Cons I wish I could select the subscription for each asset. We have a lot of small equipment that we pay a lower monthly fee on vs our vehicles. Currently I have to notify my account rep each time I add an asset to ensure it is being billed correctly. Reason for choosing Whip Around WhipAround offered a better solution for our low cost equipment pieces. Fleetio seemed a little more complex. I like the simplicity and speed of WhipAround. They have a chat feature and someone always replies within minutes! Pros This software is very easy to use, as it can be used on a cell phone, tablet, etc. Our Service Technicians picked up on it very quickly, and it encouraged them to do all pre and post-trip inspections in a timely manner, which helped with our DOT compliance. Cons There is nothing we don't like about this software. There are even features we don't currently use, but it has so much potential .... It is very customizable and easy to monitor compliance. They continue to develop new features and their customer support is awesome. Pros Easy to setup of customized inspections. Pros with a large construction company there are a lot of moving parts and vehicle maintenance needs to be maintained. I have 24 Utility trucks and 2 peterbuilts and this app based program really helps. what first attracted me to it is how simple it looked for my field techs, my thoughts where not only the money to start a program but all the training that would have to take place but this app is so easy there was hardly any training at all. the back office features are great too, I can control almost anything and if I need help support is just a chat away. I highly recommend for any size fleet. Cons I would like to see whip around spread to other sectors of fleet management like ELD systems and GPS programs so I can have it all under one program. I up load the issue and what equipment needs worked on and send email to our mechanic he then signs off with his statement when done that SIMPLE. Pros How easy it is to review all faults or non faults,I can follow every piece of equipment in now time,or if an employee isn't signing in,great tracking . Pros This software allows us to be aware of Maintenance on our Trucks right from our corporate office! It allows us to see what's going on before the truck even leaves the yard. June 18, 2021 5.0 Whip Around is a great asset to our business and am glad we are in business with them. They have made everyone's job here a little less stressful with their services. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for maintenance and inspection tracking services. Pros Whip Around offers the best service at the lowest cost I found. They provide my company with great customer service, and a great product as well. The dashboard is super user friendly and easy to navigate. Their maintenance tracking service and inspection service is a great tool for our company as well. We are able to see when vehicles have issues, and when vehicles have upcoming services due. Cons The only con I have with Whip Around isn't actually with the service they provide. It is more with employees forgetting to fill out their inspection forms in the morning. Reason for choosing Whip Around Whip Around was the first and only company we looked. There wasn't a need to look any further after they told me what they offered and at the low price they offered.
