Instead he was able to get a warranty replacement tire for less than $30 and was on the road without delaying his schedule. Pros The ease of use on both the back and front end of Whip Around has made it a breeze to implement and our drivers have had no trouble getting used to it. Customer service has been excellent. Cons At times the persistence of the team at Whip Around wanting to help was a bit grating, but in the end it was appreciated and contributed to our timely implementation. Fleet Manager Oil & Energy Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Whip Around review" May 21, 2019 5.0 It is time consuming to set up the forms but once it is all done, things really move very smoothly. We had a little resistance with our drivers but they only had to use it once to see how easy it is. We are going to expand it and make inspections for our mechanics for services and DOT inspections. Very useful and efficient. Pros We like how easy it is to use for our drivers, and how fast I get the information back to make the proper repairs. The app is done really well and easy to use. The web dash board is really easy to use and not to over complicated. Cons The set up was time consuming when I was building our forms, I think that could use some help on making the tiles move around easier. During the setup process I would forget to move a tile to the position that I wanted it or forget to hit save and had to move it multiple times during the process. I would definitely recommend this app for truck inspections. Pros This allowed us to get rid of the old pre trip truck inspection binders filled with paper and move to an app that is easier to use and stores the same data electronically. We were even able to add our own custom forms for additional uses. Cons None that I can think of - it is really easy to use and does what we need it to do. The picture option makes it easy to locate what the drivers are complaining about being wrong and easy to find the repair. It really makes our trucks better for the road because the driver can pin point the problem before the leave the yard. No more copies of paper inspection forms to keep in the glove box. Pros Once you get it set up, the users just need to download the app and start doing inspections. No training required. Pros The software is very simple to use. Easy to customize. Easy for the drivers to use. The only complaints we hear are from those that weren't doing the inspections do begin with. Cons I wish we would have had it sooner. It would be nice to have all the options for the original price. Reason for choosing Whip Around The price and it was supposed to compliment our telematics. Pros I like how easy as administrator I can edit or add things and create forms. Cons Administrator cannot log in into the app unless he creates driver username for himself. Whip Around showed up as a possible solution to our equipment issues, namely that these issues were either not being communicated, or if they were, were not being addressed in a timely manner. We have been able to use Whip Around to keep track of our vehicles, but also our equipment and even our inventory levels! Pros It is incredibly simple to use and to teach others to use, which helps with implementation. There are use cases above and beyond just vehicle checks. It allows for legal compliance in a way paper just cannot: mandating signatures and approvals, creating a digital database. It ensures communication of issues happens and that issues are followed up on (alerts and workflows). Cons I couldn't always find the icon I wanted for my cards.
