Pros Remote available access, service orders produced you can see on the account, more reports available, and when paying by credit card it is immediate. Cons When doing a final bill our utility always had the capability of counting the consumption and when the bill was under $5.00 and or a credit of under $5.00 we could bill 0.00, now we must do an adjustment after the final bill is processed. Another struggle has been figuring out the meter inventory which has been brought over from the old software to this one and simplifying it. We have just began working on this. So glad we don't have to do it all by hand. Pros So much easier typing in numbers than doing everything by hand! And I thank our customer service rep and his crew for stopping by at the right time and introducing this system to the City. And most of all I would like to say how much a great help they were when I have a problem, or just a question.! Employee of the year for sure!! Wonderful person and makes it so easy when she explains something! Cons I haven't found anything I don't like! Wonderful Program! Pros With Accounts payable, Payroll, Inventory, Accounts receivable and more in one program it makes it easy to generate reports for me as a Manager to see the financial and operational standing of my water system. Sequoyah Software makes it easy for me to track my parts inventory so I know what I have in my shop and can keep track of it for any repairs that maybe needed. Sequoyah give us the abilty to pay our employees through payroll is easy to set up and use. Sequoyah makes it easy to give our board member all the reports they need to make informed decision on district matters. Cons Some of the more detailed reports have a little bit of a leaning curve but I've always been able to get help figuring them out. It's very user friendly for the billing and accounting process. I've used other utility billing/accounting software and this is so affordable. Cons I would like to see a quick link by name to the G/L chart of accounts when you are making a G/L entry, if possible. Instead I have to scroll through the entire chart of accounts to find my account.
