was easy and the software has many valuable features for a small business that needs class registration and tracking. The information that is sent to registrants is very well done - reminders, feedback, ability to send memos, etc. Cons There are some limiting features such as the inability to set discounts for individual registrants. It is also limiting in that participants enrolling more than one child has to input each child individually instead of being able to enroll multiple children at once. I learn more every time I have an event. Pros Easy to set up and use for simple events. Tracks registrations, easy to adjust as needed on admin side. Cons Doesn't allow much room for typing words or directions that affect events. Add-ons wording or directions is too short. Invoice sent once registered for an event is spam looking, would like to be more professional. Reason for choosing Corsizio Cost and looked easy to start with. I can’t live without it. Pros The Program takes care of everything for me. There are a lot of features that make my job much easier. Cons I don’t like that when someone cancels their Registration that they remain on the main list. I feel like there should be a separate page for that event and the cancellation list should be there. I also don’t like that if I cancel an entire class, it goes away. And it’s difficult to find the archives. Amazing platform. I took the time to write this review because the staff is amazing to customers. Pros This software has deep customization. You can do anything. It is also the only one I came across letting you take payments offline. If you have an issue or suggestion, you would not believe the customer support. They make me feel like I pay them six figures in fees the way they treat me as a customer. In reality, I am a tiny customer to them. Cons There are platforms that are so easy you don't even have to learn to use it. This takes a couple minutes to learn. A couple days to master all the options. Anything that has deep customization like this, takes a minute to learn. Cons Would be nice if a record of all classes an attendee has registered for were recorded in their file. As of now, it creates a new record when an attendee enrolls in a new class instead of adding that class to the exsiting record.
