It's a quick and easy way to share important documents, etc. Pros It is easy to use and is a brilliant software package, saves so much time compared to the old system we had of printing and binding all papers. Cons Wish that you didn't have to keep scrolling down the Agenda each time you need to do a quick link, especially if your agenda is more than 1 page. So it is important that this information sits in a secure location. Pros I liked the professional look of the portal. I especially like that once you have the papers installed it is easy to scroll through the papers as if using a book. This makes it easier to find materials in meetings. Cons The initial set up was difficult. As an administrator it was difficult to grasp how to upload and then make the content visible to all users. However, this dissipates with constant use of the portal. Reason for choosing Diligent Boards Overall this was the best product out of the three we looked at in terms of security, accessibility, training, location of the storage of information and value for the money. I have used it longer than Board Vantage and prefer Diligent. Pros Speed of service, continuous support, content and layout. The companies are in two very different spaces (travel and biopharma), but the product works effectively and efficiently for both. Building a book is easy to do, directors rarely have trouble finding what they need, and the signature feature makes it a breeze to get things signed quickly. Additionally, any time I have called their 24 hour customer support line, I have been more than pleased with the service provided. The specialists are very knowledgeable about the product and can easily assist you in navigating the system. Pros Building the board book is easy, and a big time saver. It makes preparing, and organizing the meeting documents simple and stream-lined. Love being able to export my book to PDF.
