January 9, 2025 5.0 For almost 2 and a half years, I've had a very positive experience running an online professional training course business on the Corsizio platform. It saves me hours of work every week, for which I'm very thankful. It works so well and smoothly that I rarely need to reach out to support, but when I do I'm impressed by the speed and professionalism of the response from the Corsizio staff. Pros Corsizio is intuitive and reliable. It seamlessly manages the many complex class management tasks of scheduling, invoicing, reminding, and following up with attendees. Our mission includes making engaging adult educational opportunities available at very low prices. When our prior online registration platform changed their pricing model we could no longer afford them. Fortunately we found Corsizio which will not only save us a lot of money but provides enhanced functionality as well. I cannot praise Corsizio high enough (obviously lol). It gives me the data I need and makes tracking so easy. I have used Square in the past and this is 100% better! Pros Easy to use and manage workshops. Easy to track. And if you need to cancel a class it is easy to refund the customer. Cons The only 2 drawbacks that I can think of is the visual on the landing page for customers. It looks a little plain and cookie cutter. Easy to register for and track attendees, as mentioned above we would like if the features indicated would be implemented in the future, adding to the calendar with relevant information is industry standard in the majority of these types of software. Pros The product was easy to configure and use. Contains all relevant features and the ability to register for free or for paid courses. Ability to add your branding. Has the majority of features needed from this type of software. We prefer that data is stored in Canada. Cons Lacking integration with video tools like Zoom or Teams. Adding the event to the calendar (in our case Outlook and .ics file) we found out insufficient as file does not have ability to include video meeting link or relevant information from Agenda. Also, no ability to print the agenda. Tex editors are basic, require HTML for formatting. Each business unit uses their own learning management software, so we couldn't do central registration and management for our training. Cons The only thing we haven't been able to do is bulk-load our classes from a spreadsheet, but we haven't explored that capability. Education Coordinator Education Management Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Super Easy to Set Up" September 28, 2022 5.0 We used to have a customized Wordpress implementation for our course registration, complete with shopping cart and calendar. Problem was that updates to Wordpress would break the site, leading to unpredictable outcomes for a critical function. With Corsizio, I have the functionality of our old custom implementation, plus lots more (e.g. auto waitlisting, email notifications, tiered pricing, gift codes). The beautiful part is that these features are designed with the course registration process in mind. Pros I loved how I could go in and set up the course registrations for our school very quickly. The interface is very simple, and Corsizio is very thoughtfully designed. I was able to go from zero to full online implementation in less than an hour. The other strong point is the Customer Support. It is provided over email and I found that we would get responses within hours. We had one customer who had issues with payment, the Customer Support person did the troublehooting and determined it was a customer internet error. All good! Cons I can't think of a negative. Maybe if the percentage that Stripe deducts were lower? But that's not a Corsizio issue. Pros I like that, while I set up the classes or events, Customer can register, pay, and or cancel on their own. Saves a lot of time. Cons I do not like the fact that there are so many steps to set up an event scheduled for once a week over several weeks. There really should be a way, once date range is entered, to indicate that the event occurs daily, weekly or monthly, rather than having to enter every date individually. March 21, 2018 5.0 This product has taken the headache out of registering faculty for our campus-wide trainings. We can easily administer, create, and cancel trainings and participants. I would highly recommend this product. In fact, other admin units on campus have started switching over to using Corsizio. Pros We tried several other event registration tools and found that they did not quite meet our needs here at the University of Colorado Denver. We stumbled upon Corsizio and instantly knew this is the tool for our faculty to easily register for our training events! Participants do not need to create accounts, it's easy to manage participants (add, remove, cancel registrations), it grants certificates either automatically or manually, it allows you to customize the event language, add images and videos, and the overall usability is phenomenal! The best part is that currently Corsizio is free (Except for taking payments!) Honestly, we would pay to use Corsizio, it's really that great! Cons The only con I can think of is that you cannot create events that do not have a specific date. So for example, we like to have our faculty/participants register for online trainings, but these trainings are open-ended and do not typically have an exact date. I wish there was a way to make an event open-ended and without a specific date attached to it. It would be nice if it somehow integrated with our Canvas LMS, but it is not necessary. I specially like the availability of reports pertaining to class registration and the number of people attending our classes. A great feature of Corsizio is the follow up/feedback from participants which is helpful in evaluation of our programs. Pros In 2020, while other senior centers closed due to Covid-19 Pandemic, here in Laguna Beach, we switched to offering online classes using Corsizio for all online registrations. Seniors adopted the system with ease and enjoyed being able to connect virtually. Corsizio was a lifesaver for us, and assisted us to stay in touch with our clients making sure they stay engaged and connected while sheltering in place. To do that we need to think about the importance of different features. 1. Ease of registering (especially for more than one class at a time) 2. Ability to send out course reminders 3. Ease of programming 4. Ability to add registration options for attending (in-person, zoom or recording) for a course without having to set up the course 3 different ways. Pros The ability to send out reminders for specific course events Cons Customers do not like to have to register separately for each course (vs a shopping cart that gives them a total cost as they go, and allows them to go thru the checkout process ONCE). Capturing street address in contact info has been somewhat problematic with some not able to find their address. Some would prefer to use PayPal. " December 19, 2018 5.0 We were using a very cumbersome event registration tool previously, and it was time consuming to get anything done for registrations. This has been a game changer! Our entire team can now manage registrations, set up events, cancel/add participants, etc. It's great that we each have our own login too. Pros This is the most intuitive, easy to use, FREE option for event registration. We use it for our internal faculty to sign up for our trainings and workshops (we have about 60 per year). The customization is great - from the sign up options, to the confirmation email. Even if you do reach 100+ registrants and need to pay, it is so inexpensive and completely worth it. One of the best parts about Corsizio is that we can embed the list of events and the event registration right within our website. The new self-cancellation feature is also an excellent addition. It's also great that you can add the instructors for the training, and each person can add their bio. Each team member having their own login is also fantastic. Cons There's not much I don't like about Corsizio. It's been a game changer for our event registrations. I've found Corsizio to be an extremely useful and well-crafted tool for registration for the classes. I've also used the Help section quite a bit and find it to be more useful than most Help sections. I've also emailed Support personnel a number of times, and have been impressed by the quick response time and the helpfulness of the Support people. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] have both been great. Pros Ease of use, seamless integration with our website. I like that I can see the classes we offer in list or calendar view, and can just click on the title in the calendar to get into the class details. The memo function is great and very useful. The customizable auto-emails are also terrific. In general, I appreciate the ability to edit and customize a lot of what goes out to our users, including titles (apparently unlimited character allotment), trainer information and bios, dates and times. Cons It's necessary to do a lot of clicking around to make any edits to settings and to customize settings for the different classes we offer. It would be nice if there were an option to hide all the pricing sections and information, since we do not charge for our classes. I would like to be able to attach files to a memo. I don't find the feedback function very useful; it would be great if we could customize that more and ask users for short narrative evaluations. October 26, 2018 5.0 We were previously using Eventbrite which is hugely expensive by comparison, has ugly presentation, posts adverts for competing events on your booking pages, and has a very unclear checkout process. I had tried two other providers without success and my partner who has been handling bookings and billing for ages with Eventbrite was very much against switching. However, after taking a deep breath and setting up a small event with Corsizio as an experiment I was blown away by its simplicity, ease of use and clean presentation: so I migrated all our events (current and future). With several years' experience doing events I am a critical user and found a couple of minor niggles but Corsizio were quick to respond and extremely helpful. With a bit of off-line tweaking my partner now has smoother back-office processes than before. We are both not only extremely satisfied but also making more money on our events! Pros Very clean formatting, well thought-out functionality and easy integration into our web sites. It also uses Stripe as a card payments handler rather than PayPal. PayPal charged more and was confusing because it prioritises its own marketing agenda during the payment process. Cons I found it tricky to export registration data into our office systems BUT on the credit side, the company responded sympathetically to my feedback and even adopted one of my suggestions the next day, so the problem has gone away. Cons Would be nice if a record of all classes an attendee has registered for were recorded in their file. As of now, it creates a new record when an attendee enrolls in a new class instead of adding that class to the exsiting record.
