We no longer have to deal with large heavily bound board reports which have to be stored for reference. I can now access past reports in diligent which is much easier. Very professional, informative and helpful. Pros Easy to implement and use. Integration was easy. Team support was exceptional - no silly questions! Streamlined our processes beautifully. Cons I'd like to see the Calendar function be more effective, but I believe that's in the pipeline. Doesn't matter how good the software is, if a Director doesn't want to use it, they won't! That you have to buy separate components. Reason for choosing Diligent Boards It was suggested to our CEO at a meeting; he was very impressed by what he had heard/seen at the meeting. It has streamlined board and committee preparation and ease of review for directors, exponentially. Can't imagine how we lived without it. Pros The intuitive functionality and customer support. Cons Clunky navigation from an administrator perspective in terms of navigating between archived books. It was far easier to coordinate with everyone on the same paid platform, rather than on lots of different free platforms. Pros Used mainly for survey services, voting, and completing and sharing pdf/document annotations. Easy to use platform with lots of functionality. Cons Other free services offer similar products but separately, but Diligent is one of the only services I've used that compiles these together in a package. Thus, maybe pricing could be worked on? The flow of Board pack preparation and distribution is easy to navigate. Cons Formatting the notification email that advises Board and Committee members that packs are ready would be good. Most especially it would be useful to have the hyperlink to the Diligent log in page embedded in each notification email. Resources....
