Best I've ever seen. Super friendly, super knowledgeable, and super quick with getting back to any phone call or email. Like I need the answer NOW, and they provide the answer NOW. Pros I love that everything can be in one place. We deal with many different boards and committees, so it's nice to be able to have all of the information in one location Cons I use the web version. It still needs work. I want to be able to have more control over how my completed book looks. I want to be able to upload different logos for different boards. I was trained by someone from Diligent Boards and have since been a fan. It means a lot when a company takes the time to have one of their experts train people. Pros Love how easy it is to use and train on. Cons What I like least about the software is the search feature. There's no specific order to it and makes it difficult to find what you're searching. Despite being in different Geographical locations, we were able to hold meetings and share files seamlessly. Thus the ability to access and share information securely and seamlessly is one of the greatest attributes of the product Cons As an Administrator, My inability to help users who are on my site to change or reset their passwords simply because they are overlapped with other boards, was a challenge. Since my company pays their annual license, as an Administrator, I should be able to help those user who are overlapped with other Boards as well. Pros It's easy to use and you can have one sign in if members are on other boards. Cons More flexibility in changing an evaluation if already published. Reason for choosing Diligent Boards We got more for our money, the 24/7 helpdesk, and Diligent WOULD sign the legal document. Audit Director Insurance Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Information in real time" November 4, 2021 5.0 My experience has been satisfactory and the benefits I have obtained are the following: - Reduction of printed papers, help the environment. - Agility in the delivery of information, real time. - Access to online information by members. - Timely bug fixes before meetings. Pros I love this product, it has given me the possibility of eliminating physical documents, previously I had to print several copies of the material to be discussed, currently, I only have to upload the digital files and the members can view the information in real time. In addition, previously, after dispatching the printed material, I did not have the opportunity to edit any errors or include missing information, now I have the opportunity to replace documents with errors or include data that I consider necessary before the meetings. HRIS Specialist Legal Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Helpful resource for committee members" August 10, 2020 5.0 My company uses Diligent for committee members, most of whom like the portability of an iPad, and it is a great way to go paperless, including using electronic signatures, and to ensure security. Pros Initial live training was good and reference materials are detailed and helpful. It's easy to set up users, and they are happy with the functionality. As an admin, it's fairly easy to navigate the interface for document templates called books, and the Resource Center where other documents can be stored. Customer service has been excellent. Cons As an admin, I can't see the same interface that the users see. In some cases of troubleshooting, it would be helpful. Also, upon finishing and approving a book, I have to go back to the main screen to get back to where I can make the book visible, but that's a small inconvenience. Users would like to use the voting feature, but it's set up in a way that doesn't work for them. It has simplified my life and that of my clients and I can't imagine being without Diligent. Very flexible with many options to organize your books. The Agenda Builder is a game changer. Cons Not a lot of flexibility to customize formatting on the Agenda Builder produced agenda i.e. fonts, can only input time duration (i.e. 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm) instead of just how many hours/minutes each section will be presented. Cons More of a customer service point but think it work better if licencees received their log-in credentials ahead of the intitial training you provide. Some of our users have Diligent knowledge from previous roles and are requesting the training as a refresher but because of delays in organising training (predominently driven by diary constraints of our senior managers) they can in practice be unable to access Diligent for an upcoming board due to them not having had their training by that point. Updating of books Pros The software is extremely user friendly compared with other similar platforms to which I've been exposed. It takes me at least half the time to create a book compared with the last programme. Cons I would prefer being able to perform all functions through the url than having to switch to the OneClick option. Also have great breakfast meetings which are informative and useful and provide the opportunity to discuss with others Pros Production and distribution of packs is easy, efficient and timely. I had a dream...or should i say nightmare the other day that i moved jobs and had to produce paper packs!! I woke up in a cold sweat! That speaks volumes for the end user experience. As an Admin user its generally pretty good too. Pros Collaborative, functional, allows board members to highlight text in presentations and post it notes for questions in meetings, everyone sees the same thing in the meeting, automatically resorts the folders and order when intermediate agenda items or items are added, available on ipad . Functionality has been added to conduct surveys and deal with minutes too. Cons Could do with an upgrade on look and feel, and some things just aren't intuitive, some defaults are the wrong way round (IMO - such as not automatically saving board members notes when a presentation is replaced - you have to elect for that), the client can appear a little slow on laptop at times but that may be due to where I am situated Review Source Response from Diligent November 2, 2018 Thank you for the nice and valuable feedback! Pros I loved the security, convenience of having all board materials in one place, and ease of use. I have used with board members with various degrees of IT savvy and it’s been well received. Cons There is the ability to make private notes in documents which get erased when materials are archived - that could be a setting but I found it a loss. June 21, 2018 5.0 Makes my job easier. Pros The ease in creating and editing the books. Not about the software but Diligent has excellent customer service with reps who are well versed in their knowledge of the software. Cons The inability to move tabs you've created into another placeholder i.e. Tab 4 now needs to become Tab 1, you can't easily bump the tap up or down. I have added tabs above or below to get the results I'm looking for - it that could be done easier it would be great and perhaps a feature to make small edits on docs uploaded. Sometimes at the last minute, the board wants to make small changes. A time saver would be to have the ability to revise the doc without going back to the original one, revising and then reuploading. Whenever the need rises the support team is always able to help. I have never had a bad experience with their team members. Pros This program has save many hours and paper for all of the meetings that I over see. Two years ago I went from just supporting our Admin Team to adding our Medical Staff support. If it weren't for the Diligent Program I am not sure I would have survived the change. Cons I started using Diligent in January of 2013 and so far I have not found anything that I dislike.
