it is ok, new version is absolutely terrible it is hard to navigate there is no back button and it take 2 times longer to complete any work orders from a technician point of view. When downloading the pdf's for printing work orders, the program prints 1 page per task. That is a complete waste of paper and resources

nothing is a pro in the newest version. Waste of effort and time while trying to navigate new version.

Cons

The latest version upgrade/ Hard to navigate, no training, new version is 1000 times hard to work around in, when printing tasks it prints one task per page of paper. THAT IS A WASTE OF PAPER AND RESOURCES.

Worst customer service. They will never call you to see if you need anything or not, but will add all managers as soon as you tell them you need to cancel the service. Automatically renew the subscription without a single notification

Pros

Nothing. They have built the PTI and that's where they stopped. No maintenance classifications just a storage to upload the invoices from repairs nothing more.

Cons

The worst customer service ever. They will automatically renew your annual subscription without a single notification.

It worked for my other company so when I started my own I wanted to use the same app.

Cons

I am a brand new company so I only need the free one for now until I bought more busses. However nobody seems to want to speak to me since I would't be making them extra money. I just needed help setting this up so then In a few months all set when I added more cars. Apparently I need a company who cares about the little people

### "Buyer BEWARE! PAY even after CANCEL up to 60 days "

1\. Our shop/field did not utilize the service as much as we thought for the amount we were paying. That is why I am canceling, not easy and was told I will continue to be billed for 2 extra months unless, so I will have to fight with my credit card company to keep the theft from occurring. The continued invoicing for 60 days is a HORRIBLE business policy that they stand by, this is theft. I cannot bill customers for a service I am not providing. We will see if they make this right, but I am not hopeful as my rep kept saying this is their policy!

Pros

The wallet is useful to keep registration and insurance cards accessible to employees.

Cons

1\. Unable to remove assets without an employee from Whip Around, they bill based on number of assets so like to keep that number high. 2. Unable to cancel subscription, takes 60 days and they threaten to continue to bill my credit card, which I cannot remove from my account. 3. My rep quit, the chat bot disconnected when asked to cancel subscription, called, took a month to get someone to respond on how to cancel.

Initial set up can be time consuming because program is so customizable. Once desired fleet operations are established system works unbelievably well in organizing, updating and informing all users as to current fleet status.

Pros

Every user (or just some) having the ability to report information and retrieve information of fleet operations at any time and it be current. Customizable service programs allowing any desired schedule to be set up and followed.

Cons

Data entry of 3rd party vendors expenses. Data entry of parts and supplies used in daily repair. Integration of venders to reduce data entry. Department expense calculating and budgeting reports.

Cons

I use whip around on a daily basis several times of the day. I was wondering if by chance that the app can be redesigned so that the location of the machines can be present in the defect and inspection history portion of the headings. I have several pieces of equipment that get inspected on a daily basis and with the location of the job in the headings would benefit my operations. I can select a job location and pick several pieces of equipment that my techs can go out and repair. I have reached out to my superiors and asked the same question with no response. Pros

I'm not going to talk about what was good about Whip Around because it doesn't matter. If I'm being billed for something I'm not using and have tried to cancel several times, that's not okay.

Cons

They won't cancel my plan. I've already request twice to cancel my plan and they're still billing me. About to contact them for a 3rd time.

Whip around has really helped me in managing fleets, I wish I had this app when i managed a fleet of 150 frac pumps, it would have made life so simple.

Pros

The simplicity, but the customer service is why I love using it, they have helped me step for step in learning how to use, manage, and train using the app.

Cons

The Wallet added price, it is well worth it, however I still have to do what it does manually inhouse so there is no use in paying an additional 2.00 per truck.

I had used whip around at my previous employer, as well as motive, while i like the daily milage reports i can get through motive and the camera system, we had no need for a camera system in our small fleet, so it was essentially a waste of money.

It just works better than anything else out there.

Pros

Easy to use, intuitive and user friendly. A wealth of data at your fingertips. Tech support is friendly and knowledgeable.

Cons

Needs a at a glance page probably by week showing all of your assets and the results of the last inspection. Preferably printable. It is hard looking back and remembering which vehicle had which defect unless you pull up every inspection one by one.

Whip Around is the best option for vehicle inspections and maintenance we've come across. The process is streamlined and easy to use. The ability to create driver accounts to track inspections helps hold employee's accountable for the company vehicles they operate.I have found the fine folks at Whip Around are open to suggestions in hopes of serving their customer base better by always seeking to improve their services, and that's something I respect a great deal. I absolutely love every aspect of this app. I was able to customize the app to our needs just by playing around with some of the features on my own. After meeting with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], I felt all our questions or answered. Any feature of the app I didn't know about was shared with me thanks to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]'s extensive knowledge. Customer service is key with any business, and Whip Around knocks it out of the park with their accessibility to speak someone If there are questions in need of answering.

Cons

• Don't know if it's possible, but it would be amazing to have a Pre-existing Damage Section for the Assets. Some of the vehicles we have in our fleet are pre-owned, and they come with small scrapes, scratches, and minor dents•The ability to copy individual cards to other forms. I found when we have a vehicle out service, and we have to swap supplies to other vehicles, being able to copy a card with the specific information to another form would be useful.•The ability to video record during an inspection of our patrol vehicle lights would be fantastic. I heard this is something that should be available at the end of this year.

### "Whip Around Benefits Companies With Remote Employees"

Whip Around solved a lot of difficulties with a completely remote workforce in that drivers have no reason not to submit paperwork and payroll on time. Now they cannot submit late and claim that the email was lost. If they can take a picture they can submit their trip sheets. We can design and then arrange inspection cards for any subject quickly and easily in a way that makes performing and completing them easier for the drivers who can execute them in less than two minutes from anywhere they happen to be at any time avoiding excuses such as they were working and didn't have access to their PC. Whip Around app provides time stamps and a GPS location at the time of report submissions which eliminates a lot excuses and abuse. Generally our employees like it and even our 1099 drivers appreciate the tool. Used creatively, Whip Around has provided us with several ways to solve problems associate with an entirely remote workforce prior to the pandemic, allowed us to conform to requirements that developed out of the pandemic, as well as provide proof of vehicle and driver condition should our client's employees would try to throw our people or vehicles under the bus to collect overtime or play favorites with local transport providers they know personally whenever we enter a new contracted area.

Pros

Its ease of use especially for our drivers who are not always equipped with a personal computer.

Cons

There are no cons with Whip Around that I can think of.

Reason for choosing Whip Around

A combination of benefits with one of the highest being the reduction of repair costs thanks to photo inspections. Remote employees can write anything on paper forms or just submit the same copied paper forms over and over with a new date on it to hide damage to the vehicles. With a remote workforce we would get new hires who tried to hide the fact that they are homeless, intended to reside in the vehicle, and others intended to use our vehicle to run their own taxi service when they applied. With one of our local delivery operations we could never get accurate or consistent data regarding what appeared to be vehicle and fuel card abuse. Through creative use of Whip Around it was evident that the managers were involved in the deception and were intentionally altering paperwork and reports. We decided to employ Whip Around and the managers and employees had no idea that we were using the app to collect data across different departments/subjects designed to reveal the suspected unauthorized activates and managerial deception.

the inspection if used properly are very helpful , the manitenance program is very good. .

Cons

need more admin and supervisor training on how to properly use the product so all departments benefit . drivers need more training on conducting inspection and what is safety and what is not . drivers need to be accountable more. on thing i would love to see . if a driver fails a unit on a pre or post trip . it should automatically go to out of service status . and noe should be able to conduct a inspection until repairsare made and signed off by mechanic and place back in service .

It has been a game changer, no more need for paperwork to be printed, used by drivers and mechanics, inputted into the system and then stored in a file, everything is digital and can be pulled up in seconds. Tracking the fleet is so more easier and faster, its a great product! I used it at my last job and when I moved to Montana and was hired here, this product was one of the first things I recommended we start using.

Pros

This product took minutes to set up and get my fleet drivers logged in, theirs is very little room for error and the ease of using this product even for non techy drivers is incredible. They log in and follow the prompts to do pre/post trips, fueling, and repair work orders.

Cons

At this time we haven't had any issues using this product, simple instructions for drivers and the mechanic to use. Following up on work orders, and the mechanic and supervisors can monitor drivers to make sure they are compliant with FMSCA and company policies

I think much of this is answered above but I'll try to comment simply here with some bullet points. -improved time management for our mechanics to the tune of 20% -our fleet has stayed moving more regularly due to a streamlined means of communications and necessary repairs. We've gone from being primarily reactive to primarily proactive. In 1 half of our company we've seen an 80% reduction in rental costs and I attribute some of this to the introduction of WhipAround to our fleet of heavy equipment. -We have improved accountability from our driver's. We can now see who is and who isn't following our policies and procedures on a daily basis and take corrective action -In the past we operated off of homegrown spreadsheets and files to hold information about our fleet. Now we are able to have 1 spot to store vehicle/equipment info, photos, reports, faults, repairs, etc. So simple! -Overall, I have and will continue to suggest WhipAround to anyone I associate with as I firmly believe in their product and the support from their team. We at Belknap Landscape Co. honestly couldn't be happier with our relationship

#1 - customer service and implementation of the software into our organization was amazing. #2 - \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is number 1 in customer service and attention to our needs and product development thoughts. #3 - \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] took time to fly out to our team to help onboard our drivers into the software and provide a personal approach to the training #4 - the software is SOOO simple to use yet incredibly powerful and valuable in terms of results #5 - our drivers and mechanics now communicate totally differently than they use to in the past. Everything is streamlined and documented #6 - speaking of documentation...gone are the days of carbon copy books and tracking down hand written forms. Our organization has 4 facilities and to transfer information in a time-effective manner was everything but successful. With WhipAround the right people in our company get the information they need instantaneously allowing us to keep the right documents in the right place for legal purposes, allowing our mechanics to respond instantly to the needs of our fleet to keep them going and to effectively schedule the necessary repairs we need to run a profitable business. Everyone in the process of our fleet is accountable to their specific role when using WhipAround. Finally, the folks at WhipAround are all about product development and always open to suggestion/improvement of what they provide for a service which is a huge value add proposition in my book.

Cons

It costs .25 cents more per month per vehicle than the carbon copy book that we used in the past. Just kidding...that's all I've got. We thoroughly enjoy the business relationship we have with the WhipAround team!

### "Old School to new ways...."

We began our experience when Whip Around was new to the US market. Since then we have rolled along with the growth in the company. That includes switching account managers multiple times in the last year. During our first 1.5 yrs with Whip Around we had a really solid and knowledgeable go-to person who I assume knew the program inside and out due to being a part of the early days. Account managers now don't seem to have the same passion or commitment to the product as the original person we worked with. The biggest shift for me personally as a user has been feeling like we lost a personalized touch and that my input had value to the future look of updates.

Pros

For us, the software's primary goal was for our employees to perform daily inspections for DOT compliance and the internal awareness of vehicle/equipment concerns or defects.

Cons

As an early user, we have had to adapt to many updates, and some of those caused hiccups in our console that we manually updated once discovered. We would the app to be more useful to our shop mechanics, rather than them having to use a desktop computer for some things (out of service/back in service is a good example of that wish).

From the moment we expressed interest in this product, we have had a great experience. Their customer service is always available and always helpful. I've expressed interest in having other features before and they listened. This is a great company with a great product. This is one of the best tools we have in our DOT Compliance program.

Pros

Whip Around is easy to set up and use. Driver training can be done in minutes. Also, the card system it uses can be tailored to your company's needs, and our drivers actually like doing their inspections this way. I have no doubt that our drivers always did their inspections, but getting them to correctly fill out inspection forms was a nightmare. With Whip Around, all the problems I had with paper inspection forms were solved and I am getting more complete inspections than ever before.

Cons

At this time, I have no cons to report regarding Whip Around.

My location tests new technology and decides if it should be implemented throughout the company. Whip Around is a product that passed all of our requirements, and I wish we switched to it years ago. No more paper logs!

Pros

Support has been amazing. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been super helpful with whatever we have needed. We even made a few suggestions, that the company implemented. Training was easy, and to the point, being able to utilize almost form is super helpful. Being able to have a real time option for my fleet managing has been a lifesaver.

Cons

The only complaint I did have, the company addressed and fixed. I wanted the option to redflag assets to know which ones were out of service. I made the recommendation and the company implemented it.

We feel that WhipAround is an indispensable service with an excellent support team to back it up. We highly recommend it to anyone with a fleet to maintain, especially to any FedEx Ground contractors.

Pros

WhipAround has the finger on the pulse of its customers. When a service or a change is needed, they are quick to react.

While using Whip Around I have only encountered one glitch while using the app on my iPhone. I quickly contacted customer service and was connected to a technical support agent who helped me with my problem in a timely manner. Communication was very well maintained throughout the process as well thanks to \[sensitive content hidden\].

Let’s you do a real time inspection of any unit being used. Let’s other users know of any malfunctions or problems that have occurred as well.

Whip Around is great because it replaces the head ache of paper pretrips. It can be updated with the click of a few buttons and is very customizable to any need your business has in regards to checklist and inspections. The reporting is clean. Its very simple to add vehicles, users, or employees.

Pros

I like that Whip Around is completely digital. It has a unique API that can be integrated into our reporting platform, Looker. I like that the software is user friendly. It is very dynamic in that changes can be made in a few minutes vs traditional hard copy inspections which would need to be reprinted or versions become obsolete. The email reporting and the web platform reporting makes it very easy to see if employees are completing their inspections. If there are faults, we can easily identity them to send on to the mechanic. We have been able to integrate it company wide very easily because of how dynamic the software is with adding new users, vehicles, locations, forms, etc.

Cons

I would like a existing fault form that can be filled out for vehicles as they are added to the fleet or whip around is integrated. I would also like the ability to customize forms a little more with something such as a multiple photo option. I would also like a Manager version within the application. I would also like to see Whip Around continue to partner with telematics companies.

Managing defects and making sure staff is inspecting equipment.

Pros

The most impact feature would be the reported defects feature. Notifications sent when defects are reported by staff members. Easy to track equipment and prioritize what defects to tackle first.

Cons

Can’t complain about anything on the software. All features are useful in their own way.

Pros

When we first set it up the staff at Whip Around helped us upload all of our vehicle information and showed us how to upload past vehicle repairs. They took our existing vehicle inspection checklist and uploaded it very quickly. It was all quick and painless. Now Whip Around is home to all our past repair documents and makes it so easy to look up warranty repairs.

Cons

Product is easy to use. Our greatest challenge is getting our staff to consistently turn in their inspections. I'm currently looking into integrating Whip Around with Microsoft Teams to see about getting it more consistent.
